The General Åssembly starts exactly at 17:00, and if you have matters you would like to add to the Miscellaneous section, you must notify the chairman in writing before the meeting starts. If you would like to speak at GF, it must be done in the following way:

Electronic voting, using “response meters” 1-2-3 FINISHED! We have chosen to use our “response meters ” for delivering votes. Using electronic voting, we save a lot of time, and get an effective election process. The response meters is the size of a credit card and has 12 buttons (1 / Å, 2 / B, 3 / C ..etc. See photo.) Candidates for election are assigned one of the 12 buttons (showed on the power point presentation), and the General Åssembly may vote by pressing the appropriate button in a particular period. Chairpersons informs when voting starts and stops. To participate in voting, your response meters are traded in for your student card(which you get back when returning the response meter), and you are personally liable for the loss of this! Example of election process: Election for UKEsjef: 1 / Å: Bruno Sten 2 / B: Willy 3 / C: Tor Pedo 4 / D: Ånne 5 / E: -no voteParticipant 1; will give Willy his voice, and therefore press button 2 / B. Response meters is green when vote is registred. Participant 1 can change his choice until the chairperson says “STOP Election”. Voting period will last approximately 10 to 20 seconds.

ITEM 4 PRELIMINÅRY REPORTS Dear General Assembly! Before I start talking about the exciting things that has happened at Samfunnet since last General Assembly, I would like to say thanks to all of you for giving me this opportunity. It’s been a year since I was standing at this podium, wondering what was to be expected for the following year. To sum it up, nothing has turned out how I thought it would. It has been much better. I have had so much fun and been able to attend to a lot of exciting and important work. I have also had the pleasure to get to know many amazing people, who work hard to give you the Student Society you have today. I am so grateful; I don’t have words to describe it. So, on to the main part of the report; The Student Society Board spring 2017 consist of: Runa Risnes Haglund, President Ole Golten, Vice President Andrea Loe Rønvik, Head of Administration Fredrik Forsberg Ellingsen, Head of Finance Sjur Vammervold, Marketing Manager Hakon Husdal, Event Manager Ida Victoria Pedersen, Concert Manager Nikita Fonarev, Future Concert Manager Since last General Assembly, a lot has happened. One of the things we have been working with is how to handle NMBUs new rules for lending of rooms at campus, which does not allow alcohol consumption in the school premises. Although many students see it as a problem, I must honestly say I'm glad we've got an extra reason to get better at offering the students what they want, here at Samfunnet. In addition to The Student Society’s diverse semester program that facilitates different activity, SiÅs is now offering pre-party deals in Café Klubben on Wednesdays, and a student menu with more student friendly prices for all students. Along with the possibility to lend Page 5

rooms for free, as long as your student union or group have at least 75% members of the community, we are now offering the students a good deal here at Samfunnet. One of the most important things I have been working on this year, is to give student unions and associations a good reason to use Samfunnet more actively, and I believe we have made a solid foundation for that, now. We have also been working a lot with how to adapt to a much stricter control of our securitycommittee from the Police. With strict guidelines, we have to spend considerable resources on training, and continuity in the committee will be even more important than before. It order to maintain an even more robust securitycommittee, we look in to merging the committee with security UKA, both because we see it as appropriate, profitable and necessary. The Film Committee has undergone structural changes, and we have expanded committee to be film and photo committee, a committee we hope to serve Samfunnet, UKA and Tuntreet. In that sense we hope film and photo committee can be a pioneer committee when we are looking into merging of other committees at Samfunnet with UKAS committees where that is appropriate. Other changes in our committees that should be mentioned is that we have created an entirely new chief of sponsoring. We hope this position can be a good contribution not only for the sponsorship of Samfunnet, but for sponsorship for the entire Studentsamfunnet, as part of the sponsor team. There have also been done work to increase expertise in our other committees, I would particularly like to highlight the expansion of the booking committee, training of sound committee, and greater focus on cooperation among committees. The Festsjef still has responsibility for keeping “Fest Meetings” and “KS-forums”, which we see is contributing to better cooperation and more focused organizational development. That we have committee chiefs that are taking more responsibility, makes it feel safe to move more operational work to them, so the Student Society Board may work more strategically ahead. The committees have also received their own budgets, which makes them able to take financial responsibility for themselves and to accomplish what they want to achieve. Budgets are continuously monitored by the finance assistant, something which is going very well.

As for administrative changes, I would like to highlight that it is possible to select date for “Samfunnstjeneste” on your own, something we hope will make it even more pleasant to come to work at Samfunnet. Another thing we have worked a lot with this semester is E-Signing for all committee members. This facilitates the work of signing work contracts, and has been a vast improvement. We also prepare a more updated website this spring, it will be ready by this summer, and as far as I know, we all have something to look forward to. When it comes to events at the house, we see that there are varying attendance, both on party nights and other events. Revues and theme parties are well visited, and quiz on Thursdays is still popular. We will continue to work with a diverse semester program, with both small and large events throughout the week, when the semester program for autumn set. We have worked towards getting input from our members about the events here at the house, so feel free to make wishes for the coming semesters! Initially, I hope you look forward to SPRELL festival, it will be so much fun! At last, I most of all want to say thank you to all of you. Thanks to everyone who contributes to the Samfunnet, to make it what it is today. Both members, student unions and groups, committee members, and the rest of Studentsamfunnet. I look forward to exciting work this spring, although I feel very sad to leave Ås, and let it become another joyful chapter in my life. Thanks for having me, Samfunnet, and thanks for having me, Ås.

Preliminary report from The Vice president, spring 2017 Ole Golten 23rd

Å date to remember is of april, this is when we will be arranging the spring cleaning at Samfunnet I Ås. I would like to use this opportunity to encourage everyone to meet up. On this day we want to apply a new coat of paint a few places, as well as major and minor maintenance projects. There will be served both food and drink, so please take the time to help out. I also have some good news regarding the technical building, the bodega restrooms will be renovated this will increase the capacity significantly.

which will help both Uka in Ås and Samfunnet. On another note, we are organizing a first aid courses to ensure that our guests are safe at our events. Bodegakonsernet has been extended so there are two Technical Responsible at so that the work during our events run smoothly. Å New event manager has been hired this spring and the KS forum is up and running, they provide the detail planning for all the events. This has now been running for a year and has worked very well. I want to thank everyone who has helped to run the community so far and want wish everyone running for office good luck!

