Naperville – Changed into INDIA outside INDIA More than ten thousand Indian-Americans from all over the state arrived at the venue much in advance. Many out of state cars indicated the participation in the event from near and far both. The young and old both adorned colorful Indian dresses and head gears depicting culture and traditions from different states of India. The toddlers, kids, children and youth were glowing in Sunny Summer of August with pride of nationalism and patriotism. Though most of the IndianAmericans present at event were born much after the Independence in 1947, still they knew about the struggle and sacrifice their fore fathers have gone through and were emotional about the history of Struggle for Independence. This year many Indians brought along their friends and associates from other ethnicity to showcase Indian pride, culture, dresses, music and celebration of Independence Day of India.
