Useful information How does GA work? Studentsamfunnet in Ås’ General Assembly is the organization's highest authority. This is where you have the opportunity to influence the operation of Samfunnet. The General Assembly starts exactly at 17:00 in Aud.Max.

All members and governing bodies of Studentsamfunnet i Ås have the right to promote matters in accordance with § 1.2. Matters to be addressed at GA shall be submitted to the Board of Samfunnet within three weeks prior to the GA, at the latest March 14th 2022. If you have matters you would like to add to the additional cases, you must notify the Chairman in writing before the meeting starts.

Activity and offers REVISED AND CONTINUED GOALS During 2021 Samfunnet shall each semester host at least 5 attractive events in collaboration with a cohost, where a minimum of one are a new collaborator. The event shall benefit members. Examples of collaborators are organizations without formal bonds to Studentsamfunnet, such as other student societys or sports teams. Partly achieved For contribution to inclusion of the internationals, Samfunnet shall together with ISU and ESN host at least five events facilitated for international students. The Board of House and Finance is the supreme authority at Samfunnet i Ås between general assemblies. The job of the board is to work strategically to ensure a secure management of Samfunnets assets, both economical and the building itself. The board has a special responsibility in taking long term strategic decisions, in cooperation with the other boards at Samfunnet. The board has throughout 2021 implemented the object in Samfunnet’s strategy with regards to having fewer meetings (fewer than previous years). This is to make it possible for external representatives (alumni) to be on the board. Fewer meetings does not necessarily mean fewer issues for the board to discuss, but rather that the board can prioritize issues of a more strategic caracter. Issues with regard to the day-to-day management of Samfunnet is addressed at Lederforum (a forum for the leaders of the other boards at Samfunnet). This is a good solution for the overall management of Samfunnet. The board has, since the general assembly of fall 2021 held two meetings and addressed 18 agenda points. In addition, the board has facilitated the traditional meetings for the elected members of the other boards and provided organizational training for them. The activity level at Samfunnet is now practically back to normal. This spring, the board has decided that the student representative also will be our representative in DVU (the forum for management and maintenance of the building). In addition, the agreement with SiÅs with regard to serving (Serveringsavtalen) has been an important topic, since the agreement was signed only days before the lockdown of 2020 and has not been used in full until now. The board has started the job of finding a suitable way of managing the funds at Studentsamfunnet. The board is now working actively towards banks and the university to get professional advice. The long term strategy for Studentsamfunnet is due to be revised in 2022, and the board has assembled a committee to oversee this important task. The revised strategy is to be debated at the general assembly in the fall of 2022. Last, but not least we would like to give a special thanks to all the volunteers, the boards at Samfunnet and all of you who work for the organization, for all your work and contributions during the Covid-19 period and for not giving up. The spring program is bursting with activities, and the first miniUKA in years is very close! This is all a testament to the fact that we are going back to normal. One of the tasks of the board is to approve investments over 15.000 NOK. There has, since the last general assembly, not been any applications or made any decisions above this sum.

Case 7 Preliminary reports for Studentsamfunnet i Ås for spring 2022 7.1 The Board of Samfunnet Following are the reports from board members of the Board of Samfunnet (Samfunnsstyret). The report from the leader is on behalf of Samfunnsstyret.

Report from the Leader Hedda Mejlænder-Larsen Honourable General Assembly! The semester in the spring of 2022 had a very similar beginning as the year before. Studentsamfunnet i Ås' operations were characterized by strict covid-19 restrictions. Despite strict restrictions, Samfunnet has been able to keep some of the operation going, due to the incredibly good and dedicated committee chairmen and committee members we have. Klubben was open all of January and the event block was running with Tuesday refills, quizzes and other events outside of party nights. For us, the beginning of February marked that we could start with party nights again. The semester kickoff was the first party night of the year at Samfunnet. Even though there were only 250 tickets avaible for sale, it seemed as if all