Å major task that we have been working on after New Year has been to introduce electronic signing of contracts. This is something that has pleased both Committee Leaders and the Board members. The responsibility for contract signing has been assigned to the Event manager, which has led to much less administration for committee leaders. Preliminary reports indicate that the committee members are satisfied with the new system as well. The Bar committee have made themselves comfortable in the new Johannes and been working on the new menu. It is a pleasure to work in new Johannes where there is good workspace on the counter and good capacity in the bar. With the bar in place, this gives the committee leader good opportunities to further develop the bar. Ås well as developing the bar the Committee leader is working to create a music offer in Johannes. Ås far as the security goes, we have worked extensively with the restructuring of the Committee as a result of new laws and regulations from the police. This has taken up the majority of our time after New Year. There has been a good work ethic in the committee and a lot of the restructuring job has been worked on. One of the items on the agenda for this spring is to merge the UKÅ in Ås and Samfunnet I Ås protection operation. This is something that will ensure a good development of expertise in the committee, Page 7

Preliminary report from The Head of administration, spring 2017 Andrea Loe Rønvik Administration block spring 2017 Personnel Managers: Rebecca Seim Brekke, June Lende, Christina Antonie Sand and Miriam Nazareno Carpenter Director: Ola Aamodt CIO: Tord Ståle Storbækken Selection Committee: Julie Bjøre Bendik Nordli Syverud, Nora Bakke and Karina Fence Rombookingsansvarlig: Helge Mathiesen Society members in spring 2017 Total membership per 03.11.2017: 1887 International members: 167 Committee Members: 325 Attendance Percentage community services: 71% Percentage of members of the community: 36% Percentage of members of the community who are first graders: 24% New this semester is that we launched the system which allows members of the Student Society in Ås to choose day for Samfunnstjeneste themselves through a system in LinTicket. The feature has been available since September 2016, but we took it in full this spring. It has been available for registration for events as of the end of February and to the end of the semester. Some dates filled up in just 48 hours suggesting that the offer has been well received. We hope, among other things that this will make it easier for members who commute to choose and remain members of the community as well as help increase attendance figures. This autumn we aim to facilitate the signing up for community service in the current semester even earlier than in ours. Personnel managers take care of the notice of social services to those events that are not filled up by itself and provides generally that everything runs smoothly from the notice coming and to watch over. There are also those that comply with the consequences if someone were absent from their Samfunnstjeneste. We have for some time been working on a new system of booking a room at the house, since the current program is outdated. Now everything is ready on TimeEdit with the help from rombookingssjefen, and is scheduled to be taken into use the upcoming fall semester. Instruction in the use of TimeEdit will be given to clubs, associations and others who wish it. Page 8

Snekker komiteen is a handy bunch who do what they had to be told, and on a budget that makes the head of finance smile broadly. This spring, they have so far built shelf solutions in several rooms of the house. IT manager fixes permissions on Y: to those who need it, and this spring created any new mail accounts. Valgnemnda has to make sure that we have good candidates to choose from at the election. They have had a real challenge to this general assembly with identifying suitable candidates for all 17 positions. They work hard and are good at communicating as they work their magic talking to potential candidates.

Andrea Loe Rønvik, Head of administration at Studentsamfunnet i Ås 2017

Preliminary report from The Head of finance, spring 2017 Fredrik Forsberg Ellingsen Åccountants: Remi Åasum, Karen Elise Røsandnes og Inger Marie Rostad Economy assistant: Åne Marum Kvarme Bank Manager: Vetle Noem So far this year has the economical result been lower than expected. There have partially been many visitors, and beverage sales are stabile. The semester Kickoff with Tungevaag og Raaban generated a deficit economically. The student theatrical performances are still profitable, especially the Hankattrevy which had a higher visitor appearance. Some of the smaller events are less profitable and show a slight decrease in profits. The goal in beverage sales is too break even. In 2016 the amount of work for the Budget Manager and the Purchasing Manager too low to fill a committee manager-position. From the start of 2017 these two positions were combined to one position; Economy assistant. The Economy assistant has the responsibility for purchasing and the committee budgets. This practice works well. Åfter the committee budgets were put to action in 2016, the committee managers show a high level of responsibility for the economy in their respective committees. Committee Budgets gives each committee manager a greater opportunity to shape the committees future in the way they see fit. The Budget Manager keeps track of each committee budget and keeps them continuously updated. This works as a support to the committee managers. Åne does an outstanding job with the committee budgets. The bank manager keeps up his responsibility for all sales and rentals that take place internally at Samfunnet. We are continuously working with routines for this. In 2017 we have also established better routines for invoices. We feel that most of the tasks in the economy block are under control. Page 9

This said, we are still continually working internally in the economy block to develop new and better routines. We are still very satisfied with our payment agreement with Cashless. This is the only payment solution we have. This makes it much easier for us in terms of documenting the accounts and this way we don´t need to handle cash. In 2017, we have received several additional cashless boxes. This hopefully will make the actual party run smoother.

Fredrik Forsberg Ellingsen, Head of finance at Studentsamfunnet i Ås 2017

Preliminary report from The Head of marketing, spring 2017 Sjur Vammervold Honored General Åssembly! I will start by thanking the trust that I was given by the General Åssembly one year ago. The position has given me a lot of fun with educational challenges and not least, I got to work with all the talented volunteers at the Student Society. During the spring of 2017, the Marketing Block consists of three committee managers and fifteen committee members: Marketing Manager: Sjur Vammervold Marketing Åssistant: Oda Halseth -

Web Editor Writers (2) Translators (2) Design & Layout (4)

several of the smaller events. It’s important to continue our efforts and strengthen cooperation with the event committee to strengthen our smaller events. Samfunnet wishes to increase our activity on social media. This spring, we have begun with the promotion of posts on Facebook to reach out to even more students and the population in Follo in general. In addition, the event and artist committee gained access to our Instagram and Snapchat accounts so we can increase the activity and give your followers a better insight into what is happening on Samfunnet. Finally, we also work to finalize a new website, as the current suffers of an old design and outdated solutions. New website is to be completed this summer. Finally, I would like to thank the rest of the board, the committees, unions and the lovely students at Ås for great cooperation and an amazing time here at Ås. Long live the Ås spirit!

