The highly anticipated event lived up to the hype for sure. Team members walked away with a plethora of prizes from weekends, to television sets, to some amazing gift vouchers.

It is a running joke here in the Bahamas that we like “tiiiiings and Conch Salad” and the recently concluded roadshow gave us more tings than we could ask for. Needless to say, the team members had a ball and a whole week later, tongues were still wagging about the epic team member engagement experience that was like no other. The event which took place at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium in Nassau, saw over 300 team members from various departments across the resort coming together for a time of fun, food, camaraderie, prizes and surprises. MOBAY REGION
Team Accounts Get Weh!
Who knew the Sandals Royal Caribbean Accounts team could trade spreadsheets for speed so effortlessly? They recently hit pause on crunching numbers and took some well-deserved time to let loose—and wow, did they deliver! From revving up mud on wild ATV trails to striking epic poses for the coolest photo ops, and stirring up some (friendly) chaos in the shooting range, this crew proved they’re as bold outside the office as they are behind the books. Not even a torrential downpour could rain on this party!

But one burning question remains: why weren’t we invited?! We’ll be on the lookout for the next one!

A Brand New Word Alley
To boost literacy and numeracy among Jamaica’s youngest learners, the Sandals Foundation launched “Word Alley” at Salt Spring Primary and Infant School in the Montego Bay Region. Funded with J$374,000, the project transforms sections of the school grounds into an engaging educational experience.
Transforming Whitehouse Early Childhood Centre
Labour day is all about love, unity, and teamwork work and so it was, with support from the Sandals Foundation, volunteers from Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Royal Caribbean revitalized the Whitehouse Early Childhood Centre, which serves Whitehouse, Flanker, and Providence. They repainted walls, replaced doors, created a school garden, and cleared old furniture to make room for learning, while aiming to create an inspiring, eco-conscious space for the children.

Sandals Dunn’s River
New Parent Diaries: Mom and Dad Edition
Lacianne Campbell

Becoming a parent has been a beautiful whirlwind for Lacianne Campbell, Front Office Agent at Sandals Dunn’s River. Each day, she looks at her little bundle of joy and still can’t believe she’s someone's mother. That surreal moment really sank in one morning when she woke up to tiny hands gently exploring her face, followed by a cheeky little smirk that seemed to say, “Finally, you're up!”
The most surprising part of mother- hood for Lacianne? Realizing that every stage comes with its own set of challenges—and it doesn’t necessar- ily get easier. “Parenthood is a rollercoaster,” she laughs, “but one I wouldn’t trade for anything.”
Her sleep schedule has taken a wild turn—often running on just two hours of rest—but she’s developed a true parental superpower:
Udrick Tingle
For Udrick Tingle, stepping into fatherhood has been nothing short of life-changing. “I thought I knew love,” he says, “but nothing compares to this fierce, protective, unconditional love I have for my son.” Every evening when he gets home, he quietly stands over his little one, rubbing his back and reflecting on just how much life has shifted—priorities, time, and even identity now revolve around one small, smiling face.
One of the most surprising lessons? Just how much patience parenthood requires. “I expected some sleepless nights,” he admits, “but the emotional toll, the tantrums, and not always knowing what he needs—that stretches you.”
Still, there are moments that make it all worth it. “Watching him wake up and smile when he sees us—that melts me every single time.” And when it
comes to parenting essentials? “Water,” he laughs. “If there’s a container of water nearby, he’s in heaven.”
Udrick’s picked up some clever dad skills too—like mastering a diaper change with just two wipes (a true dad flex). But more importantly, he hopes to teach his son to love God and people unconditionally, to be light in a world that desperately needs it.
Balancing self-care is still a work in progress, he says. “Sometimes I forget simple things, like eating.” But he’s embracing the highs and lows, knowing that every phase brings something new.
And if he could write a note to his future self? “Remember it all. The sleepless nights, the giggles, the ‘baba’ call when you pull into the driveway… even the ‘big gutt,’” he jokes. “This season is exhausting, yes—but it’s also the most rewarding ride of my life.”
functioning with little to no sleep and still showing up with a smile.
What melts her heart every time? Those early-morning wakeups where her son stares at her with love in his eyes, as if memorizing her face all over again.
Lacianne hopes to instill good manners in her son from an early age, believing it’s a gift that will serve him for life. And though balancing motherhood, work, and personal time has been tough—especially as a first-time mom—she’s learning to give herself grace and space to grow.
Her message to her future self? “Don’t forget these little moments. The sleepless nights, the baby giggles, the quiet cuddles—they’re shaping your heart in the most unforgettable way.”

Vox Pop
Sandals Grenada
How did a resort fitness pro become an international fitness pro?
Grantly Charles, Resort Fitness Pro at Sandals Grenada, is now internationally recognised after representing Grenada at the IFBB Roger Boyce Classic in Barbados on May 10, 2025.
In his competitive debut, he made history as the only Grenadian to win first place in a category — Men’s Physique (Above 176 cm)

— and went on to claim the Overall Winner title. His performance earned him an IFBB Pro Card, granting him professional status in the world of competitive bodybuilding.
“The training was strenuous. After the first screening I had to lose weight. My trainers and teammates were daily motivators. We adjusted
my meal plan and got into mint condition. I went in not expecting to win. Even now I’m still processing the fact that I won,” shared Charles.
Charles is now eligible for IFBB Pro League events.
