where I have gained a lot of experience related to accounting and auditing. This is something I believe comes in handy as Chief Financial Officer – in addition to a great interest for my studies and my fellow students. I consider myself as an outgoing, organized and highly motivated person with a keen interest in gaining new knowledge. Through participation at Samfunnets many events and previous experiences, I have met many inspiring people who have shown me how rewarding it is to be engaged in student organizations. I believe now that I am ready to utilize my skills and passion to further the mission of Samfunnet and I hope you will give me the confidence as CFO. Good election! Best regards, Camilla Olsen

To the Honorable the General Assembly! My name is Camilla Olsen and it is with great excitement that I hereby stand for election as Chief Financial Officer for Samfunnet i Ås. I am 22 years old and a third-year student of Business Administration. Some of you may have seen me running around campus in a very orange condom suit. Others may have seen me on stand in a purple hoodie. Now, I also want Samfunnet to become a bigger part of my everyday life. I am a person who thrives when the calendar is full. In addition to being a board member at Econa, I currently have a part-time job at KPMG

famous odelscatalog. I have covered both the funny and the serious case, and I love the creative atmosphere with the editorial staff. I notice for every editorial meeting that I have ideas that I want to bring to life! I wish that Tuntreets should take the cases the students cares about and effects our everyday life. At the same time, it should be a place for the funny cases that lifts the mood in a otherwise dull campus life. To make Tuntreet as best as possible we need to have social happenings, and I will try to arrange it as good as it is possible with corona restrictions. It is with deep respect I am running as editor in a newspaper that has given me very much. I hope that you will give me your trust. Happy voting Simen Walbækken Tangen

Honourable general meeting!! My name is Simen Walbækken Tangen, I’m going the third year of geomatics. I have been working in Tuntreet for almost two years, where I have mainly been a photographer but also a journalist on some cases. I was involved in making “ The bottle post” a ship newspaper in the coastguard, a thin tabloid with mostly nonsense and funny cases. I was very happy when I found a Tuntreet at a preparty in the buddyweek. I became fascinated how good it was created! So impressed that I wouldn’t dare to join before my second year. I don’t regret a second. I have contributed to every issue since, including the

NU already now can start building networks, get to know potential future employers and gain understanding of how working life actually works. Shortly after I started at NMBU I joined a social association, which I will say is one of my best decisions so far. Among many things, it has given me an incredible number of new friends, memorable experiences and enough courage to run for election at General Assembly now. Previously, I have held smaller positions such as transport functionary during UKA 2018, bank functionary and bar responsible for Feminin & Fornem during UKA 2020. Now I am both eager and motivated to take on a larger position and I am convinced that the position as Head of Event for NU is something that will fit me very well.

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Linda Cecilie Olsen and I am 23 years old. Currently I am studying urban and regional planning on my third year here at NMBU. Hereby I run for Head of Event for The Business Committee (NU). I have realized that time goes by extremely fast here at NMBU. There is a lot to engage in, and I want to take a bigger part of it. The reason why I specifically chose to run for The Business Committee is that I find it important to prepare for what awaits after our studies, namely working life. Because we all might wish for (at least I do) the wonderful student life to last forever, but sadly that is not the case. Therefore, it is great that we through various career-promoting events under the auspices of

Being a member of NU is something I view as a great opportunity for me to develop myself as a person and throw myself out of my comfort zone. I will describe myself as a goal-oriented and positive-minded girl who is ready for a challenge. I am sure that the role as Head of Event is something I can earn good experiences from, and that being a part of the cooperation between us students, NMBU and various companies can teach me a lot. In this position, I would like to maintain the good offer that already exists, but also take a look at the opportunity to further development and new thinking. I am concerned with that the offer should be diverse with something for everyone. Therefore, I wish to investigate what kind of events are in demand. I hope you will give me the confidence and wish you all a good election. Best regards, Linda C. Olsen

does to introduce students to business and vice versa. Since then, I have had a strong desire to take part in this work, and therefore apply for Sponsorship Coordinator. I think it sounds exciting to be able to lead and collaborate with all the talented people who make up the sponsorship team, as well as to negotiate with current and potential new sponsors. In this position, I want to continue the work that has already been done, but I also hope that I can contribute to finding new and good solutions for sponsorship income for Samfunnet i Ås. After almost four years at Ås, I am strongly motivated to give something back to the fantastic community I have been so lucky to be a part of. I think this position will suit me well, as I enjoy working with others, and am concerned with maintaining a good tone. In addition, I wish the best for everyone, and dare to put my foot down if needed, which can come in handy in negotiations.