attendees enjoyed themselves. The 12th of February was a joyus day for most norwegian when almost all covid-restrictions were lifted in Norway. For us, this meant that we could finally return to normal operation, and it was gratifying to see Thorvald and Tora return to Samfunnsbygget. The entire board of Samfunnet (Samfunnsstyret) look forward to being able to complete the rest of the semesterprogram like we normally do. Collaboration with other actors Up till now, we have had a good collaboration with the Student Board (AU). We have also had good communication with Ås municipality, they have especially assisted during the start of the year when we where reopening the house during strict Covid-restrictions. The collaboration with SiÅs and NMBU is also going very well. We have now also begun to establish good routines around the new serving agreement, which is very positive. Organizational development Work on operating committees has continued this spring. A lot of work in December and January resulted in us being able to send out new contracts to operating committee members and committee chairmen at the end of January / beginning of February. At the end of last semester, new committee chair positions were established at Samfunnet. This was done to ease the workload on existing positions both with regard to the positions becoming operational and to adapt the workload according to the new serving agreement. Side 24 av 50

Activity and more Inside the Samfunnsbygningen, there have been some changes since the last time. The metal doors that go from Rosehagen to the Formannens rom, the Meeting room and Klubben have been replaced with new wooden doors. The doors were purchased in the autumn and used the last month of 2021 to acclimatize to the building before they were installed in January. There are also major changes in Halvors Hybel. During Høstsjau in November, the stage was demolished. This has opened up the room and provided better conditions for space utilization, especially during party nights when Halvors Hybel is used for disco. Stage plazas have also been purchased that can be used as a temporary stage so that the venue can still be used for shows and concerts. A working group has been set up to formulate a further plan for how the space will be further developed. As a result of the long-term strategy and work program, the community board will during 2022 work to revise the benefits for the volunteers at the house. This will be done in consultation with input from both committee members and committee chairmen who work for Samfunnet i Ås.

Report from the Head of Administration Anna Imsgard Strøm Honorable General Assembly! Administrasjonsblokka Spring 2021 Administration Assistant: Erica Caci Back HR: Vilde Kjelsrud Pedersen Head of Staff: Ida Eline Nes Myrvold Head of Staff: Mette Lea Head of Linticket: Aina Hustveit Head of Linticket: Emilia Rustad Head of IT: Marisha Gnanaseelan The committee leaders and committee member of Administrasjonsblokka have done great effort during this spring. Despite a lot unpredictability at the start of the semester, good and thorough work and commitment has been put into their work! Administration assistant Erica has taken care of the communication with NMBU with card access, ensuring all needs for access to the house are covered! She continuously updates the overview of all volunteers at Studentsamfunnet and contracts. In February she sent out new contract to all the drifting committee members and committee leaders. Committee member Fredrik is responsible for communication in connection with room booking. Finally, we have had opportunity to open for room bookings again, and Fredrik has had a lot more to do. It is great to see that so much of the house in use again! The Heads of Staff, Ida and Mette, answer questions about memberships and Community Service. This spring they have worked with getting the notice up again, after the strict restrictions. They have made it possible to have Community Service at Tuesday Refills and in Klubben at Thursdays, when they are in need of help because of the Thursday Quiz. The Heads of Staff works

continuously to develop the layout in Linticket to the better. Our HR manager, Vilde, has made a brilliant effort with preparations and implementation of both KS forum and KS workshop. Because of the restrictions early this year the committee workshops were completed at different times, and the HR manager was by all the committees she could during the two weeks the was held. She is also available to talk to for those who make contact, and assists, among other things, in hiring processes! Aina og Emilia, Head of Linticket, constantly solves problems for anyone who has difficulties. In their work with the development of LinTicket, they follow up which functions can be more useful in the future, how it can be made more user-friendly and adapted to Studentsamfunnet i Ås. This spring they have also registered the new contracts for the drifting committee members and committee leaders on Linticket, so that the administration assistant could send them out. Problems and questions about IT are dealt with by Marisha, the Head of IT. Sha has also looked at upgrading the computers in Kontorfløya, and has assisted in transition from Y: to the new platform; Teams. Membership numbers Studentsamfunnet i Ås has as of 14.03.2022 2294 members, of which 108 are international members. This makes up about 36% of the students at NMBU! Lifetime members are not included in this total. The Board of Samfunnet hope that the interest of being a member of the Student Society in Ås is maintained, we really appreciate that so many want to be a part of it! To all the committee leaders and committee members in Administrasjonsblokka - thank you so much for the good work! Report from the Head of Finance Synne Strømmen Honorable General Assembly!

