10.1 Samfunnsstyret
A lot happened for me here in the fall of 2017. I joined the fraternity life, and a committee at the Student Society by becoming av part of the security committee, even before I had my first student community service. Quickly I understood that the security committee was something that I really enjoyed working with. To have the opportunity to cooperate with others who also worked with during party nights, as well to have the opportunity to talk with the guests at the house, gave me much. Until January 2019 I worked as a security guard, and after that I continued in the security committee as responsible for guards during party nights.

Honored General Assembly! My name is Andreas Thorshaug Røang. I am 23 years of age, from Nes I Hedmark, and am on my 4. year studying Property law. I hereby stand for election as Bodegasjef at the Student Society in Ås. I stared my student life her in Ås the fall 2017, and like most of the students here I got introduced to the Student Society in Ås through Fadderuka. The Student Society was something that I loved with parties in the Bodega, Rosehagen, and concerts in Aud.Max and last but not least Johannes as
It was clear to me that I had found something that I really enjoyed being a part of, and in January 2020 I became the Committee Chairman of the security committee. In this position I had the joy of meeting a huge part of all the wonderful students that take responsibility the keep the Student Society in Ås running, in the best possible way. I have learned such an amazing amount about the student society, cooperation, social relations and last but not least how much the Student Society means for all the students in Ås. I wish to take everything that I have learnt from all current and former Committee Chairmen and the Student society’s board to further develop the already amazing Student society Thorvald & Thora have. I hope you all give med the possibility to do so.

Honored General Assembly! My name is Miranda Dørum, I am 24 years old and currently doing my fourth year in biology. I am an engaged and social person who, ever since I arrived at Agraren, have wound different positions to keep me occupied. From a committee member to associations and Student democracy, I have learned how giving it is with engaging days can become. I have met new people, challenged myself in new ways, last but not least, being a part of shaping the student environment for both myself and other students. The last project I was working with, has been as a head of the activity committee at UKA i Ås 2020. Together with two other students, I have formed the program for UKA which
includes everything that happened at Studentsamfunnet during october this year, with the exception of concerts and revue. October has come to an end and my time as Head of a committee is over, but I am not ready to settle down and relax. I am certainly not ready to start thinking about my masters. I am a person who loves being out where things are happening, and being able to affect people around me and their days. As I have been working with a festival in 2020, I have been challenged in ways I never thought would happen, with everything we planned was under the influence of a pandemic. Because of this work, I have gained irreplaceable experience which I really hope I can put into use at Samfunnet as well. With a complete UKEorganisation to take a position to, and other external suppliers you have to be in close contact with, I have learned to cooperate and communicate well with others. I have also learned to be more confident and resolve conflicts as they appear. After numerous hours at Samfunnet, both as a party participant and while working, I have learned a lot about the operations around at the house and what the general public enjoy in the form of events. As Head of event I will do my very best to keep a good cooperation with the other Heads in The Board of Samfunnet and the Committee Heads to develop a socially relevant, entertaining and including semester program for all students in Ås.

Dear General Assembly! My name is Maren Helene Sævold, I am 23 years old, and currently studying my second year of economics at NMBU. I am running for head of administration at Samfunnet. When I arrived in Ås a year and a half ago, I jumped headfirst into the vibrant student life. Since then, I have had the pleasure of taking part in different areas of the student life at Ås, like volunteering for UKA, being class representative and a representative at the student council, as well as 1st soprano in the girls’ choir IVAR. For the past year I have had the pleasure of being employed as husmann (combination of caretaker and keyholder) at Samfunnet. Every day I get to observe how important the work Samfunnet does as an arena for the
vibrant, social life for students at Ås. After living at Samfunnet for a year, I am left with zeal for all the work that is put into the operation of Samfunnet, and with a desire to contribute even more myself. The job that has been the most rewarding is without a doubt the work at Samfunnet, where I have gained an insight into the running of Samfunnet. I have learned how important it is to have a positive attitude, be solution-oriented and willing to put in the work needed. I am also left with a large network both at Samfunnet and SiÅs, something I believe will come in handy in the work in the administration. I really enjoy having a lot to do, and that’s why I’m convinced that I will thrive as head of administration. I am a fast learner, work in a structured way, but – perhaps most importantly – will. As a person, I’m quite positive, but I’m not afraid to fuss when needed. I may also be impatient at times, but I make up for it by getting things done. I am ready to put in great effort and many hours of work for Thorvald and Tora. I hope you will give me the trust and opportunity to do so.