Honorable general assembly! My name is Tiril Malmedal, I am 23 years old, come from a farm outside Molde, and this is my 4th year here on beautiful Ås. Due to new choices of direction, I still have (and fortunately) a few years left, which I would very much like to spend with all of you! During the years here at Ås I have participated in different social and academic institutions, like Miljøfysikerne, and UKA i Ås, and Næringslivsdagen. I love being a part of what is going on, and I like to put others before myself. I like to be responsible, and find it rewarding to arrange something that others can enjoy. Now I am looking for new challenges, and I am eager to learn something new. When I sat on the board of Miljøfysikerne, I gained insight into the important work NU

I hope that you will give me the chance to work so that you have both funds and opportunities! Wish you all a good election! Tiril Malmedal

that the companies that attend represent the diversity of courses at NMBU. And if we need to have digital fair again, to look at the solution that have been used and see if they can be improved. I am a person how likes structure and order, those are qualities I view as important if you oversee fairs with many visitors. There are a lot to plan and organise so that everything works out in the end, and I am a person the follows up on all parts of the planning so that the results have the best possible outcome. I hope that you all give me the opportunity to contribute more. Happy election! Siril Bjørke

Dear General assembly My name is Siril Bjørke and I am running as karrieredagsansvarlig for Næringslivsutvalget. I am 22 years old and I a third-year industrial economics and technology management student. I got my first role after only attending NMBU for a few weeks in the fall of 2018. I applied to be a NK for UKEhjelpa, and the roles have just kept piling on. Among other I have been the leader of Fagverket, the kitchen boss for UKA I Ås 2020, and I am a comity member in the entrance comity. Having roles and being engaged in the student life I find really fun and rewarding, and now I want to do more. At some point most of us are going to find a job, eighter a summer job or a post-graduation job. For that the career fairs are a great opportunity, and to connect the student with businesses. I want to continue to work for them to become even better. To make sure

contact. This is to ensure that students from all the fields of study at Ås will feel represented. I am a structured person, and I like to take responsibility. I have experience from being the CEO of a youth company in highschool. My main responsibilities were to convey information to our contacts and ensure that documents were delivered by the deadlines. Before my studies I worked a part-time job at G-Sport, where I was responsible for the personnel during the summers. I enjoy having responsibility and I love working in teams. Planning is essential in order to make the Career day to serve its purpose as best as possible. In the semesters ahead, we must be prepared for both digital and physical events. I think my experiences will come in handy for tackling the various issues that will arise.

Dear Assembly! My name is Julie Løkeberg and I am running for the position as Responsible for the Career Day. I am 23 years old and on my 2nd year of a bachelor degree in geomatics. My first year at NMBU I studied "Ettårig grunnstudium". During this year, I got to see how passionate other students were, and it inspired me to get more involved myself. I was a volunteer for UKA in Ås 2020, and now I want to try something new with more responsibility. Næringslivsutvalget’s Career Day at NMBU is an important platform for both students and companies alike, and I want to contribute to make it the best possible day everyone involved. I believe in learning by doing, and this position will allow me to exactly that. The Career Day is the students' opportunity to achieve this by getting jobs within their fields of study and building a valuable network. My goal as Responsible for the Career Day is to make the Career Day benefit as many students as possible. In order to achieve this, I will prioritize diversity in the companies that we

I hope that you will put your trust in me, and I will do my utmost in order to earn that trust. Best regards Julie Løkeberg

more to give. Now I want to use my background and experience to continue working for the students, but now at a more general level. During my years at Samfunnet, i have gained good insight into the organisation and the various boards and sections. As leader of UKA i Ås, I have been a board member in the Board of House and Finance and have thus become well acquainted with the structure, operations and finances of the organisation. In an organisation for and with students, it is important to continuously replenish new thoughts and input. However, in a board such as the Board of House and Finance, I believe that it is an advantage to have experience in order to maintain the continuity and efficiency. The past year has been far from normal for all parts of Samfunnet. At the same time, it has provided an opportunity to gain a new perspective on the organisation’s structure and operation. One has had to find new solutions and be creative in order to continue to give the students an offer. I think it is important to take those experiences with us, and that things don’t always have to be done the way they always have been.

