My art serves as a bridge between the past and the present, blending Cape Verdean cultural elements with a contemporary approach. Each piece I create is an intuitive process, allowing subconscious thoughts and emotions to guide the composition, resulting in an authentic visual dialogue.

Beyond painting and visual arts, I also bring my artistic expression into fashion through the Kriol Style project, where I merge design and art to tell stories and reinforce cultural identity. I believe that art has the power to challenge perceptions, awaken emotions, and preserve narratives that shape the human experience.
I explore themes such as identity, memory, and emotional depth, using color, texture, and movement to construct visual narratives that go beyond aesthetics. My goal is to translate intangible emotions into concrete forms, creating a sensory experience that invites viewers to contemplate and engage.