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Trude Skymoen Juvkam, and I hereby stand for election as Head of Administration for Samfunnet i Ă…s. I am 23 years old, and this is my third year of associate professor education in science here at NMBU. The past three years have shown me how valuable volunteering and willingness are to the student community. Never have I ever seen bigger spirit of hard work, and I admire how the students prioritize and value it. I began wonder about how Samfunnet works. My volunteer position during UKA I Ă…s 2018 ignited the spark that made me apply for the entry committee the same autumn. It has been incredibly fun and rewarding to be a part of the development of the committee, and to see how it continues to develop. Due
to the work in the entrance, I have become well acquainted with Samfunnet and with the ticket system. The diversity of work tasks and fun on the social level has made me more engaged and motivated to contribute further. For the past year, I have worked with UKA i Ă…s 2020 as Gjestesjef. I bring qualities in structure, solution orientation and cooperation from this position. The Urpremiere is one of the events you are responsible for as Gjestesjef. Traditionally, the Urpremiere is held one night, but this autumn we divided the event into four separate evenings and changed a lot of previous planning. This involved large amounts of coordination and organization, at the same time as the ability to reflect and creativity was allowed to unfold in a different way. Constantly new restrictions laid the foundation for the need for rapid impact assessments and subsequent decisions. I find it motivating to work to achieve the best possible result at all times. The position has required a lot of communication and cooperation, both between us two Gjestesjefer and across committees and blocks. The administrative work has always been my passion, this is where I have the most to contribute and this is where I work constantly to develop my own skills - together with those around me. I will work hard to maintain the unity and cooperation in the administration block. Good communication is the key word for a successful collaboration. Of course, this also applies to the collaboration with Samfunnsstyret, and will be given equal priority. I am a hard-working person with Samfunnet by my heart, who

Head of Concert Standing for election: Eline Deraas Lieblein Presentation of Eline Deraas Lieblein
Now that two new KS positions have been created in the concert block (KS sound staff and KS light staff), I hope that this can contribute to keep the professional competence of everyone in the block. It will be important for me to make sure that everyone gets the training they need, and at the same time make sure that everyone is doing well at work. It is hard to predict what the next few months will be like in terms of arranging concerts. At the same time, I think it is important for many to have something to look forward to in an otherwise perhaps boring everyday life. Therefore, I want to work towards a concert program with something for everyone (even whilst sitting down <3)