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Fimke Frederika Pijfers, I am 23 years old and come from Molde. I am now in my fifth year here at NMBU, but I have no plans to leave just yet. Samfunnet i Ås has been the center of my entire student life and has become my second home as comittee leader for UKA i Ås 2018, member of the bar committee at Samfunnet and as leader of UKA i Ås 2020. I am pretty sure that I have spent far more hours in the office wing, Bodegaen and other nooks and crannies of the building than in my own home. However, I am not tired and feel like I have

The Board of House and Finance shall ensure that the organisation, the building and the finances are managed in a long-term and sustainable manner. After sitting in the board for two years, I have been involved in making several important decisions, and I hope that I can continue to speak on behalf of the students. I really want to be able to contribute to the further organisational development, and I care strongly that the profits should be used and managed in a sensible way. I hope that you will have faith in me and give me the opportunity to continue working for Samfunnet i Ås’ best for another year. Happy voting! Best regards, Fimke Frederika Pijfers

Presentation of Astrid Lunde

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Astrid Lunde and during my years here at NMBU numerous hours have been spent in our dearest Student house, both working and partying. As Head of Bars during UKA I Ås 2020 and as responsible for the volunteers and the event during evening events at Samfunnet I Ås, my relationship with the people and the culture here at Samfunnet i Ås have become something special and dear to me. I have one year left here at NMBU, and I am not nearly ready to let go of Samfunnet I Ås. I will therefor raise my candidature for Student representative on the Board of House and Finance. To all of you that do not know me very well, I can tell you that I am loud, determined and I have a high work ethic. I have never made myself invisible, and I will fight for what I think is right. I am a self-appointed champion in making the hard decisions, and in correcting those who think a simple student have nothing to bring to the argument. I am dedicated and I

will continue to put my hart and sole into the student community that have given me so much already. The role the Board of House and Finance plays at Samfunnet I Ås, is looking after the longterm strategies and that the development of the organisation and the administration of long-term investments, contracts and Samfunnsbygningen stays strong and steady for the years ahead of us. As a student representative on this board, you represent the student mas as a hole by being just that: a student. It is therefore helpful to know Samfunnet i Ås, but also to be a student that are ready for the work that lies ahead. For the last two years I have been a member of the Board of SiÅs, and for the last year the Head of the board. My time there have taught me a great deal about what it takes to run a business with a long-term strategy and a main focus at the well being of students. I am well known with both NMBU and SiÅs, which are both important to collaborate with if we are going to reach our common goal for the student population. My passion for the wellbeing for students has been present in my work for the last years. What does it really mean when I mention it in this context? Good student wellbeing is to secure that this house, the spirit of it and the traditions are maintained for the years to come. That students that just recently started their time here at NMBU will experience the same good memories. That those students who comes up with crazy ideas like going through with UKA I Ås 2020 are heard and receives a chance to prove it. That all students will know in their hearts that Samfunnet I Ås will still be here and welcome us in years to come. I may not have been Head of Samfunnet I Ås or Head of UKA I Ås, but I have had responsibilities in the building of Norway’s largest project for student housing, the rehabilitation of Storebrand and Lillebrand,

and approved the new serving arrangements between Samfunnet I Ås and SiÅs. Honourable General Assembly if you let me, I will do my best to make Samfunnet i Ås even better through the Board of House and Finance. I wish you a happy election. Sincerely, Astrid Lunde

chairwoman for the security committee at the Student Society. I do not feel like I’m finished contributing to the student environment at Ås and would like to use the next two years making UKA 2022 the best possible. As a chairwoman for a committee I have learned a lot, especially how I am as a leader. As a leader, I am welcoming and honest. I’m good a listener and appreciate other people's opinions. I get involved in other people's work and want to see them succeed and grow in their tasks. After being the assistant to the CFO for UKA 2020, I’ve gotten the opportunity to get an insight to how UKA works as an organization and insight in what works what doesn’t. I wish that UKA at Ås 2022 will be innovative, and that we take lessons from past experiences and find new and creative solutions. Such that UKA 2022 becomes as festival worthy of the Ås-students. This I think I fully possible and that Tora and Thorvald deserves. Good choice! With best regards Hedda Mejlænder-Larsen