Financial update in the spring of 2022 The year started with another lockdown and strict restrictions in January. This led to a fairly empty Samfunnet. The income this month was generated from food and drink sold in Klubben. The students seemed to take very good advantage of this offer. The concept of longer opening hours on Wednesday and Friday was a success. In February, we opened for party nights, and shortly after, the house opened to full capacity where we are still happy to be today. New this year is that we have launched the drink bong system "DiggiBong" as a payment solution for some events. Annual accounts 2021 The annual result for 2021 ended at NOK 512,417 for Samfunnet i Ås. The result was higher than budgeted much due to reduced costs, including halving the cost of the serving agreement for 2021. Due to reduced capacity for large parts of the year, this has led to lower operating revenues than budgeted. The economy received a good boost when corona restrictions were lifted at the end of September, and society could once again operate at full capacity. With closed / reduced capacity for

large parts of the year, several of the fixed costs have been constant. For 2021, we have been granted various public compensation funds. The support schemes have come in handy for the operation of the house during the pandemic. The accountants have done a solid job of making the annual accounts as accurate as possible. They have done an important job for the entire Student Society by preparing the annual accounts for approval. This saves the Studentsamfunnet extra auditing and accounting costs. I would also like to thank the last CFO Peder for his persistent efforts as CFO. During his period, Peder has shown solid economic control over the economy of Samfunnet. The good preparation that was put in place in 2021 provided a very good starting point for me and the accounting officers in the work with the financial year-end this year. Thank you! The work in the finance block Large parts of the finance block are operating for Samfunnet and UKA in Ås this year. This will contribute to a better financial overview and control for the entire Student Society in Ås as a whole. Accountants and financial assistant Hedda is a new financial assistant for the community in Ås. She has put herself in the position without any problems, and shows good commitment to the job she does. At the same time, she has good communication with the other KSs at Samfunnet, and she gets things done when they need to be done. Together with climate accounts, they are developing on new purchasing routines. Thank you for being my higher hand! The accountants have spent much of the time after the New Year on the Annual Accounts. The accountants have made a persistent effort and have prepared well to complete the annual accounts by the deadline. Many thanks to John, Marit and Inger for their efforts so far this year and thank you for the good supporters you are. They have shown great commitment and have worked good, steady and independently which gives results. Side 28 av 50

Climate Accounting Committee The Climate Accounting Committee, led by Johannes, has made great efforts to complete the climate accounts for 2021. They have made steady calculations and analyzed how Studentsamfunnet can reduce its climate footprint. Climate Accounting is currently developing new purchasing routines in collaboration with the financial assistant. This will contribute to more climatefriendly purchases on the house. This is a large and important step that will benefit the entire student community in Ås. You do a great job, I look forward to seeing the development during the year! Analyze Committee Chairman Herman is the new KS Analysis. This year, we have also received a committee member to the Analysis Committee. Analysis does an important job to better streamline and facilitate the operation of the house. They are already in the process of new exciting analysis work for the house. At the end of 2021, a bar technician was hired, who works to order drinks and works to develop variation in the offer. This has meant that we have a better overview of stock, purchasing and offers, which in the longer term will give us better opportunities and offers in the bars. A security guard course for law enforcement has been completed. That way we can continue with safe party evenings. Bodegakonsernet has also held conflict management courses, which means that we are better equipped to handle different situations that we may encounter. Otherwise, we have worked to set up operating committees. This applies to the Bodegakonsernet, security, bar and entrance. For entry, the KS position is also drifting. This means that the committee members and, for entry, the KS also work both at community events and during UKA. They also get benefits for both.