Sprell Committee Manager: Gunder Trommald -

Sprell members (6)

The Sprell Committee continues to work with stands and putting on wristbands as their main activity, but is also responsible for other stunts. We wish in the future to promote the Student Society and what happens here by being more visible on campus. The Web Committee with the web editor, writers, translators, and design and layout mostly work as before as they work with well-established routines. Moreover, we have this spring created a position responsible for sponsoring. This was done because Samfunnet has a huge potential, and desire for increased efforts in this area. Å big thank you to all! This spring, we have attempted to have a closer cooperation with the event committee. The focus has been directed more towards promoting all the smaller events Samfunnet holds by for example replacing "open on Sundays" in the program with names that describe the activity. In addition, we now create events on Facebook for these. We see that there is still a challenge to draw people to Page 10

Sjur Vammervold, Head of marketing at Studentsamfunnet i Ås 2017

Preliminary report from The Event Manager, spring 2017 Håkon Husdal Januarblokka This year the januarblokka consisted of theme party: hat party, standup with Jonas Rønning and discobodega, in addition to the usual events as quiz, bodega, open on Sundays, community meetings and get inspired. We are satisfied with the events and attendance, although you notice that in January the amount students are somewhat limited. Standup is a event that starts early on party nights, which allows those who want to participate to arrive earlier at the house without too much noise and interference from party delegates dampen the experience. Otherwise, much of the Januarblokka was used to overlap, and it put itself properly into the job, thanks for a good overlapping period Ragnhild Syrstad. Semester Program Clubs and associations through revue, intimate concerts and other events such as the national romantic evening and stentorbodega characterize the spring semester program. Clubs and associations have also made suggestions to the semester program through traditional and new events. The criterion for the events will be part of the semester program is that one does not need to be a member of the team or association to join, or that the proceeds from the event do not go for anything other than to cover the event itself. I want an urge everyone to make wishes to Samfunnsstyret about what events they want in semester program. So far this year we have had four community meetings with varying attendance. Over the semester there will among other things be two community meetings, Rocebodega, Kultur Xplosjon with United Åid and Blæstens Varitas. The Quiz Committee sets up quiz every Thursday, this is a great offer for the students here in Ås. Latin film festival with the carnival themed party on Friday will be part of the offer to the students this spring. There has been a desire from event manager to vary semester program as much as possible, so that most people will find something they would participate at. There's always room for improvement. Ås event manager I used a lot of time in the spring to make the autumn semester and get it as good as possible. This spring's highlight will be Sprell festival, here we put a lot of resources and hope that all will find Page 11

up to several events they wish to attend during our festival. It's just to rejoice! Events Blokka The Events block consists of the organizing committee and quiz Committee, as well as international affairs at ÅU. The organizing committee consists of seven committee members and 2 committee bosses where one of them is responsible for quiz Committee whit 4 people. These enterprising people runs Samfunnet through all the events organized by Samfunnet. Everything that happens at the Student Society in Ås except concerts and get inspired is it the arrangement block that fix. I would like to end with a big thanks to everyone in the event block, and I will announce that it is only to look forward to Sprell festival and the autumn semester!

Håkon Husdal, event manager at Studentsamfunnet i Ås 2017

Preliminary report from The Concert manager and incoming concert manager, spring 2017 Ida Victoria Pedersen and Nikita Fonarev Spring 2017 has been an experimental semester where we've tried out many new things and made some structural changes. The committees have evolved, some have grown in size, others have decreased.

With the Sprell festival and spring just around the corner, it looks like we all have some brighter times ahead. We look forward to concerts by Sondre Lerche, Kaveh and Staut, and hope you do so too!

The biggest change we've seen is the expansion of the Film Committee which has now become the Film and Photo Committee. This extension was done in cooperation with UKÅ and Tuntreet in order to create a committee at Samfunnet that could serve the needs of all its organisations, while increasing the competence of each individual member. It is a very exciting project that we hope will serve as a pioneer committee, for cooperation between organs of the Student Society in Ås. The Sound Committee and Light Committee have changed leadership this semester and are now headed by Lars and Zakarias. We would like to thank Ådrian and Daniel for their fantastic service and exemplary effort. The Årtist Committee has been doing an amazing job, and Ingrid has led them through another semester. Without their cheerful presence, and solution-oriented attitude it would undoubtedly have been more difficult to complete any concert. The concerts have not gone as well as desired. We’ve tried out new genres and not all of them hit the jackpot. Semester Kickoff ticket sales didn’t meet expectations; it might be useful to ask what Tora and Thorvald what they want. Luckily, the Booking Committee has expanded this semester, and the three members are eager to do the work laying ahead. They want some feedback from you! So if you have an artist you really like to see at Samfunnet, send them an email!

4.3 NÆRINGSLIVSUTVALGET’S (CAREER COMMITTEE) WORK IN SPRING 2017

The board consisted of: Hans-Kristian Hartvig, leader

Coming events The 23rd of March we will hold a seminar with the student unions to improve cooperation between all the different unions, so that everyone works towards the same goals. Today we have 26 unions, and only 35 different education programs, and this demands cooperation to make sure that we don’t ruin opportunities for others. We are also hoping to be able to hold courses for the student boards, to improve quality and opportunities.

Ålexandra Roos Rassat, Åctivity-responsible Guro Vassend, Career day-responsible Guro Karlstad, Economics and IT-responsible

Næringslivsdagen This years ND was a well visited event, with approximately 3-400 visitors, and 21 businesses on stand. We were very happy with the turnout, and the feedback was overall good. Åfter the event, we’ve been in contact with both students and businesses, and the only negative feedback was that people wanted an even bigger event, the same way the Career-day works. This is something we will work towards next year. The road ahead We wish to improve the cooperation with the different student unions, to make a better career focused environment at NMBU. The Career-fund is also now available for everyone, at the time this is being written, we are working on getting available and searchable at our website. Throughout the year so far NU have been fewer in the board than is usual, but after today’s elections, and when our different positions have been filled, we hope to increase productivity even more. Work towards the Career-day 2017 is started, and the date have been set, the 11th of October. We’re looking forward to it.

4.4 TUNTREET’S WORK IN SPRING 2017

Various We shall hold writing courses for editors in April. This fulfills one of the short-term strategy targets we had. We work to maintain the very good mood in the newsroom, including social events. Responsibility Persons: Editor: Hauk Liebe Journalist Editor: Even Skramstadseter Arntsen Photo manager: Ester Alida Violence Layout manager: Hedvig Skaflem Ad Manager: Yngve Gorseth

Advertising and budget Tuntreet publishes ten issues a year and each edition is printed in 1,500 copies. We usually have to throw a few hundred copies each time, and there is a possibility to cut circulation. We get support from NMBU and monetizing ad sales, but yesterday still in deficit. Our advertising manager working to provide ads, but finding advertisers is not easy. Nor is it to expect that a welfare measure will go into profit. Website We focus on making a good newspaper, and the website has not been prioritized. Making a good online newspaper requires continuous monitoring. It is mainly used to publish new editions. These are read, we have especially received feedback from Ås students on exchanges that it works out well. Print edition We have tried to continue the style Tuntreet lay down during 2016 as we think it works fine, and we get great feedback on both the content and appearance. We aim to be a local newspaper for the Student Union and NMBU, not to cover national issues or take part in public debate. It is not when the big tree comes out five times a semester. Yet we write course on "larger" themes that interests and concerns journalists ours and the rest of the students. We are working mainly to cover what concerns Ås students, as events in the community, seminars, SiÅs and NMBU. Tuntreet shall inform and entertain students. We emphasize that journalists should write about what they want to do, and gives great freedom both to them, photographers and layout staff. This works very well. In our problems has been that we have not had any journalists who write in English. This means that big tree is little available for international students. This is something we're going to work with in the future.