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Hedda Mejlænder-Larsen, I’m 23 years old and I’m on my third year of Industrial Economics. It did not take long from when I started here the fall of 2018 for me to be enamored by the fantastic student environment we have here in Ås. It did not take long before I became a member of the security committee at the Student Society and a volunteer for UKA 2018. I found a great taste for the volunteer work at the Student Society and UKA at Ås. I became the assistant to the CFO for UKA 2020 og

soldier, where I was responsible for leading my team and training new soldiers. Ås has shown me that you can be exactly who you want to be and that no one will judge you. I remember when I saw CC cowboys and the tree trap association performing during grass course part 2 for the first time, and everyone clapped and cheered. It was an incredibly good memory and a good start where I felt like I did not have to pretend like I someone I am not. Inclusion is so strongly implemented in the culture of Ås, which is something I truly appreciate. We students are the ones who create the good memories and a nice environment. Ås has given me so much and I want to give back. That is why I have taken on so many positions while I have been here. It has been a lot of fun and I now want to run for the ultimate position, namely UKEmanager.

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Marte Wiger, and I am running for election as UKEmanager for UKA in Ås 2022. Positions and other experiences during my time on the hill: - Activity officer during UKA 2018 - NKNM revue UKA 2020 - Finance manager for the climbing club 20192021 - Intern for the energy seminar 2020-2021 - Winner of the Innovation Competition, gave a presentation at the energy seminar 2021 - Marketing in Optimum 2021 - Student ambassador I am 23 years old and in my third year of studying economics and administration. I grew up in Kolbotn, and after finishing school I went to folk high school. At folk high school, it is the people who mean everything, and that was where my commitment to get involved really started. After folk high school, I went to the military, where I was a smoke diver. I moved up a bit in the ranks and became a leading

I think I a good fit as UKEmanager first and foremost because I have a burning commitment to the students and UKA. I like responsibility and cope well under pressure. I have gained management experience during my time in the military and my current job as a store employee, which I can benefit from. I am the type of leader who leads by being a good example, by working hard, and participating in the "shit tasks". At the same time, I want the board to be a single body and for us to make decisions together. Everyone should be heard! The best ideas often come from the volunteers who work "on the ground". I hope you will vote for me and trust that I will contribute to the best UKAfestival so far!

how the students' commitment and joy shape this festival from beginning to end. As an event assistant, I got to test my leadership skills internally in the event block. I was rejoiced to see others flourish in their tasks and have enjoyed the success of those around me. In addition, I have worked a lot in teams and with the entire organization. It has given me a good overview of UKA and what the most important tasks in the different blocks are. As UKEsjef, I want to be a clear leader, who makes good decisions with the best for the Ås students in mind. I will contribute with my great commitment and the experience I have gained in the past. I want to work to improve communication internally and create clearer work tasks between the blocks.

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Jørgen Bonden. I am 23 years old, come from Sande and study my third year in geomatics. I hereby announce my candidacy for election as UKEsjef for UKA I Ås 2022. From an early age, I have always found organizational work to be engaging. At home, I joined both Bygdeungdomslaget and 4H early, where I had my first leadership position. In 2018, I came here to Ås and quickly ended up as an UKE volunter. UKA i Ås gave additional motivation for contributing more and in 2020 I had to take on more responsibility when I was lucky enough to be hired as an assistant to the chief of event. Through this work, I have gained a unique insight into the organization's structure and UKA's long-term goals. It has also been enormously rewarding to experience