Committees The first month of the year were most of the arrangements canseled due to national restrictions. Although we could not stay open for party nights, the committees were planning for a safe and good opening. Klubben has been fully operational, even with the restrictions. We also wanted to expand this offer when there was no opportunity to arrange partys. We did this by offering responsible hosting courses to bar staff who could work Wednesdays and Fridays to stay open longer. In addition, we set up a disco to play music on some occasions as an offer in the evening in Klubben. After we were able to open the house for partying again, we have changed the routines at Klubben on Wednesdays and Fridays, so that guests can go straight from Klubben down to putting on ribbons at the entrance. Those who choose to take advantage of this offer therefore do not have to stand outdoors waiting for the house to open. We experience this as something visitors want to take advantage of.

The building During autumn of 2021, we demolished the stage in Halvor's dormitory. This has freed some space for us to have greater opportunities in Halvor's dormitory. A planning committee has also been appointed to work to set clear usage goals and opportunities. Among other things, we will be able to use the room as a disco room, lounge, lecture room and it is possible to insert a movable stage to hold smaller concerts. DVU has replaced the doors with Rosehagen, which is better and creates a different expression. The carpentry committee has, among other things, provided better storage options in a number of rooms and other maintenance that is important to the house.

Report from the Head of Events Kristoffer Bovard Rønning Honourable General Assembly! The event block's working force: Event Assistant: Emilie Aaen KS Current: Mia Mathilde Maudal KS Activity: Aksel Vardeberg Skeie KS Revue: Simon Bakkejord In addition, we have 13 members in the events and activities committee and 5 members in the relevant committee. The year until now In January there was a new shutdown, and planned events and concerts were canceled here due to the restrictions. We had planned to carry out events here that could attract new students, as both students who throughout the autumn did not have the opportunity to experience student life found at Samfunnet i Ås, but also exchange students who often have some difficulty understanding the Ås culture. We aimed to complete Graskurs 1.5 in the size scale that Graskurs 2 tends to be in the autumn, as there were also number restrictions at that time, and most of the new student mass has not received any impression of our association culture. Attendance at Samfunnet has so far been impeccable in general. All big events are sold out, or almost sold out, and attendance at the events shows how the social meeting place Samfunnet has been absent. The quizzes are always sold out, the majority of the theme parties are sold out, the same goes for the revues. This has been the case since reopening this autumn, and I think members and non-members have noticed this on our ticket platform, Linticket.

We have now tried to have events at the house every day, which has worked both ways. In these times where the chance of getting sick is relatively high, this has meant that we, even without restrictions, have had to cancel some events due to limited capacity in the block. Towards the autumn, this will probably not be as big a problem as the UKA takes up a large part of the weeks, but we will take this into account during the most active weeks. This gives us more freedom to think bigger, and use more capacity per event, which will hopefully make the average event larger and more attractive than normal. This autumn, our goal is to experiment with the rooms used during the parties, to see how we can solve the situation with Aud.Max renovation. At the same time, we are looking at opportunities to attract more students to Samfunnet during the Fadderuke, and be helpful to the various faculties with party implementation. As a large proportion of new students have not experienced as much partying and fun with lockdown for a long time, it is appropriate to create a safe environment so that the fantastic and inclusive Ås culture can be preserved and passed on to newer generations. Thanks I must first and foremost say a big thank you to my comitee chiefs who are working hard and putting an incredible amount of effort into both planning and implementation of the semester program. A big thanks to all groups and associations that are involved in forming this community and who, with great joy, are helping to shape this house and the student community. In the end I would like to thank the committee members. Without your help the events would not have gone around. I have to say thank you to the Samfunnsstyret, it has been, and is a joy to sit on a board with you.

We strive to have a wide variety of events at the house, both recurring and individual events. This also includes our international students, who we thrive to get through by having English names at several events in both the Norwegian and English semester programs. Side 32 av 50

Film and Photo have also gotten new equipment, which will increase the quality of our work. The film committee have worked diligently on aftermovies, which we post after major parties and concerts. The committee have also started on a competition internally. This is so we can both raise the bar for our photographers and videographers and give them the recognition they deserve. The inclusion committee have worked very hard to hang the latest posters all around campus. Hallvard have done an amazing job at keeping the international student up to date on what’s happening at Samfunnet and giving them correct information about membership and payment method. This includes a tour of Samfunnet earlier this spring.

