Honored General Assembly! My name is Frida, I am 23 years old and in my fourth year of environmental science studies. I hereby wish to run for the position as bodegasjef in Samfunnstyret. For almost four years, I have been fortunate to call Ås my home. I moved here from my hometown Grimstad without knowing anyone here, and I quickly realized that Samfunnet was the place for friendship and valuable networks. Despite a somewhat restricted house during my first year due to the pandemic, I could still see how Samfunnet contributed to social cohesion and collaboration, all based on voluntary efforts. The fact that Samfunnet is run by and for
students means a lot to me. Now, I want to contribute more to this. Samfunnet is a house with many different functions, and for many, it might be a second home. It's a place to hang out, read, hold meetings, practice, and party. I want the students here in Ås to have a sense of belonging to Samfunnet and, most importantly, to the house itself. As bodegasjef, I want to work towards achieving this and continuing this development. To do this, I believe that a well thought-out plan for space utilization in the building is essential, especially as there are renovations planned for parts of Samfunnet. During my years here in Ås, I have been involved as a dancer in UKErevyen 2022, served as the vice-leader and board member of my student association, been a committee member, and later had the pleasure of being the committee leader (KS) for Klubben. My role as KS has given me valuable leadership experience and a good understanding of - and collaboration with - the other dedicated volunteers at Samfunnet, especially in the bodegablokka. Over the course of about two years as KS, I have contributed to developing Klubben from a newly opened cafe during the pandemic to the popular place we have today. I like having long-term goals, seeing that I can contribute to further development, and that it benefits the student body. I believe that these experiences will be valuable in the role as bodegasjef. I am well-acquainted with the bodegablokka, as well as what happens in the house both in the evening and, most importantly, during the daytime. As bodegasjef, I will emphasize collaboration among the Kses and give clear directions. It is important to me to trust in their knowledge and provide support while taking responsibility. I do not feel finished as a volunteer and want to do more for Samfunnet. With this, I hope you will grant me

Honourable General Assembly! My name is Natalie Slaatsveen Nazareno, I am 23 years old, and I am on my final year of a master’s in international environmental studies. This is my second year in Ås, and my time here has been filled with different volunteer positions at Samfunnet. For my final year in Ås, I hereby wish to run for election as the Administrative Leader at Samfunnet in Ås. Samfunnet and volunteering has been central since I started in Ås. The autumn of 2022 started with a bang, it was time for UKA in Ås, and I got to try out the position as a bar technician. Working during UKA was a great first step into the student life at NMBU and gave me the opportunity to get to know other volunteers as well as the different positions and opportunities one can partake in beside one’s studies. The position left me wanting more, and once UKA was over, I became a member of the Disco Committee. Once again did the position not only give me invaluable experience and new knowledge, but it also introduced me to new social arenas. This summer, I took on new roles at
Samfunnet, as I felt like I wanted to try new tasks and challenges. I went from the concert unit to being a translator at Tuntreet as well as a committee member in Sprell. These positions have taught me a lot about what is going on at the different scenes in Ås and at Samfunnet. In addition, I have been the administrative assistant at Samfunnet for nearly a semester. This opportunity has given me a lot of new knowledge about how Samfunnet is run on a day-to-day basis and what is required for all small and bigger events to run smoothly. I have gained a wide variety of experiences from the different positions, and over time I have realised that I enjoy the extra responsibility and work tasks. It is especially the role as administrative assistant and the opportunity to work with other committee leaders and the board that have inspired me to run for election. During my time as admin assistant, I have gained different skills within administrative work as well as knowledge about different systems used at Samfunnet, such as LinTicket. There is still a lot I am not sure of; however, I am curious and open to new challenges and opportunities to learn. The role as admin assistant has given me experiences and knowledge which I think will be important in the position as administrative leader. I wish to spend my final year here in Ås making Samfunnet even more available for students and continue the important work of maintaining the excellent student experience and feeling of belonging.