My motto is "You can do whatever you want, as long as you want it enough". And if there is one thing we at NMBU show time and time again, it is this. It’s the basis for our Student Society, and it is the basis for UKA i Ås. We will take this with us into UKA i Ås 2022. We will dare to do things in new ways and do what we know how to do even better. Everyone who works with UKA i Ås should feel a sense of belonging and a sense of ownership of the festival. You should get to feel a community and a feeling of mastery in your work. I am ready to put my time, experience and energy into developing the festival for the best for all of us. It will take time, effort and will, but I can guarantee that I will do everything I can for the students at Ås to get the best UKA ever! Have a nice election! With best regards Jørgen Bonden

demanding, but it taught me to work structured and have given me a solutionoriented attitudes to stressful and challenging situations. The skills have also been combined with different organizational studies witch I have integrated into my studies, which I perceive as useful for a head of administration. At last, former employers has perceived me as a focused person who takes initiative to get tasks done. Thank you Studentsamfunnet i Ås, and all the good experiences you have given me in two and a half year. If you perceive me as a worthy head of administration I will do my utmost to make sure UKA 2022 will be unforgettable Thanks

for

Yours sincerely Espen Gevelt

The spring 2021 I will finish my master’s degree at NMBU. In my 2,5 years here at NMBU I always appreciated Samfunnet i Ås’ activities and now I want to give something back! With this I want to run for the election to become the head of administration. In the autumn 2020, I was working both as a buddy during the buddy-week and as “Vertskapet” during UKA 2020. Here I got an insight in the voluntary work students do to sustain the good student environment in Ås. During UKA 2020 I also enjoyed events like Sløyfa and “studentrevyen” These events were amazing in their own right but adding that they were made possible by students voluntary work is inspiring! As a student, I always participated in different organizations where I have developed organizational skills, among other things with a leader position in SAIH. Combining this leader role with my master studies has been

Presentation of Sigrid Lyslo Wilhelmsen

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Sigrid Lyslo Wilhelmsen, and I hereby stand for election as Head of Administration in UKEstyret. I am 23 years old, currently studying my first year as Landscape Engineer, but I have been studying here at NMBU since 2018. From the day I started my studies here at NMBU I have been involved in the student community. First as NK during UKA i Ås 2018, later as committee member at Samfunnet and as serving assistant for UKA i Ås 2020. Today I am a committee leader at Samfunnet. This experience have given my full insight into how Samfunnet i Ås is run from inside out. I am running for election as head of administration for UKA i Ås 2022 because I am not ready to let go of the best Ås has to offer, UKA i Ås. I want to contribute more to the student community I have grown so found of, be a part of the creation of another UKE, and last but not least, I want to be able to follow UKA i Ås 2022 from start to finish line. The administration block is a kind of support

apparatus for the rest of UKA i Ås. It has several of the committees that are involved in the evening activities (like parties), and are involved in the entire construction of UKA i Ås. Whether it is a security guard at a concert, IT or creating contracts for all the volunteers. The administration block is just as useful as a small potato, and it is incredibly important that it works and operates well. This requires a good structure and overview, good collaboration skills and the ability to see each individual. These are qualities I have acquired in my time as a department manager at TusenFryd. For several years I have employed, trained, followed up and motivated many young people to master their first job. There are clear similarities to this and the role of a first-time volunteer. As the serving assistant for UKA i Ås 2020, I saw the importance of seeing others and of working together as a team towards a common goal, across grade levels, field of study and volunteer position. We were a team of over a thousand different students working together for a common goal. We actually managed to complete UKA i Ås 2020! There are almost no limits to what we can achieve in 2022! There is a volunteer position for everyone, and everyone should have the opportunity to take part in creating a festival they are proud of, and last but not least enjoy enormously! It is incredibly important for Samfunnet i Ås and for UKA i Ås, that everyone who wants to contribute are seen and feel that they are involved in making something great. Not only because we are going to arrange a whole month of partying and fun, but because I know how important it is for each individual student to have a large community. UKA i Ås is the best example of what students achieve when we stand together. It is not UKEstyret that makes UKA i Ås, but a whole bunch of volunteers who works day and night with the dream of making UKA i Ås as good as possible. Good choice! Best regards, Sigrid Lyslo Wilhelmsen

Head of Event

of Klimaspillet, where I have learned how a student company is organized and run.

