HyDrive HD Bass Cabinets — Hartke Innovation Continues. The patented HyDrive [Hybrid Driver] speaker design is vital… Straight anodized aluminum center cones transition to curved Kevlar®-loaded paper outer cones. The result is a solid punch combined with a warm round tone. And there’s more. Double-M roll edge surrounds ensure tight, articulate lows and minimize excursion distortion. Even the magnets and round copper-wire voice coils have been optimized for efficient power handling, portability, and audio performance. Plywood cabinets offer robust bracing, premium dado joinery and a road-worthy textured vinyl wrap. Finishing touches include black perforated steel grilles, scoop steel handles and solid steel corners. Every model features a 1" high-frequency driver tied to a three-position level control for achieving that perfect sound.