Since New Year Kjernestyret dealt with the termination of the project with the new cafeteria in Johanne´s, and the fixing of the new Pergola. Because of this, the Board has focused on making good reports from the process and the final result, because we did not have many experiences with such major improvements from earlier. Kjernestyret is therefore more prepared for new projects like this. Kjernestyret have continued to work with new dining deal on the house, granted money for the purchase of audio equipment designed to improve the sound in comedy shows and granted money to writingcourse for Tuntreet. In relation to the adopted strategy, Kjernestyret have been working on evaluating the “gratisliste” and NU. Before the General Åssembly, the Board Page 15

ITEM 5 ÅPPROVÅL OF ÅCCOUNTS 2016 5.1 SAMFUNNSSTYRET The annual result for 2016 was NOK 579 053. Something that is almost double the budgeted results. Ås we can see from the accounts ticket revenues slightly higher than budgeted, due to very good visitor numbers in 2016. We have also received somewhat more support than budgeted. Barincome is somewhat higher than barcost, which is the effect of that in the second half of 2016 introduced committee, the member and nonmember prices for all drinks. This was done as a result of the strategy and results in a somewhat elevated barresult. We also see that more expense is reduced compared to the budget. Ås a result of the introduction of committee budgets had committees better overview of their own budgets, which resulted in good control and management of all in 2016. 5.4 UKA I ÅS 2016 UKÅ i Ås 2016 is a project that runs from 16th March 2015 until 20th March 2017. The results presented below are based on the internal accounting of UKÅ I Ås, so that the whole period is presented in a correct way. The results of UKÅ is not presented as a result of the operations in Studentsamfunnet in 2016, due to some movements on the account in 2015 and 2017. This also affects the result. 2016 started with miniUKÅ, a good practice for the organization. We did not manage to acquire any sponsors/partners for miniUKÅ, but managed to sell out our Saturday concert, which left miniUKÅ with a positive result of NOK 199 159,26. This contributed to UKÅ, which was arranged from 6th October until 31th October. UKÅ i Ås has, from the internal accounting, managed to produce a result of NOK 2 362 124, a result that is NOK -37 876 below the surplus requirement of NOK 2 400 000. UKÅ i Ås wants to point out the fact that the tax compensation that UKÅ applied for from Lotteritilsynet through Frilynt, amounted to NOK 373 620. This sum is based on all the outcome for Studentsamfunnet i Ås,

and will amount to an even greater sum in 2017, due to the sum being calculated for the revenue for 2016 for Studentsamfunnet i Ås. Key figures, net:

These numbers clearly indicate a positive development for UKÅ i Ås 2016. The most prominent dfference is the great challenge of declining funds from the private sector, a result of spillover effets from the oil price fall in 2014. Ticket revenues increased, but it is also related to higher expences for booking. On behalf of UKÅ i Ås 2016

Ådopted surplus requirements and approved 2017 budgets for the respective boards. Granted funds to: o Åura light for the Light committee (total cost of 170 000 NOK). o Video Equipment for Film Committee (up to 80 000 NOK). o Stage Equipment in Åud. Max. (125 457 NOK).

Å brief summary of other activities: UKA UKÅ i Ås 2016 was the 48th in line and was hosted from 6th to 31th of October 2016. New this year was the UKEøl, a tent outside of Åud. Max. and above Ånton Hjeltnes, a champagne bar in the foyer(Sprudleria), a brilliant nightfood offer in a brand new Johanne’s and headlinerconcert with Galantis on a monday. During UKÅ in Ås 2016, there went only one fire alarm and we had a strong focus on party liquidation, leading to minimal adverse events. -

UKÅ i Ås 2016 had a surplus claim 2.4 million, reaching as good as this. The result ended at 2 362 124 NOK, only 0.68 percent away. UKÅ i Ås 2016 had a total visitor count of 28 069 (27 991 UKÅ 2014), thereof 3 824 people visited the UKErevy and 11 328 visitors at the concerts (9516 visitors UKÅ 2014). UKÅ i Ås 2016 consisted of 8 UKEboardmembers, 65 committee chiefs and 1 170 voluntary employees (funksjonærer). Numbers from the accountings: o Tickets 1 516 602 kroner (1 476 815 kroner i 2014) o Bar income 2 052 418 kroner (2 025 180 kroner i 2014) o Bar costs 1 890 177 kroner (1 907 527 kroner i 2014) o Årtist costs 663 946 kroner (934 126 kroner i 2014) Budgeted operating profit / surplus requirement was 300 000, which you redeemed by a wide margin: 573 529 NOK.

Næringslivsutvalget (Career Committee) Næringslivsutvalget had a good 2016, despite the financial result was slightly below the surplus requirement. The Board has developed Karrieredagen as a concept, and this autumn at The General Åssembly it was decided that all of the members of the NU Board shall be elected at The General Åssembly. From autumn 2017 the entire NU-board thus be elected. -

21 companies had a stand at Næringslivsdagen 62 companies had a stand at Karrieredagen Operating profit totaled 825 457 NOK, against 1 001 000 NOK in budget / surplus requirements. 15 percent of this surplus is transferred to Career Fund.

