Honorable General Assembly!

The name is Fredrik, the age is twenty-two and for almost three years I have been strolling around here in Ås. I am now registering my candidacy for the position as leader of Studentsamfunnet i Ås.

After spending approximately every Wednesday and Friday night at Samfunnet from August to March my first year, that

opportunity was brutally and mercilessly torn from me by a tiny little thing that very few know exactly how came to be. With an absolutely amazing collective filled with great friends, the rhythm was not necessarily broken, but I quickly saw how much the offer Samfunnet provides means. Samfunnet gives Ås students the opportunity for a second home. A place for development in areas the university does not provide, and where we can gather for parties and fun.

To be able to provide this offer, you are dependent on people who want to give a little for others and their own pleasure. I wanted in, and soon enough signed up for service as a room booking manager. «Administrative work that can be done without missing the party,» I thought. «Soon we will be back in the Bodega».

After a long time with the occasional party at Samfunnet, the security guard role also tempted, and my oh my, how rewarding it is to work while others have their fun! After many an hour around the house at all hours of the day, it is incredible to see how many people use Samfunnet's rooms and offers.

Outside Samfunnet, Energiseminaret lies close to my heart. In the autumn of 2020, I slipped into the finance group and spent the winter recruiting sponsors who would support this great initiative. With the result being a digital alternative, I found it exciting to see what we could achieve physically, and I was elected as marketing manager on the board of ES2022. In the last year, I have worked with another wonderful group and seen what it is like to collaborate with Samfunnet and NMBU, in addition to external companies and actors.

And maintaining good contact with NMBU will be one of my most important cases as a leader.

Without the university here in Ås, there would have been no Studentsamfunnet i Ås, and the village would probably not have experienced as much as it does. But it is no lie stating that

Samfunnet does its part, and we should be able to utilize each other's strengths. It will be exciting to see what can be done for the daily operation of Samfunnet, and how we can get as many of the great Ås students on the team as possible.

The unity you can see in the spirit of hard work that seeps through the people of Samfunnet is absolutely thrilling. It is the core of all the fun we create, and drives me to constantly want to make an effort. As the leader of Studentsamfunnet i Ås, I want to aim for the stars, and I hope that I can live up to your expectations!

Committee provides the opportunity to network and learn from the best early on.

Early on as a new student in Ås I joined the board of Spire Ås. Unfortunately there was a tiny pandemic who put the society on hold, but as soon as we opened up again I quickly joined the Entrance committee here at Samfunnet. I am also a head of Sports in The Nordic Games and I have noticed how social engagement is what motivates me the most. I love planning and arranging social events that bring people together both academically and socially. That is why I believe Head of Events is the perfect position for me.

Being Head of Event would be an informative experience and I wish to challenge myself. In this position I wish to contribute with keeping small and large events, but also provide new ideas and insights. I wish to evolve the offers for all study programs and encourage transdisciplinarity with the programs that can be used in a work environment.

My name is Thea Dyring. I am 23 years old and from Oslo, and I am in my third year of a bachelor in International Environment and Development Studies. I hereby apply for a position as Head of Event for the business Committee.

I have always wanted to be engaged in the student life in Ås, and with a nearing end to my bachelors I seek to engage in future focused duties. That is why The Business Committee is suitable for me as this is something that connects students together with the life that comes after NMBU. The student life is a way of life we never want to leave behind, but unfortunately work life will eventually come and we should be prepared. The Business

My name is Magnus Sørhaug Wæhre, I am 23 years old and am now in my 4th year of a master's degree in Real Estate Law. In my last year here at NMBU, I want to fill a meaningful position, and hereby run as Sponsor Manager for Næringslivsutvalget.

One of the reasons why I chose to study here at NMBU was the "rumors" about how inclusive the student environment is at this university.

When I came here in the autumn of 2018, it did not take many days before I got this confirmed with my own experiences. Even before I had started my everyday study, I was recommended to become a volunteer at Samfunnet. Two days later I became a member of the bar committee. This assignment gave me a quick insight into the importance of Samfunnet as part of the student community here in Ås.

After two miserable years with a closed / semiopen Samfunnet, I felt that I wanted to contribute to a role with more responsibility.

Since the autumn of 2021, I have acted as Bar manager. This position has made me want to take on even more responsibility and contribute further. As sponsor manager for the Næringslivsutvalget, I get one of the best opportunities for just this.

Now that I am nearing the end of my studies, I am realizing more and more the importance of the students' opportunity to be able to get involved with actors in the business world as early as possible. The Næringslivsutvalgets work with this connection is what drives me to apply for this position. This is the work I want to contribute to myself, by leading the sponsorship team. Because I am structured, committed and enjoy working in teams, I have great faith in being able to continue the good work that today's sponsorship team does, as well as develop good new sponsorship collaborations.

The last two semesters as bar manager have also provided insight into what it is like to lead a team. I feel that I have mastered this task quite well, and thus have faith that I can slip well into a role with a greater responsibility. As a volunteer, I have enjoyed from the benefits that come with it, and this will be my opportunity to give even more in return.

experience from the industry to students. This is something I want to be a part of.

In the student democracy I have been student representative for my class, student representative in the student council and program council. As well as being head of event and buddy leader I have been the leader of Molekylet, the student association at KBM. So, after a few roles here at NMBU I have learned that it is important to be structured but at the same time flexible. Good communication between partners and groups are also essential.

I’m a person that likes structure and to take responsibility. These are traits I see as important for a person who’s going to arrange The Career day and Næringslivsdagen. There´s many things that must be planned and I’m a person that likes to get things done.

My name is Hannah K. Storum and I’m running for the position as Head of Career Day. I´m 22 years old and I’m from Bergen. Here at NMBU I study chemistry, now in my 3rd year.