Running for election: ü Hanna Steine ü Hans-Kristian Undlien Taje

Presentation of Hanna Steine

My time as head of inclusion showed me how important UKA i Ås is to increase the well-being and create good memories for the students in Ås. I got to work closely with several other KSs, observed the organization's structure, and how voluntary efforts can build up a 26-day festival. In the aftermath of the festival, I by no means feel done with the UKE organization, and I am ready to contribute further! Personally, I love to build something from scratch, watch it flourish, and be involved from start to end. I have learned how invaluable it is to plan an event down to the smallest detail, and how to make a complete turnaround when things do not go as planned. From experience, good coordination within and out to external partners is essential.

Honourable General Assembly! My name is Hanna, I am 21 years old, studying my second year at renewable energy, and I am running for election as Head of Event for UKA i Ås 2022! Since I arrived at Ås during the autumn of 2019, I have been both high and low. I am, according to my friends, above average glad to have a lot on my plate. Consequently, during my first autumn, I became KS for UKA i Ås, joined the marketing group for Energiseminaret, and became an instructor for Klimaspillet. Since then, I have been head of event for Energiseminaret 2021, where my responsibilities included all the technical and practical details related to the event. I currently sit as one of the department leaders

I want to contribute to make any event during UKA into a meeting place, where you meet new and old friends, discover your new favourite artist, be introduced to the good Ås traditions, and so much more! I will work on building a varied, exciting and new program. At the same time, I believe that dreaming big, and looking beyond boundaries is one of the most important things I can contribute with. Most of all, I want to create a UKE where everyone experiences at least one event where they leave Samfunnet in ecstatic. Lastly, I see myself as an energetic, solutionoriented and dedicated person. I work well with other people, and stress is just an old friend. If the General Assembly allowes me, I will make sure that UKA i Ås 2022, in-between two anniversary UKER, is at least as spectacular! Wish you all a good election! Best regards, Hanna Steine

resulted in a wholesome concert experience, both for the artist and the audience. Other than that, I want to offer additional events to the students under 20 years on concert nights. It is important to offer all of our guests entertainment. I want everyone to feel included even though the sløyfa is an attraction for the visitors over 20 years. My very best trait in the position is my ability to spread energy and be a caring character. There is an large amount of work ahead of both those under the event block and those I may be elected to the board with. Therefore I know my ability to be there for my coworkers will come in handy. I want to do my best to support my coworkers. I hope you entrust me with this task. Good election!

Honored General Assembly! My name is Hans-Kristian Undlien Taje. I am 22 years old and come from Vestby. I am studying in my 3rd year of water and environmental engineering and hereby announce my candicacy as Chief of events for UKA i Ås 2022. My first meeting with UKA i Ås was during my first month at NMBU in 2018. I had a buddy who encouraged us to volunteer for UKA. I ended up as a carpenter for UKA i Ås 2018, and this gave me additional motivation. Therefore, I applied to the UKA i Ås 2020 position; chief of sponsorship. I gained many useful experiences, but I do not feel I have shown my full potential yet. There is nothing that pleases me more than the commitment the students show to arrange events. Ås isn’t the biggest place in the world, but we make our own entertainment. That's why I want to run for chief of event. My main goal is to arrange the concerts in a nice and tidy way. 2020 was an UKA with reduced capacity on Samfunnet. This meant that we had 200 tickets, where 200 also showed up. This

life was what I missed and what I want to spend my time here on.

Running for election: ü Isak Rakstang

Presentation of Isak Rakstang

Dear General Assembly! My name is Isak Rakstang, I am 22 years old and come from Hamar. Here at NMBU I study Geomatics in my second year and I hereby run as head of marketing at UKA in Ås. 2020 was supposed to be the year my student life was going to fully start. With one thing comes another, so I joined Over Rævne, became a student contact for NITO, joined the photo committee on Samfunnet as well as “NK foto” during UKA 2020. When March came it turned out to be anything but an active student life, and all the fun was put on hold. Although it was boring it was a great way to get confirmation that participation in the student