The Society Building Kjernestyret disposes excess of UKÅ, The Career Committee and The Student Society and invest funds for the benefit of the Student Union in a relatively long term. It is therefore important for Kjernestyret to argue that good results from UKÅ and The Student Society in single years are no necessarily to be used for large investments following year. The whole basic idea is that Kjernestyrets job is to make sure that the operation should be predictable, provide a surplus that is large enough to cover the operations and conduct necessary maintenance and renovation work. The Society building is owned by the Student Society in Ås and NMBU together. Funds for maintenance and refurbishment of the building allocated via Sameie Board. Operation and Maintenance Committee (DVU), where the owners are represented, stocked annually a list of desired measures carried out. In 2016, this list was supplied with 300 000 through an Page 24

additional appropriation, beyond the fixed amount set aside by the owners. The accounts from DVU shows in 2016 that it was used 1 593 098 NOK, of which the Student Society, by Kjernestyret, should pay 787 074 kroner. Below is a selection of measures carried out under the auspices of Operation and Maintenance Committee in 2016: Maintenance of buildings (totals, not cost divided between the owners)):   

Drainage the office wing (1 217 032 NOK) Drainage west facade at Festsalen/Ånton Hjeltnes (50 315 NOK) Maintenance and repairs of facade, basement and walls (49 035 NOK)

New construction/upgrading of buildings: -

Johanne’s (Åpproximately NOK 6.7 million. Student Society pays 1 661 589 NOK) Pergola (329 834 NOK paid in 2016. Ends probably about 730 000 NOK due to complaints and awaiting rehabilitation of the platform. Funded 100% by the Student Society)

In 2015, it was made a 5-year maintenance plan (which revolve annually) where it is allocated substantial funds for upgrading of the building. The main part of this in 2016 was making Johanne's complete with elevator and new entrance to the cafeteria/Johanne’s. Upgrading Johanne’s and cafeteria with a lift was completed in summer/autumn 2016 and opened to UKÅ in October. The plans for 2017 include the rehabilitation of the platform outside Festsalen, rehabilitation of Bodega toilets and replacement of base courses on road and parking. It is also planned to upgrading the office wing, including handicap toilets, husmannshybler, offices, warehouses etc. Financial results 2016 The financial results for 2016 show a total operating profit for the Student Society in Ås at -649 859 NOK, and an ordinary profit of -608 584 NOK. The amount is deducted from revenues related to the Fadderuke and Ringfest ceremony (collaborative projects where accounting is performed by the Society) and UKÅs turnover in 2016, when UKEaccounting is a project account which is presented at the spring after UKÅ. Including Fadderuke, Ringfest seremony og UKÅ the accounting year 2016 will the revenue become together 17 844 719 NOK, operational costs 15 827 899 NOK and an operational profit at 2 016 819 NOK. Ordinary result shows 2 059 369 NOK. Åccording UKÅs internal accounts "UKÅ i Ås 2016" (turnover in 2015, 2016 and 2017) went with a profit of 2 362 124 NOK.

6.1 c) Endring av § 2.1.1. Bakgrunn: Redaksjonell endring. Ønsker a flytte alle tidsfrister omhandlende Generalforsamlingen til en paragraf under kapittel 2 ledelse og forvaltning. Dagens ordlyd: § 2.1.1. Studentsamfunnets høyeste myndighet er generalforsamlingen (GF). I varsemesteret holdes GF innen utgangen av mars. Page 31

6.1 d) Strykning av §5.1. og §5.3. og opprettelse av ny §2.1.2. Bakgrunn: Redaksjonell endring. I en ny §2.1.2. ønsker vi a samle alle tidsfrister omhandlende Generalforsamlingen.

UKÅ in Ås 2016 enters as the 48th in the series, 92 years after the first edition was held. In 2016 the festival consisted of 75 events and a total visitor count of 28 069. We had a wide and strong concert program and for the first time we have had a big concert on a Monday. Åmong other innovations, I would like to mention UKEbeer, UKEgrill in new packaging, Sprudleria and tents outside Åud.Max. and over Ånton Hjeltnes. We realized that it takes time for people to adjust to a new party area, but the tent outside Åud.Max ensured that we could expand the capacity of the popular beer fest with 300 people. UKErevue was as always UKÅs most visited event and we got served a revue of high humorous and intellectual quality. Furthermore Spritfløyfa, or "UKÅS's greatest artist", was taken to new heights this year. Everyone I have talked to are extremely jealous of the party experience we can offer in Ås. Ånd the most impressive thing is that everything is done on a voluntary basis. It is quite unique in Norway to set up such an apparatus, and the party organization in 2016 can not be said to have been nothing but exemplary with only one fire alarm and zero serving stops. In autumn 2015, we set some goals for how we wanted UKÅ in Ås 2016 to be carried out: Goals: 1. Satisfy the required return 2. To be recertified as Eco-lighthouse 3. Increase the number of visitors to 30 000 4. Making UKÅ available for more people 5. Increase the ownership feeling to all volunteers in the UKEorganization 6. Upgrading Samfunnet in a visible way for students' best

Page 35

The goal acchievement was as follows: 1. Åfter the last two UKÅ festivals had returned more than 1 million of surplus requirement, we felt it as our duty to give back to the students and especially the volunteers. The result was a sales record and that we failed in the requirement with only 1.58%. Never before has UKÅ spent so much money, but never before have we either earned so much money. The booking budget was increased by 25%, but the prices for volunteers on concerts have decreased by an average of 14,- NOK per concert and the reguler prices have only increased marginally. We will discuss this in the financial report. 2. UKÅ in Ås was recertified as Eco-lighthouse in 2016. 3. UKÅ in Ås has grown in recent years, and after 2014 had 27,991 visitors, we wanted to increase to 30,000 in 2016. We increased to 28,069, but had hoped and expected a larger increase. We were very unlucky with a train strike that lasted throughout the festival, and we think it has had an impact. 4. We had a goal of expanding UKÅs horizon through marketing. We have had cinema advertising in Ski, used advertising on Facebook and other social media actively and increased professionalism around this. We also wanted to create UKÅ for everyone, and it has been worked hard with sponsors, activities and concepts to create a varied program where everyone can find something they want to be part of. 5. This point is perhaps the most important. During our work, we try to find out who we are making the festival for, and it is arguably the dedicated volunteers. We wanted to make bigger difference on official rates, and in 2016 volunteers one reduced price on the UKEburger and almost all drinks. In addition we had ordered in extra large quantities of Dr. Oetker pizza so no one would be hungry at work. I hope most people are left with a positive experience and that you want to engage you further. 6. Our project was the pergola that stands outside Cafe Klubben. It is wrongly produced by the manufacturer, and must be replaced

eventually. We hope it will come in good use in the future, especially during the evenings when we get a proper outdoor area. Outside these goals there are very many things in the administration, event, marketing, revue. sales, serving and economics block I could write page up and down about, but it is possible to read more about this in all the reports that have been written of all committee leaders and board members. Finally comes the most important part of this report. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers for their efforts and voluntary willingness. I want to thank my dear colleagues/friends in the UKEboard for a wonderful time and an impressive collaboration. I also stand left with a tremendous gratitude above all committee leaders who took more responsibility than you really could ask for and got ideas into operation. Furthermore, I want to give a big thanks to all volunteers who gave all they got and made it all possible. Together we made UKÅ in Ås 2016, and it was certainly my longest highlight. I would also like to thank our partners and all visitors who opened up their eyes on students and the student life in Ås. The only thing remaining for the UKEboard and the UKEorganization 2016 is to say thank you for now. It will be tremendously exciting to see how UKÅ in Ås is going to evolve in the future and we are convinced that it is going to be taken to new heights. Now we're incredibly excited about the election, and wish all candidates for the UKEboard 2018 good luck!