It didn’t take long after I started before I got my first role. I became head of event and Buddy leader for KBM. I have had small and big positions, and these has given the opportunity to participate in the different aspects of student life. Therefore, I’m now running for Head of Career Day. I have seen how important it is to have knowledge about the work industry and how far one can get by having contacts in the industry. I have spent a lot of my time in the last four years at Samfunnet. This has learned me a lot about the building and all the bodies that operate it. I have had the opportunity to visit several of the organs in the house and have gained a lot of knowledge about how they work. If I am elected to the House and Finance Board, I want to bring that knowledge to be able to further develop Studentsamfunnet.

The house and finance board's main task is to ensure good long-term and sustainable operation of the house and the organization.

Here I see it as important that you have experience in the house and good experience in how the organization works. During my time as leader of Samfunnet, I have tried to spend a lot of time listening to those around me and gain better insight into the operation of the house. I want to take these experiences further into the Housing and Finance Board to ensure that we can continue to improve as an organization.

I do not feel finished contributing to Studentsamfunnet. Thusly I hope, that the General Assembly isn’t completely done with me yet and wants to give me another year!

My name is Hedda Mejlænder-Larsen and is running for election as a student representative in the House and Finance Board. I am 23 years old, come from Bærum and am in my fourth year of Industrial Economics.

During my time as a student at NMBU, I’ve spent a lot of time at Studentsamfunnet, as a committee member, funkis, committee chief and as leader of Samfunnet. Even though my time on Samfunnsstyret is coming to an end, I do not see myself finished contributing to Samfunnet and thus seek new opportunities where I can get an outlet for my engagement.

Samfunnet i Ås is an important resource for the students, and it needs skilled people in the management. I believe that my personal abilities in combination with a broad network of different people and a desire to participate gives me a good chance to give a solid effort to the recruitment.

My name is Eline Furseth, I am 22 years old and currently studying on the third year of a bachelor’s degree in biology. I hereby stand for election as a representative of valgnemda.

As an engaged student I have been able to participate in a lot of what the Student community has to offer during my three years in Ås. I am currently active in the bar committee of Samfunnet, and I am NK recruitment for UKA i Ås 2022. During my previous years I have participated in Nordisk landskamp 2021, I was a part of UKA i Ås 2020 and I am an ambassador for Naturviterne. As a person I am social and extroverted, and I love to meet new people.

My name is Knut Sørbø, and I hereby toss my hat in the ring for the election of election committee.

All in all, I have survived 28 winters, where 3 of them has been here in Ås. From my small beginning here at the Agrarmetropol, I have been a voluntary at Samfunnet. I have taken pictures for both samfunnet and UKA and have been the leader of the film and photo committee at samfunnet. When you don’t see me running around with a camera or a microphone at samfunnet, I am studying to be a high school teacher in physics, programming and mathematics.

I am one of those people that loves to talk with new people, and from my former job as a waiter and bartender I have no qualms when it comes to selling people stuff they don’t know they want yet. That is why I feel I fit well for this position.

But until then, have a good election!

The Grand Master of Hans Hovenhet Hestehoven (HHH) has the great pleasure and honor of nominating his successors in Hestehoven's top cantzelli; namely the choice of: - Grand Master HHH - Master of Ceremonies HHH - Cantzler HHH For a period of four years from 2022 to 2026.

Grand Master HHH proposes that the following will be elected as a new, joint college: As new Grand Master it is proposed: Jenny Osuldsen She graduated from NLH in 1991.

She is educated landscape architect from NLH (NMBU) from 1991.

She is a professor of Landscape Architecture at NMBU. She is a visiting professor at the University of Lund.

She is an honorary doctor at the University of Luleå.

She is Lærke and has participated in several Lærke revues at Samfunnet.

She was a star actress during the UKE revues in 1988 and 1990.

She was appointed to Hovenheten in 1992.

She has participated in HHH's promotions since 1998.

She works for Snøhetta, among other things she worked at Snøhetta's New York office for many years.

As new Master of Ceremonies it is proposed: Halvor Haukerud He graduated from NLH in 1998.

He has a master's degree in engineering.

He is Lærke and has participated in several Lærke revues at Samfunnet.

He was a star actor from the revues in 1994 and 1996.

He was the Head of Bodega at Samfunnet for two years.

He participated in starting the NM in student revue at Samfunnet in 1998.

He wrote the lyrics to the musical "Buljongimperiet" which was performed at Samfunnet in 2002.

He directed the UKErevue in 2000 and 2002.

Has participated in HHH's promotions since 2002 He runs his own consulting company "Motarbeider" and gives 100-150 lectures on organizational development a year.

As new Canztler it is proposed: Turid Stubø Johnsen She graduated from NLH in 1992 She is educated landscape architect from NLH. She has been editor of Tuntreet She was media manager during UKA -92 She was the first from NLH to be the leader of NSU (later NSO) The year before, she served one year as deputy leader of NSU She sat in the University Council's board (nationally) for one year At Ås, she remarked herself in the Mountain Sport Group and Basketball NLH Has worked for Statens veivesen for the past 25 years Has participated in HHH's promotions since 2006 Is now municipal manager in Sarpsborg Hans Hovenhets Cantzelli consists of a cohesive group of three who are responsible for writing texts for the kingdom's standstill, introduction of delinquents, actor/defender's speeches and Grand Master's conclusion under Hovretten. Significant writing skills are therefore required of the chosen ones. This is taken into account under my nominations.

Outgoing Grand Master is pleased with his nominations; not least because with this he can present the first female Grand Master in almost 100 years (The Student Society in Ås decided to establish the order in 1929).

It is therefore historic that the General Assembly of the Student Society in Ås elects its first woman to lead Hans Hovenhet Hestehoven (HHH). Ås, 17.03.2022