Honorable general assembly! My name is Mathias Kilsti Hals, I am 22 years old and currently studying my fourth year of urban and regional planning here at NMBU. I hereby announce my candidacy as marketing manager at the Student Society in Ås. When I came here to Ås three and a half years ago, it was with a huge admiration for all the effort volunteers put in to create such a lively student environment. It was then I swore that I had to be a part of this, something I have lived by ever since. For the past year I have worked as a marketing assistant at UKA i Ås and before that I had the pleasure of sitting as marketing manager at The Business Committee at NMBU. I can thus say that I have worked closely with marketing at this Student society for two years now. In those two years, I have learned an enormous amount about how marketing here at the Student society works, gained a lot of knowledge about the house in
general and gained valuable organizational experience. In addition, I have a crammed note on my cell phone with ideas that I want to implement. I am now looking forward to taking this competence and these ideas with me into the role of marketing manager. As a marketing assistant at UKA i Ås, I have been involved in leading the marketing for our festival from the very beginning. Here we have worked strategically to plan strategies and find out what we would focus on. Before the corona pandemic hit, we did a thorough job with the budget and freed up a third of it for new forms of marketing. In addition, we have invested heavily in creating a holistic design expression, implemented campaigns and created a clear physical and digital presence. In my time as marketing manager, I want us to dare to think new. We will look closely at what works in our marketing from before and we will challenge ourselves on what we can do better. At the same time, we will take care of, build on and highlight what makes the Student Society in Ås so great already. I want to see the big picture and focus on initiatives that benefit marketing in the long run. It is a real pleasure for me to work with all the talented people who make an effort for our Student Society. I have a clear vision for how I want to make the marketing of our Student society better and I hope you will give me the opportunity to realize it. Have a nice election!
Presentation of Marek Zimmermann
Dear General Assembly! My name is Marek Zimmermann. I am 22 years old, come from a small town called Gjøvik and am currently studying my fourth year of real estate law. I am running for head of marketing at Samfunnet. When i arrived in the fall of 2017 I met the beautiful, but slightly different Ås-spirit. I came straight out of high school and was quickly excited by Samfunnet; how they reached out to new students and what it had to offer for them. I volunteered for Jordskifterlagets bar in UKA18, later that fall I joined the SPRELL-committee and became a part of Lærken. I quickly realized that I wanted to get involved the social student life and that I had to offer as well. I have been a part of the engaging culture surrounding samfunnet, and realized how much it means for so many students. This made me come to realize that I want to make Samfunnet a safer space for both old and new students.
I wanted give more to Samfunnet, also on an organizational level. This made me run for a position in the election committee a year ago. This proved to be the ideal job for me, since I enjoy talking to people and love making new acquaintances. Earlier this year i became a part of STUNT and have been marketing UKA20. Here too I got to meet a lot of new people and was able to spread my energy and happiness to our new students. From my earlier roles as a volunteer for Samfunnet and UKA I learned how to work in a team, raise morale and excitement. I highly appreciate the will to volunteer that drives this organization further. In my role as head of marketing I wish to unite the volunteers within my block to one unit that has good communication and cooperation I am happy, have a great work-morale and am always ready for new challenges. I would love to get the chance to transfer the energy Samfunnet gives me, into the position as head of marketing. I have a broad network, am familiar with Samfunnet as an organization and the student mass as a whole. That is why I think I would be a great resource as head of marketing. If I am so lucky to be elected I look forward to the work within the board of Samfunnsstyret and the work in Samfunnet in general. There will, without a doubt, be plenty of challenges, but I am looking forward to solving these together with you. 10.2 Tuntreet Editor Standing for election: ďƒź Tord Kristian Fjellheim Andersen Presentation of Tord Kristian Fjellheim Andersen
I have initially been employed as a photographer, but already from the first edition I have also written. Since I joined in August 2018, I have contributed to every single edition (+Odelskatalogen). Eventually I also started to suggest cases, and when I got the go-ahead for several ideas, I got hooked. Since last autumn, I have also been the editor in chief for UKA i Ă…s. Through this I have published UKEmagasinet, in addition to running UKEbloggen and UKEradio'n. This has given me tangible experience of how to lead a student newspaper in Ă…s, as well as insight into my strengths and weaknesses as an editor. Experiences that are worth mentioning are: deciding cases, managing third parties, delegating, and problemsolving when things are not going right. Through Tuntreet and UKA, I have gained experience as a journalist, photographer, proof-reader, game pages maker and distributor (both physically on campus and online), in addition to insight into both layout and translation.
Honorable General Assembly!! My name is Tord and I am studying my 3rd year of geomatics. Right now I'm listening to Kaptein Sabeltann and wondering how to write the candidacy that I have intended to submit for 1.5 years. Well, maybe it can go something like this? When I first wanted to get involved voluntarily during the first semester, it was no coincidence that I contacted Tuntreet. The desire to understand the interplay between studies, associations, administration, and everything else that affects students' lives struck immediately. What was in the beginning only an excuse to take pictures in my free time, has become a high priority.
In terms of cases, I am especially fond of the silly ones, but I also appreciate the important issues that can set the agenda (sometimes both at once). I have therefore investigated how to apply for press support to create larger and more memorable cases. Furthermore, I have skimmed through Tuntreet's 74 years of editions, both to do research and get inspiration, in addition to satisfying my own curiosity. I have 10 000 good and bad ideas in my head that I want to see the light of day, and understand the collaboration, the tasks and the challenges the idea you get in the shower must go through towards a readable product. I think Tuntreet should be light entertainment in the reading room, in addition to a critical look at the society the
students live in. For me, it is important that Tuntreet takes the pulse of what it is like to be an NMBU student today, so that it is both something you can recognize now, but also something one can look back to and remember how it was 30 years later. In other words: the fun, the ordinary and the difficult. Having been part of the Tuntreet family for almost 2.5 years has been incredibly rewarding, and I have a great desire to give something back to my first love in Ă…s. 10.3 The Business Committee Leader Standing for election: Michelle Seigerud Presentation of Michelle Seigerud
gets better the more I get involved, and therefore, I run for election as head of Næringslivsutvalget at NMBU. After three years at Ås, I´ve had the opportunity to get involved in most of what the student life has to offer. I have acquired a large network of wonderful people and friends I will have for the rest of my life. I now feel that I want to give something back to the student community, and not least to everyone who works voluntarily day and night for all the students. I really want to take a bigger responsibility to bind the students together with the business community, it is actually where we all going one day!
Honorable General Assembly! My name is Michelle Seigerud and I´m 22 years old. I´m from a little place called Kongsvinger, about an hour away from Oslo. I´m at my fourth year at NMBU, but still on my second year in my current studies. I changed field of study after a bachelor's degree, and still have 3 good years left on Ås, something I am very happy about! I was in doubt for a long time about where I wanted to study, and it was simply pure luck that I ended up at NMBU. In my opinion, I have found the country's best university with a completely unique student environment! Personally, I also think the life as a student
Since the autumn of 2017 when I was a new student at the university, I have acquired a big amount of knowledge and learned a lot about myself as a person. I quickly joined a social association, where I am now finished as a leader. I have been one semester on exchange and been a student at two different faculties. In addition to this, I have been a finance manager in one year for the charity UnitedAid, and I was recently NK for the premieres during UKA 2020. With these experiences and a good passion for the students, I believe that I have qualities that can come in handy in the management of Næringslivsutvlaget. I think that all the work tasks and the collaboration with NMBU, the students, the career center, teams, associations and companies can offer incredibly exciting challenges that I am ready to take on!