What we could go through with on the other hand, was UKA 2020. The achievement of hosting Norway's longest cultural festival while the Corona pandemic was active is incredible and I am surprised that it did not create major media coverage and blew all cultural Norways minds. I personally was shocked at how much can be achieved with the student spirit and knew for sure I had to take a bigger part in it. What drives me to get involved in the student community is that my interests are very wide, and I would rather have a foot in all camps. In marketing, I have experience from several parts of the process, and have a genuine understanding of the work and importance of each part. I think such versatility is a trait that comes in handy in this position, where one cooperates across a variety of fields and with many different people. Working with different people is something I love very much, which is essential to pushing each other further. The work on marketing is especially important now that we can hopefully put behind us a special year, where the experience of the community at Ås has been limited. After this year, it is important that the good spirit of Ås is passed on to the new students. I think my willingness to stand on, versatility and love for working with people will fit well as head of marketing for UKA 2022. Good election! Yours sincerely Isak Rakstang

Head of Revue Running for election: ü Mathilde Jordal Breivik

Presentation of Mathilde Jordal Breivik

Honored general assembly! My name is Mathilde Jordal Breivik, and I am hereby running for election as revue leader for UKA in Ås 2022! I am 23 years old, come from Årdal in Ryfylke, and I am on my second year of studying environmental physics and renewable energy. In these two years I have had time to fall head over heels for Ås, the teeming student union life, the inspiring commitment of the students, and not least, UKA in Ås. The UKErevue is especially close to my heart, and now I am yearning to be a part of the production of yet a spectacular revue, and with a wider scope of work. In 2019/2020 I was stage manager in the revue block. Many might recognize me as the one who bored the audience through long fire instructions and countless infection control rules before the revue shows, but I can promise that the position offered much more than that! The main responsibility was

information flow and logistics concerning everything that involved the actors, and I participated in practically everything the actors did. It was a very valuable position where I got to be a part of both the creative and the organizational to equal degrees. I had a good cooperation with everyone on the block and through trial and error we found ingenious routines and time saving measures that I would like to extend to the next revue block. I want to make the production of the UKErevue 2022 as amazing an experience as I had in 2020. I want to focus on well-being, good communication, and on a quality that makes the revue go a bit further than previous years. This is something that I am truly passionate about, and as revue leader I will do my utmost to make sure that Aud.Max scene is adorned with revue joy yet again. This UKEyear comes between the 50th UKA and the 100-year anniversary of the revue in 2024, but in no way will there be made an exception from making another superb production. I am also highly motivated to get some insight in the festival management itself, and a potential seat on the board will be treated as my first priority. Being on the UKA board will be a big responsibility, but after a very constructive year as committee leader I now feel ready for something more. If there is anything I have learned from my time in Ås, it is that it is best to just jump straight in, whether it is into Andedammen or another volunteer position. In this case I choose to sprint for the UKEboard and revue leader hoping for a successful stage dive! I wish everyone a good election! Best regards Mathilde Jordal Breivik

Head of Serving Running for election: ü Ingeborg Olsdatter Ohren Nordraak ü Emma Nguyen

to make a bar menu, choose what is being served, quality assure the serving offer and see it works in practice is what remains the most fun from UKA i Ås 2020. The job also made me more familiar with the serving block for UKA. From the board of my study’s organization, the Student Parliament, and Nordic Games, I have experienced how rewarding a committed everyday life is. I am now ready to dive into UKA 2022. As Head of Serving for UKA i Ås, structure, control and a good overview will be incredibly important. At the same time, I want to emphasize how important it is to look outside the box and think new. I want to work to ensure that the bar and serving is so tempting that you have to visit UKA more than once, every guest event so glamorous that they cannot wait until the next UKA i Ås, and that the food is better than everything else Ås has to offer!

Honourable general assembly! My name is Ingeborg Olsdatter Ohren Nordraak, and I am standing for election as Head of Serving for the UKE Board 2022! I am 23 years old, come from Hadeland and I am in my third year at Renewable Energy. After a few weeks at Ås, I decided to get involved during UKA 2018, then volunteering as a guard. This left me wanting more, and during UKA i Ås 2020 I wanted to contribute further, this time as bar manager for my local association's bar in Spritsløyfa. Being responsible for part of the design of Spritsløyfa, and its own volunteers, was exciting. Being a bar manager for UKA i Ås gave me an even greater joy than in 2018. Being able