Re-closing and re-opening again After this autumns General Assembly Samfunnet have gone through covid-restrictions and are finally back to normal again. Every volunteer in the marketing block have impressed greatly after this re-opening. We started 2022 with Pernille taking over as marketing assistant, replacing Joel. This is the only change we have on KS-level. The marketing block, especially Design and Layout, have worked on many different projects which is not public yet. This includes updating the design manual for Samfunnet in Ås. A lot of work has gone in to making this semester’s semester programme, which is finally back in A1 format. If you pay close attention to Samfunnet in Ås in the coming days, you’ll discover we have worked on a new type of poster, which we are very excited for!

Report from Head of Concert Fredrik Skistad Honourable General Assembly! This year we started with a couple of sticks in the wheels, but after just over a month of shutdown, we were able to start again with events in February. For the semester kick-off, we were visited by 06 Boys, who provided a solid atmosphere in a seated Auditorium Maximum. Not long after, we were visited by Slæm Dønk who provided after ski vibes despite the lack of snow. This was this year's first concert with a standing audience! This year, our technical department has carried out several events on both a large and small scale. The quality is getting higher and higher, and the commitment has been tremendous! The committee heads for the staff side have arranged for training and roster. In addition to event planning, there has been greater focus on our own equipment park. The lighting committee is in its third investment year out of five. Lighting Technical has the plans ready to continue the work of raising the level of the stage technical lighting equipment. Sound Technical has ensured better control on the sound side of the equipment park. This year there has been a lot of service and a complete overview has been made of the state and year of purchase of the entire park. This year, Disco has played in new halls and with new concepts. They have played in both the Festsalen, Halvors Hybel and in Klubben. Artist & Booking got a lot of work at the beginning of the semester with restrictions that continuously set guidelines on which events could

be carried out. Now the focus is on the autumn semester, and it will be exciting to see what our talented committee leaders come up with for this autumn's concert program. I would like to thank the committee leaders who have sat this semester. The effort and commitment have been great and together with the committee members they have ensured that the audience gets excellent experiences here at Samfunnet. Sitting committee leaders this spring have been Rasmus Falkeid Hagland (Lighting Staff), Bård Olav Andersen (Sound Staff), Henrik Nordtorp (Lighting Technical), Julie Overrein (Sound Technical), Thale Sandvig Andersen (Booking), Ida Therese Sæverud (Booking) and Ragnhild Heiene Johansen (Disco). 7.2 The Business Committee Honorable General Assembly! The Board in the spring of 2022 consists of: Leader - Nora Christine Hjelme Head of administration - Helene Drechsler Head of career day - Siril Bjørke Head of events - Linda Cecilie Olsen Head of sponsorship - Even Brede Sillerud Head of marketing - Vishnupriya Jayachandran Generally The Business Committee at NMBU has been doing a lot of different things this semester. Among other things, work is being done to renegotiate the collaboration agreement with NMBU, as well as continuous organizational development and reconstruction of the Business Committee. This is mostly about looking at the development of the career fairs. In addition to this, the Business Committee has worked on various issues which will be described in more detail below. Business Day 2022 On 16 February, we arranged the Business Day 2022, this year again digitally. This time, a total of 27 companies came, and they covered subject areas from all seven faculties. During the day itself, we had eight well-attended live presentations, something both we and the companies are happy with. In connection with Business Day, we had "Tips and tricks for digital Business Day" and "CV photography and job search course". We would like to thank Tone-Line Fiane who holds these courses for us year after year. Now we are in the process of planning the autumn's big highlight, Career Day 2022. Then we hope to see you physically again! Other events Since the last General Assembly, the offer of events has again been somewhat characterized by the uncertainty due to the pandemic. The last event before Christmas was therefore a digital exam technique course. The first event after Christmas was a useful and helpful master writing course held by the Writing Center. In February, the focus was especially on Business Day and the associated events for this. In recent times, we have arranged an exciting lecture with the startup company TotalCtrl, and had a company presentation with the Ministry of Finance. The next on the program with us is Ås-såvidere which is arranged the day after the General Assembly. The Business Committee works continuously to include the line associations to a greater extent, so that both can use our network as a resource. So far, only one seminar has been held which was held digitally due to the pandemic. The seminar was held by Proviso, and the theme of the seminar was "How to attract people to events". Since this was done digitally, we had the opportunity to invite more associations, teams and foundations at NMBU, in addition to the line associations, as the topic is