Ås emphasizes organizational culture, contact with companies and courses. After I had a local position, I applied for a national position for IAESTE Norway. I am the currently leader of a department, where I manage applications, hold workshops and coordinate in 6 different IAESTE local committees in most universities /colleges in Norway. I also have experience and insight when it comes to business and Career days, as IAESTE arranges career days (IAESTE's Business Days) in Oslo, Trondheim and Stavanger. I also helped with arranging and recruiting companies for IAESTE's exchange opportunities. I have found this work very rewarding. Administration is something that I could have worked more with, and to further develop my skills do I believe that being a board of NU is something that would facinate me.

My name is Jude Michael Amameo. I am 20 years old and in my second year in Geomatics. As a first grader and current second grader, I have had the pleasure of engaging in student life from many different aspects, both internally and externally in the Student Society. And would like to contribute more within the student organization- namely within the administration committee at NU! Most of my volunteering work that I have are administrative, which is one of the reasons why I am applying as the administration of NU. The organizational experiences I have from being a leader, working in teams and working in a structured way have I gained mostly from IAESTE Ås, which is a international organization. IAESTE
Last but not least, I have been involved within Samfunnet: as a committee member for Samfunnet, NK for UKA in Ås 2020 and board member for an association. The volunteer work that I did was very educational and rewarding. The experience I have learned from being independent, structured, responsible, and not least working in teams is something I want to take forward if I become responsible for administration for NU. «Næringslivsutvalget ved NMBU» is without a doubt an important link between students and the business life. But it is also important to strengthen links between associations and companies. If I am chosen as head of administration, I will further develop the offer in terms of courses and seminars for line associations so that there is a good flow between the parties. In addition to seminars, I will also hold useful workshops, including stand workshops for line associations. For example, standworkshop, as not everyone is equally experienced / comfortable with that. Stand is important for associations that want to communicate and
recruit in an effective way. In addition to team building exercises to strengthen motivation for the associations. I also want to strengthen cooperation and better follow-up with associations. My name is Nora Christine Hjelme. I am 20 years old and come from Trondheim. Here at NMBU I study Real Estate and am now in my third year. During my time here at Ă…s, I have had the pleasure of having small and large positions. The positions have given me the opportunity to take part in various parts of the student life and provided a basis and motivation for a larger position. I am therefore running for election as head of administration for NĂŚringslivsutvalget at NMBU. Even though I am quite early in my studies, I already see the importance of having contact with the business community. NĂŚringslivsutvalget does an incredibly important job here by being a link between students and business. They provide students with knowledge and experiences from the business world that they would not
otherwise have received from their studies, as well as the opportunity to participate in career-promoting events. It seems very instructive and interesting to be part of a board that works with just this. As head of administration I want to continue to maintain a good collaboration with linjeforeningene, as this collaboration is very central in the work of coordinating and disseminating knowledge. Furthermore, I will also do my utmost to carry out the administrative tasks in the best possible way. Through school assignments and forening, I already take an active part in the student community. I am class representative and student representative in the program council for real estate. In the spring of 2020, I was also the buddy leader for the faculty LANDSAM. These positions have given me the opportunity to get involved in the student democracy and my program, as well as given me good relationship skills. I have learned the importance of good planning and communication, and this is something I also want to take with me in a new position. In 2019 - 2020, I was head of administration for UnitedAid. Here I gained good knowledge about administrative work, as well as experience of what it means to be a part of a board. As a whole, these assignments have taught me to work well in teams. Of course, it is important to provide input and your own opinions, but it is equally important to see and understand the rest of the team's different perspectives. These are qualities I think come in handy as an administration manager, and which make me the right candidate.
Those who know me describe me as a person with a great commitment, drive and a lot of energy. I like to have a lot to do, and have learned to be solution-oriented, structured and goal-oriented. I hope you give me your confidence to carry out the work as head of administration.