As a person, I am solution-oriented and structured. For me, good cooperation and good communication are absolute essentials. It will also be important to have confidence that the KS’s can do a good job. I will do my best to get everyone in the serving block on board. I am open to the opinions of others, but not afraid to make final decisions, even at short notice. Therefore, I believe that I have what it takes to do a good job as Head of Serving for UKA i Ås. I have had some of my very best moments as a student during UKA i Ås 2018 and 2020, and want our festival to be a highlight for all students at NMBU. I will contribute to this. Hope you will trust me with the job! Wish you all a good election! Best regards Ingeborg Olsdatter Ohren Nordraak

I have always been a very structured and organized person, and I am not afraid to step up if I have to. As a potential part of the UKE board I believe I would be a good contribution to a team that lifts each other up and makes good decisions. Cooperation and communication is key, and everyone should be heard. With insight within food and drinks from my previous positions in the serving block I have acquired knowledge and experience that I believe will be a great benefit as the Head of Serving. I have got a good grip of what to expect and is expected during an open house. With the serving team I want what we offer to appeal to the vast majority of the student body, so that UKA in Ås will be a great happening for everyone.

Honorable General Assembly! My name is Emma Nguyen and as of this moment I am officially running for Head of Serving for UKA in Ås 2022. I am 22 years old, from Sarpsborg and currently on my third year studying chemistry. I got the best possible start to the student-life when I started at NMBU fall of 2018. As a new student I was standing in front of the Clock building with “It is UKA – the month, the year, the life” stuck in my head. That lead me to working for UKEgrillen for UKA in Ås 2018 and later as barmanager for UKA in Ås 2020. In addition to that, I am now going into my fifth semester as a member of the bar-committee and have always been active in the student body. After having witnessed the student body´s involvement and the work they are doing over several years, I now want give back to the student body as a part of the UKE board in 2022.

We had an amazing UKA in Ås in 2020 despite the restrictions that was working against realizing UKA last year, and I can only imagine everything that we can accomplish for UKA in Ås 2022 without restrictions and the house as a continuous circus again. NMBU and UKA in Ås have given me experience, memories and friends for life. That is why I now want to take an even bigger part in all the joy and hard work that is behind planning and executing such an enormous happening as Norway’s longest cultural festival. I am aware of the challenges that come with this position and that it will be timeconsuming, but I see this as a great opportunity for me to learn and grow as a person. After having experienced two memorable UKE years I am now ready to give it my all to make UKA in Ås 2022 even greater. I hope you will trust me with this responsibility. Happy voting! Best regards, Emma Nguyen

Head of Finance Running for election: ü Jørgen Måleng

Presentation of Jørgen Måleng

I first sat one semester as a committee member, and went on to become event manager, which I’m newly done with. Recently I’ve also became a student parliament representative for the Business school and started on the fun life in a social student association. But I’m ready for new and bigger challenges. UKA in Ås 2020 var my first UKE and I had been looking forward to one of the best months in my life for a long time. And UKA in Ås 2020 lived up to the expectations both with the concerts and the parties. But what made it extra special was that I could contribute as a voluntary to make UKA in Ås 2020 even better for my fellow students. Even though UKA in Ås 2020 was a blast, I still hear that it’s even better without corona, and therefore I want to be there from the very start with a goal to make UKA I Ås 2022 the best UKA ever!

Honorable general assembly! My name is Jørgen Måleng and I am officially running as Chief of economics for UKA in Ås 2022. I’m 20 years old and I come form a small town in Østfold called Våler. I’m currently on my second year of a bachelor’s in business administration and I’m planning on taking my master’s degree at NMBU as well. Early on I decided to start at NMBU because of everything I had heard about the good student environment. And the choice of Ås is the best choice I’ve ever made. Not just because of the student environment, but also because of how easy it is for students to be involved and contribute to make it even better. I engaged in Optimum, which is the line association for the business school, in my first weeks as a student.

Through voluntary work, school, and my everyday job I’ve learned how I work in a team, and how I am as a leader. Because I also study business administration I have worked up knowledge that I would benefit from to do a good job in this position. With me as Chief of economics you will get an economy student with a stand at will and a burning engagement for the student environment, NMBU and UKA in Ås. I hope that my motivation, combined with my professional direction and engagement would make you consider me as your next Chief of economics for UKA in Ås 2022. Good election! Best regards! Jørgen Måleng
