Music may finally be taking NFTs seriously. Several artists have undertaken music NFT ventures that have garnered millions of dollars. The NFT and crypto field is still in its infancy, especially in music. Still, the possibility for more direct artist-fan engagement and new ways to monetize digital works without traditional music publishers make this an exciting technological development.

Music NFTs Music NFT is a unique musical work's transferable ownership certificate. The owner has exclusive use rights. "NFT" refers to all fungible (many copies exist and are own by different parties) tokens protected on a blockchain that provides the owner access to music, album art, movies, or other unique content. Music NFTs help composers, bands, and artists connect with and communicate with their listeners.

Why? The same logic applies to making or selling music NFTs. A musician decides what to sell to his followers, such as audio files, NFT show tickets, or paraphernalia. Then he decides which blockchain or music NFT marketplace to use. After picking the NFT marketplace of their choice, they'll alert their fans of the release of their music NFT drop and put it up for sale. Since music NFTs (and other NFTs) cannot be reproduce, they may hold a one-time sale of an audio file, with the highest bidder owning the original (but not the copyright). Or they may make 20,000 music NFTs of the same audio clip to sell on a music NFT marketplace.