I have long had an interest in design, and especially graphic design. As a member of the Design & Layout Committee, I have been able to work with the marketing of Samfunnet i Ås, and have seen these tasks as rewarding. During UKA this year, I worked with house design. Now I am looking for further challenges, and I see that chief of marketing for the Business Committee is the right place for me. The studies offered at Ås are becoming increasingly important and the students here are skilled. I see an even better collaboration between the Business committee and NMBU as an important task. Every student must be made more aware of the opportunities that lie in working life. This also applies to the other way, that the attention of employers is turned to where it should be - Ås.

My name is Andreas Kalle Kinnari and I hereby wish to be the chief of marketing for the business committee. I am 20 years old, and come from Stavanger. Now I live in Ås, and study landscape architecture in the 2nd year. Although my time here at Ås for many can be perceived as short, my impressions of the place are many. Early on, I noticed how volunteering drives the social and academic wheels in Ås. I cannot help but be inspired to get more involved.
I see proper marketing as one of the most important pieces of play for this to work. I hope you will give me the confidence to do this.

10.4 The Board of House and Finance External representative Standing for election: Inger Johanne H. Sveen Espen Eikaas Syljuåsen
Presentation of Inger Johanne H. Sveen Honorable General Assembly My name is Inger Johanne H. Sveen, I'm from Toten, living at Ås, a graduate of NMBU and works as a consultant in the Norwegian Agrarian Association in Oslo. Since 2018 I have been a member of the board of House and Finance, and since August 2020 as chairman. In 2015/2016, I was involved in the work to create a longterm strategy for Studentsamfunnet, a strategy that is very interesting to follow being realised and that I want to follow further. I have experience from board work in various organisations, foundations and festivals. I believe that Samfunnet i Ås has a significant potential to offer good events to an increasing student crowd, and be an interesting and rewarding organisation to volunteer in. Here the board of House and Finance has a role to play, and I am happy to be involved and contribute on the journey ahead. Good choice! Inger Johanne H. Sveen

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Espen Eikaas Syljuåsen and I’m 33 years old. I was educated here at Ås, then worked for a few years as a journalist, before I changed field and now work as marketing manager for Norwegian Agro Machinery, one of the country's largest importers of agricultural machinery. Residence is at the Agricultural Metropolis. Since the board of House and Finance was established in 2011, I have tried to contribute with my commitment and experience, something I still hope I can continue with if the General Assembly desires. Earlier in my Ås career, I was head of events at board of Samfunnet in 2009, before I jumped in as head of marketing for UKA in 2010. As a student, I studied economics, a subject I think it is important that the board of House and Finance has good knowledge of. One of the board of House and Finance’s main tasks is, among other things, to contribute to memory in the organization, and here I believe that I still have a lot to contribute. Financial management through good budgeting, regular reporting and not least the presentation of numbers in a popular, understandable way has been something I have used, and want to spend a lot of time on. Of important events I have been involved in through the board of House and Finance, I will mention Pluto commissions' work with strategy and organisational changes, NMBU's termination of the previous operating agreement, subsequent conclusion of a new
one, and conclusion of a new ownership agreement and not least a serving agreement. To ensure that we achieve the intentions and desires of the latter, I want to stand for election for two new years.