considered relevant to more people. Going forward, we hope to increase contact with the line associations and believe a large part of it will be through physical seminars. When it comes to marketing, we have marketed our various events, in addition to digital Business Day 2022. We have also marketed Case Club and company presentation for the AF group and Indøk NMBU. The pandemic and another closure have made it difficult to reach students, and in the future we will work on this. Career Fund The Career Fund consists of 15% of last year's surplus to the Business Committee. During 2021 kr 77 500 was distributed for career-enhancing activities for students at NMBU. The next deadline is September 20th. The funds that are not distributed are earmarked to the Student Society. Guidelines, application forms and previous grants are available at www.nunmbu.no Sponsorship work The sponsorship team is led by the head of sponsorship in the Business Committee. The team works to coordinate the sponsorship work carried out by Studentsamfunnet in the best possible way. The sponsorship responsibility of the Business Committee now includes Samfunnet i Ås, UKA i Ås and Tuntreet. This work exceeds all expectations, and we work closely with all parts. During the autumn of 2021 and the spring of 2022, the Business Committee renewed the cooperation agreement with Tekna and NITO. We are happy to collaborate and hope for a good collaboration in the coming year. Climate The Business Committee has assessed its own activities to try to reduce the climate footprint. The majority of the emissions for the Business Committee occur from food and drink at various events, as well as the purchase of sweaters and t-shirts. These are emissions that are challenging to reduce, but the Business Committee is constantly working to find new ways to reduce emissions. 7.3 Tuntreet Honorable general assembly! The Tuntreet staff Tuntreet now consist of 39 employees (including editors and committee heads). During the pandemic the number decreased, but we are almost at full capacity again. We have committees for journalism, photography, proofreading, translation, illustration, and distribution. We have had a journalism course where also UKEmagasinet were invited to attend. There is a good working environment, and we celebrate each publication with beer and waffles. The editorial staff and committee heads during the 2022 spring term is: Editor-in-chief: Simen Walbækken Tangen Managing editor: Sofie Bergset Janols Head of photography: Nathalie Genevive Bjørneby Head of layout: Sara Thu Head of translation: Julie Hauge Blindheim Head of proofreading: Andrine Stengrundet Editions During the pandemic, the number of printed editions were at a low 600. Now we are up to 1000 editions, whereof 800 are in Norwegian, and 200 in English. This is the same amount as before the pandemic. Not all issues are picked up, so we unfortunately have to get rid of some. To reach the objective in the sustainability clause, we will work to improve our distribution. As I’m writing, we have a survey examining this. It is our wish to distribute to more places on and around campus, and to have the right number of editions at each location. The feedback we receive on the editions is good, but we want to reach the student mass even better. Please send in potential stories for us to write about! We are working to make our articles as objective as possible. Economy Tuntreet’s budget is made with the aim to break even. The financial support from NMBU for 2021 didn’t make it into the 2021 accounts. This is why Tuntreet wont break even in 2021 but run a deficit of 194 315 kroner. The financial support from NMBU will, as per our contract, be at 200 000 kroner and our accounts would thus have looked a bit different. Tuntreets largest expense is the printing costs. In the last year, the price of paper has increased a lot, and it has therefore become more expensive to print Tuntreet. The second largest expense is the licence costsM; these will hopefully become cheaper when the deal with TechSoup in collaboration with Studentsamfunnet has been finalised. Our income is, as previously mentioned, mostly based on Side 40 av 50