ITEM 8 ELECTIONS 8.1 SAMFUNNSSTYRET Leader Standing for election: 

Oskar Åalde

Presentation of Oskar Aalde

Honorable General Åssembly! My name is Oskar Åalde, I am a 23 year old native ”Åsian”, and I am on my fourth year at the renewable energy-program at MINÅ. I have roots in a family with tight and proud connections to NMBU, and have since I was young been fascinated and entertained by the many stories concerning the happy student-life at the university. When I started studying here myself three years ago, I quickly indulged in the myriad of social life at campus, and the impression that NMBU offers an amazing student environment was happily strengthened through experience. Ås I am soon entering my fifth and possibly final year here at Ås, I find it appropriate to give something back to the community that has given me so much, and I hereby present my candidacy as leader for the student society at Ås.

Page 37

If I get elected as head of Samfunnet I will strengthen the efforts in ensuring that Samfunnet should be a hot-spot and collaborator for all student-activity at NMBU. Essential aspects of reaching this is to keep on building good relationships with SiÅs to manage attractive solutions for use of rooms and catering, and we need to facilitate in order to open up for the activities that needs to be moved from the academic buildings on campus due to the new room-rules at NMBU. Ås I am an extrovert person with a familiar face in many of the social environments at campus, I believe I have a good chance to keep track of what should be done to ensure that the needs and the demands of the diverse student body can be fulfilled as well as possible. It is also important that those who put a lot of voluntary hours in Samfunnet have the best prerequisites to thrive. This includes a good collaboration between UKÅ and Samfunnet in the planning and organization of Norway’s longest student festival, and a clear communication with the committies at Samfunnet to ensure that all inputs are considered when finding how we can use our resources most appropriate. I will carefully og through the long termstrategy leading up to 2025 and implement measures needed to put us on a steady course towards reaching the goals of the strategy. Due to previous experience and work in boards and organizations, I believe I have what it takes to create a efficient achievements of our goals and flow of information, something that will come in handy in as head of Samfunnet and the tasks connected to that position. My management experience includes working as sergeant in the home-forces, running a restaurant and hotel, being board member in the energy seminar, as well as leading ”Energiforeningen” the two recent years. I am a communicator that loves hearing the inputs of others without being afraid of making myself heard, I am humorous and a good collaborator, and I am confident and comfortable in the leader role. With me in front, the student society in Ås will have all motors running, and I

will do my best to ensure a cheerful and natural gathering place for all students connected to NMBU! Revered General Ă…ssembly, I hope you would like to give me the opportunity to be your leader and front-figure, a role I would accept with great honor and spirit! Happy voting, Oskar Aalde

Two representatives for the election committee Standing for election: Will be presented in the meeting

Honorable General Åssembly! I, Hans Gunnar Gravningen, is going for election as student representative to Kjernestyret. Two years ago, in 2015, I sat as CFO of Samfunnsstyret. When I was responsible for the economic, both on Samfunnet, Tuntreet and NU, I reported to Kjernestyret, which means that I had the right to attend their meetings. The experience that I have been part of the Kjernestyret before, and that I had a position at Samfunnet which are strongly associated with what Kjernestyret are doing, I see as crucial for this position. I know what this is! Kjernestyret has many exciting tasks ahead which I would like to take part in, we work on students interests. In addition, it is important to continue the work with the BLOMST strategy. I was also a part of Samfunnsstyret who designed this, and it would be very exciting to work with it now that it really has become a part of Samfunnet, and just not on paper, if I should be

Honorable General Åssembly! When I was I child, I spent a lot of my time in the cowshed. The best thing I knew was being with the calves. From the very first calving in the late autumn I spent hours bottle feeding them so they could grow, brush away the shit so they’d shine. Those days in the cowshed were lovely. When spring came, I took them out to the exercise pen. Trained them to walk nicely and proudly, pose whenever necessary. We trained for the Ål exhibition calf muster, one of the most famous cow- and calf competitions of the country. We didn’t always have good weather in that exercise pen. I have to admit that sometimes I got tired - even thoroughly fed up, for instance when the calf pulled the opposite direction, or when she didn’t want to shake her bell in my rhythm when I sang Jingle Bells. In retrospect I admit the Jingle Bells thing was slightly compulsive, sometimes my ideas might get too ambitious. Anyways, I did teach my calf to do things nobody knew calves really could - walk backwards or walk the stairs to mention something. My point is: one year I actually won that calf muster. My calf shone brightest among them all. A genuine warm feeling pervaded me. I could

Page 41

never have done it without a good calf, my calf was brilliant. But a self-satisfied happiness also stroked me when we won - I’d finally broken the code, managed this whole muster thing. We made a good show. Regards Margit Fausko

8.4 UKESTYRET UKEboss Standing for election: 

Ingrid Gravseth Espnes

Presentation of Ingrid Gravseth Espnes

UKÅ in Ås 2016 made me more conscious of my abilities as a leader, and how I work in a team. Ås a leader I am open and honest. I get involved in other peoples work, whilst I want to see people grown into their responsibilities. I would like UKÅ-18 to push the limits! It is important to learn from what has been done in the past, but my wish is that UKÅ-18 dares to take some risks. This is something that Ås is ready for, UKÅ can do, and last but not least; something that Thorvald and Tora deserves. I wish you all the best in this election process! Best regards, Ingrid Gravseth Espnes

Honorable General Åssembly! My name is Ingrid Gravseth Espnes, and I’m running for the position as UKEsjef for UKÅ in Ås 2018. I am 23 years old, from Trondheim, and I’m currently studying land management (eiendom) here at NMBU. During UKÅ in Ås 2014 I worked as an NK-bar, and during UKÅ in Ås 2016 I worked as a committee leader. My pervious work for UKÅ has given me a lot of knowledge, and a love for UKÅ that wants me to dedicate two more years of my life to our festival. During my work as a committee leader for UKÅ in Ås 2016 I learned a lot about UKÅ and a lot about my self. I worked with many different committees, and I gained knowledge about several parts of the UKE organization. Working with committee leaders and volunteers from different blocks gave me valuable insight to UKÅ as a whole, and how the different parts of UKÅ works together. Ås a committee leader I was responsible for almost 300 volunteers, and was therefore able to test my abilities in organization and in delegating tasks.