I have for instance sewn costumes for the revue of UKA, led my study association, served as the head of my choir and our revue, organized the auction of UKA, all while dedicating more and more of my free time to Tuntreet. So, now I feel quite experienced in navigating both myself and others through the colorful landscape of Ås! I now want to step up as editor because I am eager to give back even more to Tuntreet and rest of the student society. I am 23 years old, on my fourth year of studying Environmental Physics and Renewable Energy, and currently head of photography in Tuntreet. When I first joined Tuntreet two years ago as a photographer, I never would have imagined it to become such an important part of my time as a student. It has been a pleasure serving as the head of Tuntreet’s photo committee for the past year. I have been lucky to work with a great bunch of people, who has grown from just two photographers to a full-fledged committee during 2023. I am proud to have the opportunity to coordinate, teach and learn from a committee with people of such diverse backgrounds. During my time in Tuntreet, I have always been ready to jump in and help whenever and wherever needed, and I am going to be an accessible editor for my team and anyone else who wants to contribute, suggest ideas or discuss. I want to foster great collaborations between Tuntreet and other organizations within and outside Samfunnet’s many walls, so we can make the most of our student newspaper, together. Also, I am quite fond of special editions, like Tun & Tre, which I believe works as a great and needed creative outlet! I have a sharp eye for details, which I see as very helpful during the long nights I have spent putting editions of Tuntreet together as head of photography. Partially spontaneously, during my first year in Ås, I chose to engage with the business community through my role as an buisness officer in the student association. Since I began at NMBU a little over a year ago, I have taken great joy in being a part of everything Samfunnet is and does for the student community. Even as a volunteer during last year's UKA festival, I got a sense of how vital engagement and volunteer work are in a small place like Ås. When the opportunity arose to run for the position as Head of Administration in the Business Committee, I quickly realized that this was a role that would suit me well. Honorable General Assembly<3 My name is Mariann Mosvold, and I am a candidate for the position as Sponsorsjef for the following two terms in Næringslivsutvalget. I am 23 years old and currently at my second year doing bachelors in renewable energy. In August 2022, I was a new student here in Ås. At Graskurs part 1 I showed my interest as Sponsor assistant, and right before UKA2022 I got the job! It was a lot to learn, from names and positions to traditions and work. All of my team-members and Sponsorsjef were at their last year of masters, and prepared themselves to leave NMBU. They naturally wanted me to apply for the Sponsorsjef position at GF right before they left. I was honest with them and told them I did not feel ready at all. Luckily for me, Kristian Walland was selected and I could continue as an assistant! He has done an outstanding job with building a whole new Sponsor team from scratch. He is open for improvements and opinions, encouraging and a very kind co-worker.

years, I will prioritize using the time to look at Studentsamfunnets membership scheme, on new methods of using the work program and on following up the Aud Max renovation on behalf of the Studensamfunnet i Ås.

Now that we will hopefully get a new Long-Term Strategy, it is also time to look at the use of the work programme. This is what contains the actual points that members say through the General Assembly that the boards should work on. This document should be given a more important role, both among the boards, but also to the members, so that Studentsamfunnet operation takes place as the members want it. I also want to look at the membership scheme we have here at the house. This has been fairly similar for a long time, and I would like to set up a working group to see if we can come up with a better proposal. To name a few, there are approx. 2,500 members, and all of these must have one or two community services per semester, but there is not that much work. There is therefore some room here to find improvements.
My name is Erik Sand, and I am hereby running for External representative in Hus- og Finansstyret. I started at NMBU in 2016 on Geomatics, and graduated with a master's degree in 2021. Today I live in Langhus and work in Oslo. Since the autumn of 2021, I have been a Life Member of Studentsamfunnet and External Representative in Hus- og Finansstyret, which I hope to gain the trust to continue with.
Finally, I have been appointed to follow up the Aud Max renovation on behalf of Studentsamfunnet, and want to spend a lot of time making sure that this concert hall is better than it has ever been. I will insist that support schemes are sought, and that Studentsamfunnet contributes to what we are good at, namely hard work to try to get NMBU's project to benefit us as much as possible.
I want to continue as an external representative as this is a position where you can get a lot done, depending on how much effort you put in. Dear General Assembly! My name is Hedda Mejlænder-Larsen, and I hereby run for election as an external representative on the Board of House and Finance. After five great years at Ås, I finished a master's degree in Industrial Economics this spring and in August I started adult life in a full-time job. Almost half a year has passed since the thesis was submitted and that I now have more time to spare. I would like to spend some of this time at the Studentsamfunnet i Ås. My time as a student flew by, and a lot of time and joy was given at Samfunnet. The experiences and knowledge I am left with mean that I can have a lot to contribute to the Board of House and Finance. It didn't take long before I discovered that NMBU has the best student environment in Norway. Here it is both great fun and easy to get involved, much of this is thanks to Studentsamfunnet. From the very beginning till the end of my time as a student, I was hooked and much of my study time was spent volunteering at the Studentsamfunnet . For me, it all started with joining the public order committee in godfather's week, to becoming a clerk the same autumn during UKA in Ås 2018 and from there it just continued. Furthermore, during my studies, I have been in charge of duty, KS for both UKA and Samfunnet, bar attendant and head of the Samfunnsstyret
H21/V22. It has made me very familiar with the building and the work that the students do to get the wheels turning. Especially during my time on the Samfunnsstyret , I had the opportunity to see the valuable work all the bodies do for the student body. The various positions have given me a lot of good experience and learning, including working in a solution-oriented manner and collaborating well with different people to find common goals. These experiences I think I can contribute well to in the role of external representative. I have spent a lot of time at Samfunnet both as a volunteer and as a guest. The fact that I have recently finished as a student means that I still have the experience of being a user of Samfunnsbygget still fresh in my mind. I think this can be an advantage to ensure that the long-term investments and choices made in the Board of House and Finance benefit the students. The student community has been an arena where I have had the opportunity to challenge myself, learn a lot and have made good friendships that I have enjoyed greatly. I want to help more people experience this, both the Thorvald and Tora of the present and the future. I hope you will give me your trust as an external representative on the Board of House and Finance. Good election!
