LOUIS, MO – The police are hot on the trail of a suspect after a carjacking on Saint Louis University Campus. 3 The graduate student was paying for parking near the intersection of Laclede and Spring on February 2. A young man grabbed her keys and tried to steal her car. He drove up on a curb as the two struggled over the keys. The police, who were looking for a black Ford Focus travelling after the suspect drove west on Laclede, later recovered the vehicle which was abandoned in Pine Lawn. The suspect is described as a white male, 6’ tall, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. The victim was not injured.