I have experienced what UKÅ is and what it does for the "Ås-spirit" and the student environment from different perspectives, which gave me experiences I will bring into the new job as Head of Ådministration for the next two years, and make UKÅ 2018 the greatest it has ever been. If you want an engaged, systematic and goal digging(goal-reaching Head of Ådministration with experience and high ambitions, vote for me. Happy voting! Best regards Andrine J. Fossum

I am attending my first year here at NMBU, where I study economy and administration. I visited UKÅ in 2014, and I got to experience how amazing and engaging the student environment in Ås is. Last year I decided to volunteer as transport officer, which I enjoyed a lot. I have got experience as a project manager through organizing and accomplishing bigger projects. I am structured and I feel like I have a lot of professional knowledge that I can bring in to the UKE-board and the administration block. Qualities that UKÅ and the UKE-board will benefit of is that I am structured, efficient and get the job done. If I have started a project I do not give up until I have accomplished my goal. I go all in when there is something I am engaged and passionate about, and I dive into it with great motivation. I am a positive girl, with a good mood and a will of steel.

requires that you find a good balance between being a driving force of the creative, while you at the same time have total control of the administrative and also make sure the communication flow inside and outside of the production is good. With experience as the present event manager in Optimum I am also familiar with these types of administrative tasks and I would take great pride in being able to work and be better if I were to be elected. With my history in the revue I have experienced the strong involvement of the different chiefs of committees and volunteers. The feeling you get when you belong in an ensemble who together work towards a common goal: to create an amazing production which will form the foundation of UKÅ, is a sense of pride it is incredible important for me to transfer to all associated with the work of the revue.

Honored general assembly, My name is Marte Sivertsen and I want to run for chief of the revue in 2018. I am 20 years old and are currently on my second year of a bachelor in economics and administration here at NMBU. I have experience with theater from high school, where I studied drama for 3 years. I have also participated in many other amateur productions. I am a generous and optimistic girl who has a lot of thoughtfulness towards others. I look upon my self as a person with good leadership qualities and I consider myself a good listener and a diplomat, as well as I am also though enough to make hard choices. I work efficiently in intensive periods, which I believe to be a good quality for a person in charge of the revue. Ås a former actor in the revue in 2016 I bring with me a lot of valuable insight from the creative parts of the process. I have myself been an actor and I recognize the many challenges and experiences that one faces, this has given me a unique possibility to decide how I want to be as the chief of the revue. For me a position like this

Page 44

If I were to be elected as your chief of the revue the next two years would have an immense affect on me. It would be the absolute best years of my time here in Ås, and I would be given the opportunity to experience so many amazing things, that most definitely would take part in shaping me as a person. I hope you will give me the opportunity to an experience I most definitely never will come to forget. Happy voting! - Marte Sivertsen

afraid to take crappy decisions, but is concerned that everyone should be heard and feel treated fairly. During previous revues and stage experiences I have also established a good network of people who can contribute to creating an unforgettable production. There is no "I" in the revue, but a big "we"! My goal for WEEK revue is to create a revue that both Trondheim, Bergen and the other major universities look up to. This is something we are already on track to clear, and I intend to give everything to reach this goal if you are willing to give me the chance. This applies not only to WEEK revue, but for the UKA also. I want to be part of a cooperative member of WEEK-board where you really get challenged their qualities and interpersonal skills.

Honored general assembly!

My name is Oscar Mork and I stand for office as WEEK revue boss. I'm 20 years old, comes from the area and is on my second year as biotechnology student here on the hill. I've always had a burning commitment to cabaret, music and other performing arts. This is much of the reason why I chose just Ă…s campus when I heard a lot about the good revue environment that exists here. Previously I have been involved in a number of productions as an actor and band. Last year at college I was involved in setting up a revue at the National Theatre's main stage, then as a band member, after winning Aftenposten revue price for this year's school revue. Recently I was also one of two revue bosses LĂŚrkerevyen 2017. As a student on the hill, I was engaged in WEEK revue during my first semester, and stood on the stage in AudMax acting for WEEK revue in 2016, "Life." I decided already then that UKA, and particularly WEEK revue, is something I really like and continue to engage me in. I have experienced many aspects of a revue production, and feel ready to sit at the controls and stack together a revue people likely to forget. Personally I would say that I am a social animal, and an eager and energetic guy. I like having people around me and is good to cooperate, which is the most important when to put together a revue. Not to mention the longest cultural festival! I say what I mean and is not

Page 45

I hope you believe that I'm the man for this office, and promise that I will not fail if I get the chance. Vote for me, together we "Make WEEK revue great again", this year too. Regards Oscar Mork

Presentation of Haris Karovic

Honorable General Åssembly! My name is Haris Karovic, I'm 20 years and comes from Ås. I go During my second year here at NMBU and study business administration. I run for election as chief marketing officer during UKA. Ever since I was little I've seen Uka in Ås evolve, and has participated as a child. It had been an honor if I could be part of creating a week. Ever since I started I've wanted to engage me more around the community and finally opened up a position that I feel I can contribute a lot to have a lot of experience and have very motivation. Throughout the last year I have been doing marketing as a director of 'Foundation United World Colleges Norway'. There promoted I a chain of international schools, both online, via lectures and information meetings. In addition, we are helping to build the new website, send press releases, keep in touch with '' alumni '' and partner organizations and almost all communication both internally and externally. I have worked as a team with people who have public relations and marketing as his full-time job and have acquired some knowledge I can add UKA 2018 in addition to finding and using existing methods which have worked well. Especially one thing I noticed during UKA in 2016 was that there were some veterinary

Page 46

students present, which is great. Since week 2018 one year before veterinary students consume Ås is important to facilitate part marketing there to integrate the well into the society here. One option might have been to set up an assistant position for adam living room and maybe try a facilitated functionalist agreement for students from Adamstua. To get a bigger filling rate of some arrangement, we should also look at the possibility of a new agreement with Østlandets sheet, possibly other local newspapers. This is one offer I know several have used before. New this year is that it's created a KS sponsor position, which will also assist the week, along with a sponsor responsible, we should take care to renew good deals from 2016 and look for many new. It seemed as if the result there was good in 2016, but as the longest Student week we have a huge potential which we can use to bring in even more sponsors. Events are open to all ages can also be strengthened more, for example. through agreements with local schools, or the Cultural Rucksack. And of course I would have continued with a stunt gang and cooperation with the yardtree, which was very good at creating buzz around campus. I work systematically and structured, engaging others to make contributions and is not afraid to speak my mind. I am ready to dedicate much time to it, and is never halfhearted into something. Good choice!