the financial support from NMBU, followed by adverts. Currently, we don’t have any fixed advert agreement, and this is desirable to break even for 2022. Web and social media The editions are also published on https://issuu.com/tuntreet. Some of the articles are also published on tuntreet.org, both in English and Norwegian. We have also started a debate page where the letters to the editor are published right away. Our hope is that this would make people debate through wellthought out and constructive letters to the editor. Our presence on social media is moderate. We use it for article distribution or to get responses for our surveys. We unfortunately experience that fewer people are responding now than in earlier years. Thanks I would like to thank the staff who are doing a phenomenal job each edition. Each edition is getting better and better! It has been lovely to work with so many talented and good people. I also want to give thanks to our dedicated committee heads who are doing much more than expected. And a big thank you my great co-editors, Sofie and Tord, for an incredibly good and funny collaboration! I wish Sofie and the new editor elected today the best of luck this coming autumn! 7.4 UKA i Ås It will soon be a year since the UKEboard started the work towards UKA I Ås 2022. Since this the UKEorganization has grown to about 400 wonderful volunteers now ready to arrange miniUKA. In February we had a successful miniUKErelease where the whole program for miniUKA was publicized and started a huge recruitment process. miniUKA is UKA i Ås’s warmup for the big UKA in October, and this year’s collection of happenings consists of 3 concerts, 10 events, standup and UKErevue. We are looking forwards to show what we have been working with, and this is something you most certainly don’t want to miss! As many may have noticed UKA i Ås has changed its logo and design profile. Our wish is for this logo to phase out the old one and to become the main logo even after UKA i Ås 2022. Meanwhile, behind it all we’re still working towards the big UKA. And even though we can’t disclose much right now, we encourage you to follow UKA i Ås on social media to be noticed about upcoming releases and marketing stunts from UKA i Ås! We can already now guarantee that UKA i Ås will be this fall’s greatest highlight!

Case 8: Cases submitted in accordance with applicable deadlines 8.1 Changes in the UKEinstruction Background The UKEboard regularly revises the instructions for UKA in Ås and sees that the UKEinstruction must be approved by the General Assembly. All other institutions at Studentsamfunnet in Ås have their instructions revised through The Board of House and Finance. In accordance with the Studentsamfunnet in Ås’ Articles of Association §4.1.4 e) one of the tasks of The Board of House and Finance is to design and revise instructions for Studentsamfunnet in Ås’ other boards and bodies annually. For what is stated in the UKEinstruction to correspond with the Studentsamfunnet I Ås’ Articles of Association, we want to make a change in section 9.1 of the UKEinstruction. § 4.1.4 Rules of procedure The Board of House and Finance shall deal with all core issues. In this paragraph, the term” core issues” means the following: e) Create and revise instructions for Studentsamfunnet’s other boards and bodies annually Proposed resolution 9.1 Acting UKEboard has the right and duty to comment on proposals for changes in the instructions for UKA in Ås above the General Meeting the Board of House and Finance in accordance with the Articles of Association.

8.2 Changes in Articles of Association Suggestion 1.1 (F1): Suggested by The Board of Samfunnet Background At Studentsamfunnet i Ås’ General Assembly in the autumn of 2021, the articles of association regarding Hans Hovenhet Hestehoven were adopted and introduced in Chapter 5 of the articles of association. As the articles of association are now written, there is some ambiguity about the actual appointment of Grand Master, Master of Ceremonies and Cantzler. When the articles of association

were written, the idea was that the sitting order college (consisting of Grand Master, Master of Ceremonies and Cantzler) appointed the order college and the General Assembly approved it in the same way as is done with an external representative to the House and Finance Board. The purpose of the amendment to the articles of association is to make it clearer what the practice around Hans Hovenhet Hestehoven is. Proposed resolution § Hans Hovenhet Hestehoven is the Student Society in Ås' order. The order consists of three degrees Knight, Commander and Grand Cross Bearer. § Hans Hovenhet Hestehoven's college of order is appointed by the sitting Order’s College and approved by the members at Studentsamfunnet i Ås’ the Student Society in Ås' general assembly in the spring even-numbered years and sits for a four-year period (8 semesters). The Order's College consists of Grand Master, Master of Ceremonies and Cantzler. § Representatives in The Order's College are appointed from active members of Hans Hovenhet Hestehoven. The members of the student community vote on appointments by the college of the order at the general meeting. § Change of The Order’s College takes place at the following order promotion.