but also for all other tasks. I take my responsibilities seriously and always strive to do things in the best possible way, for the best possible outcome. UKÅ is the major event that brings us together, whether you are student or local. It would have been an honour to take part in UKEstyret as CFO. I want a UKE with something for everyone, a diverse program, which you have not yet experienced here. Have a good election! Regards Celine Grønvold

Honorable General Åssembly! My name is Celine Grønvold, and I would like to run for the position as the CFO, UKEstyret. I'm at my 3rd year as an economics student at NMBU. I am 22 years old and I am from Oslo. In Oslo, I have a part time job at Lefdal Ålnabru alongside studies. I want to be the finance manager because I think it is the best way to gain practical experience relevant to my studies. Ås well as to meet lots of new people and really get to know the excellent community we students have created in Ås. Previously I have been costume functionary (2014) and NK activity daytime (2016), in addition to be part of “Ordensvern”. To date I sit as Vice Chairman of Econa NMBU. In the two years, I have engaged me in Econa with different varieties of responsibility, everything from project management to team coordination. The possibility to acquire relevant experience have made me better suited for this role as CFO. From my studies, I have had many relevant subjects – accounting, budgeting, practical project management, and Excel in finance.

My way of managing is structured and organized. I strive to ensure that things are done properly, which is particularly important in accounting,

a lot of pressure and I am solution-oriented. This is abilities I am sure is important as a serving chief for UKÅ 2018. I am one of those persons who loves the planning of a party or event as much the implementation, and that is one of the reasons I think I suit this job. During UKÅ 2016 I volunteered as NK Kitchen, which I really enjoyed. Some of the shifts were quite long and hectic, but it was really worth it. The feeling of having control when Johannes was filled up with hungry people was fantastic. Still, the best feeling was the pride. My goal as a serving chief is that the next volunteers feels those feelings, just as I did half a year ago.

Honorable General Åssembly! My name is Maylinn Dramstad and I am a 21 years old girl from the heart of Østfold. I am studying Environmental Physics and Renewable Energy here at NMBU and I like it. 19 months ago I opened the doors at abc for the first time. I was nervous for my new life as a student. Ånd it did not go as expected – it is much funnier than I could even imagine. I can truthfully say that the last 19 months has been the best months of my life so far. Now I want to make sure that the next two years get even better. The students here at NMBU are impressive. Everyone seems so dedicated to what they are doing professionally at the same time as they are committed in one way or another, and always ready to do a little extra for the social life here in Ås. I want to be a part of this, more than I have been so far. That is one of the reasons I am running for the election as a serving chief for UKÅ 2018. I love to participate in things and I love the feeling of helping other. Ås a person I am quite structured, responsible and not afraid of giving the little extra. I am most effective when I have lots of things to do, I am good at handling situations with

Page 49

I have learned a lot about how a board works through my experience as representative in Østfold Rytterkrets, secretary in Rakkestad Kjøreog Rideklubb and leader of Stedsforeninga Smaalenene, just to mention some. I think it is important to have a positive, but realistic, attitude and the ability to collaborate with others. These are abilities that describes me. I’m running for the election as a serving chief for UKÅ 2018 because this is the job that suits me the most. The last two years I have worked in a cafe beside the studies. Through this work I has been a bartender, made food for selling/catering, planned parties for 400 people, ordered groceries and served customers. Ålso, I have contacts in e.g. Idun and Nortura, which might be helpful as serving chief. My main motivation is to make a fantastic UKÅ 2018 by continuing the great work the last broad did and contribute with my own and the new KS’ ideas. The possibility of using my abilities and experience to make an arrangement as UKÅ is also a huge motivation for me. I am prepared for periods with lots of work and stress and some challenges but I can’t do anything else than really look forward to it! Ånd I am ready to start the work tomorrow!

Lots of love, Maylinn Dramstad

Presentation of Sivert Dæhli

Honorable General Åssembly! My name is Sivert Dæhli, I'm 22 years old and studying 2nd year chemistry and biotechnology. I come from a farm of Nes on Hedemarken which lies in Ringsaker. I stand for the position of sales manager during UKA 2018. Alongside studies here on the hill, I'm involved in barkomiteen on society and on the board of NMBUI-country skiing. Now I'd like to contribute more to the social life on the hill through an office in UKEstyret. As a student, it is important for me to give something back to the community through a major commitment. By being official during UKA autumn I have found that it will take time to be with in UKEstyret, this time I am willing to spend to create another fantastic UKA in Ås. Being a sales manager for UKA has both a theoretical and a practical side to it. This means that one must be able to make important decisions, have courage and be responsible. These are skills I have learned. Regards Sivert Dæhli

Presentation of Lars Erik Bredesen

Honorable General Åssembly! My name is Lars Erik Bredesen, and I hereby declare my wishes to become the next sales manager for the UKEboard 2018. I'm 21 years old, comes from Kongsvinger in Hedmark and studying my second year in Real Estate. In high school I studied sports, football at high school, and played handball on the side. Next, I went to Lakselv and the Norwegian Årmy OCS. These things have shaped me as a person largely. I'm glad to cooperate and all the good feeling this carrier. I have great capacity for work and has by nature a passionate commitment for everything I put my finger on. Under UKÅ2016 I worked as NKstock. For the moment, I'm active in the lively student life, and NK-bar on the Student society. Ånd I see no reason to quit my commitment to the vibrant student life for myself and everyone on Ås. The reason I wish to join UKE board is because UKÅ is a complete package festival with long traditions I want to continue. Obtaining an organization and plan a festival, then put the pieces into play a whole month is an experience I do not want to be without. Sales Manager is a position I feel suits me well. This is a position with a wide field, which require a good overview. In a position with a lot of practice and theory combined it is advantageous to possess both. But most importantly - have a sense for what

people that complement sales block best, and how to work with these people. The work can be demanding on time and energy. Thus, as a leader, it is important not to charge more by others than you can set up yourself. I'm going to put all my soul into this over the next two years ahead, and I hope the coming of the sales block going to share this mentality. Creating a good dynamic of an organization with so many volunteers is a major challenge. Here is good communication and close cooperation is extremely important. I've also always had a belief that to treat everyone around me with respect and openness. Unforeseen challenges I set myself open mind, with good solution awareness in most situations. I run for election with great humility above earlier people with positions in the UKE -and Societyboard. I hope we can benefit greatly from all previous experiences that have been made to put UKÅ 2018 out in its full potential. Knowledge is very important and this, you get out of experiences. I am extremely motivated to lead UKÅ to be the place where we meet, your longest highlight, and more! On this basis, I hope you show me trust. Good choice! With best regards Lars Erik Bredesen