Elections – spring In even numbered years Hans Hovenhet Hestehoven, is appointed by the sitting Order’s College and approved by the GA every four years in even-numbered years a) The Orders college consisting of Grand Master, Master of Ceremonies and Chancellors are elected for eight terms The Board House and Finance’s evaluation The Board of House and Finance suggests the changing in the Articles of Association.

Suggestion 1.2 (F2): Suggested by Lise Benette Hovd and Vegard Sjaastad Hansen Background Studentsamfunnet i Ås is said to be the cornerstone in the social life of students here in Ås. It is an important arena for coming together, debating and to crate good memories. But only 1/3 of the student mass are members of Samfunnet. Our overarching goals for Studentsamfunnet i Ås states that “ Studentsamfunnet i Ås shall be an attractive offer and a natural meeting place for all students connected to NMBU in general and for the members of Samfunnet in particular”. and Studentsamfunnet will strive to provide the activities and offers that students want, and will work to 44

be a natural meeting place for NMBU-students, student associations, academical associations and meetings, in everyday life and at parties”. It is clear that Studentsamfunnet i Ås want to preserve its roots as the cornerstone for all students in Ås. We therefore believe it to be important to harmonize our overarching goals with the purpose paragraph, so that the important role of Studentsamfunnet is clear both now, and for coming generations of students. We propose that the purpose paragraph is extended to mention other students, in addition to the members of Studentsamfunnet. We believe this change in the statutes are necessary, so that Studentsamfunnet will have anchoring to also work on cases that benefits all students. Studentsamfunnet have a huge potential to influence more in an improvement for the student environment here at Ås. Just like our predecessors wanted when Studentsamfunnet was founded in the year of our lord 1864. Studentsamfunnet is consulted by many in student cases, and many outsiders wish to cooperate with Samfunnet exactly to get closer to the students. A harmonizing of the over arching goals and the purpose paragraph will make it clear that we are trying to give a social offer to all of the 6750 students at NMBU, and not just one third of them. A change in the purpose paragraph will make it necessary for Studentsamfunnet to actively work for and support more low threshold offers, so that all students feel welcome at Studentsamfunnet. Proposed resolution § 1.1 THE PURPOSE OF STUDENTSAMFUNNET Studentsamfunnet i Ås aims to promote a good camaraderie for their members. Through speeches, discussions and entertainment which shall contribute to joy and development for their members. Furthermore the Studentsamfunnet i Ås also have as a purpose to work for an inclusive and social environment for the rest of the students at NMBU.

The Board House and Finance’s evaluation The Board of House and Finance suggests not to change the purpose of Studentsamfunnet in the Articles of Association.

Case 9: Informative cases 9.1 Climate Accounts of Studentsamfunnet i Ås 2021 The climate accounts for Studentsamfunnet i Ås are divided according to scopes 1, 2 and 3. These are briefly explained below. Scope 1 Direct emissions from own means of production or emissions controlled by the organization, including fossil fuels used for transport and / or heating. Emissions from this scope have not occurred in 2021 as neither fossil fuels have been used for heating or transport of own cars during the period. This applies to all parts of the Studentsamfunnet i Ås. Scope 2 Indirect emissions associated with electricity, heating, regulation of the indoor climate in owned and leased buildings as well as other previously possibly purchased energy are used for. The consumption figures have been received from NMBU Teknisk Drift. Emissions from this scope can be calculated based on location and / or market-based method, including which organization used which part of the building during a given period. In a normal operating year, this will be more relevant. Guarantees of origin (GOs) have been purchased for all electricity consumption. Remote heating accounts for a total of 5.3% of emissions in 2021, electricity for 1.2%. Scope 3 Scope 3 includes indirect emissions related to the purchase of goods and services, except purchase of energy. The emissions from this scoop are related to the organization's activity but arise from sources that are neither suitable nor controlled by the company. Including items such as flights, mileage allowance, waste and other goods will naturally be found. Many of the emission factors include several steps in the production process from raw material to finished product and are marked with T1-4 for materials and A1-3 for food and beverages. Food and beverages account for the largest share of emissions during 2021, 48.75% and 26%, respectively.
