Thestudentbodyisconstantlychanging,andit isimportantthatSamfunnetremainsanatural andattractiveplaceforNMBU’sstudents. Targetedvisibilityeffortsaimedatnew studentswillplayacentralroleinengaging themwithSamfunnet.Fromdayone,itshould benaturalforallstudentstouseourbeautiful buildingformeetings,study,socialevenings, andasasafevenueforparties.Astrong collaborationwiththeBuddyWeek,theother studentorganizations,andNMBUiscrucialto achievethisgoal.Inthelongrun,itcanhelp moremembersmovefromsimplybeinga membertoactivelyjoiningacommittee.
Beforelong,Aud.Max.willclosefor renovations,andthelargerpartiesandconcerts aregoingtochange.Itisthereforeessentialto beaheadofthischallenge,byofferinggood anddynamicalternativesthatmakeitattractive toenjoySamfunnet.Greaterutilizationofother roomsinthebuilding,alongwithmoreflexible solutions,iskeytoensuringthattheÅs studentscontinuetoattendourparties.Itis importantthatwedonotlosethemomentum thatSamfunnetcurrentlyhasduringthis constructionprocess.Nowisanexcellenttime totryoutnewideasandbecreativeinhowwe organizeourevents.
Fromdayone,Ihavebeenanengaged studenthereatNMBU.Afterjustoneweek, Ijoinedthebarcommittee,andsincethenI haven’tlookedback.Overthepastyear,I havehadthepleasureofservingas committeeleaderforbothsamfunnetand UKA,withresponsibilityfororganizing parties.ThroughmyroleasOKD,Ihave gainedvaluableinsightintohowSamfunnet operates,theimportanceofandtherolesplayed bythevariouscommittees,andnotleast,how muchvolunteerscanaccomplishthrough collaborationanddetermination.Iamalsovery activeinStudentDemocracy,currentlyserving asthePresidentoftheStudentParliament.Here Ihavegainedconsiderableexperience collaboratingwithNMBU,SiÅs,andother relevantpeople.
Withmybroadexperienceinbothstrategicand organizationalworkathigherlevels,aswellas thepracticalknowledgefromorganizingboth largeandsmallparties,IbelieveIamwell suitedtoaddressthechallengesSamfunnetwill faceinthecomingperiod.Mymotivationfora yearfullofexcitingchallengesandgreat collaborationsisatitspeak.

Samfunnethasbeenaninvaluablepartofmy timeatNMBU,somemightevensayalittletoo bigapart(asifthat’sevenpossible).Iama frequentparticipantinSamfunnet’seventsand havebeenamemberofthesecuritycommittee sinceAugust2023.Beingpartofthesecurity committeehasgivenmegreatjoyandvaluable experience,andnowIwanttocontributeeven more,notjustbyensuringsafetyduringevent nights,butalsobyplanningandcreatinggreat, safe,and,mostimportantly,funeventsforall studentsatÅs.
EventsarewhatbringSamfunnet’smembers togetherandmakeitanessentialarenafor NMBUstudents.Itisthroughthesegatherings thatSamfunnetthrives,andthesearethetimes werememberthebest(orperhapsdon’t rememberatall).Ihavepreviousexperiencein eventplanning,includingorganizingthe StudentParliamentgatheringatGardermoen,as wellasseveralsmallereventsforvarious associations.
IhopetoearnyourtrustasHeadofEventsin theSamfunnetBoard.Iwillworktoensurethat Samfunnetremainsasafeandfestivespacefor allstudentsatAgrarmetropolen.

Idon'thavemucheditorialexperiencefrommy timebeforeTuntréet,butIhaveworkedasa journalistforquitesomtimenow thatIam startingtoknowthenewspaperwell.Ialso believethatIhavegoodcompetenceinleading people,whichIhavegainedfrommytimeasa conscriptinHMtheKing'sGuard.Iam outgoing,lovetowriteandlovetolearnnew things,andIwouldlovetohavetheoppurtunity tolearntobeyourneweditor.
Forme,Tuntréetis,andshouldbe,asafe spaceforusstudentsatÅs.Itshouldbeused fordebate,readercontributionsandjustified criticism,butalsofunctionasamouthpiecefor thestudents–aimeddirectlyatNMBUandÅs municipalityinparticular.Ialsowantmore culturalcontentinthenewspaper,whetheritis reviewsorrecommendationsofmusic, literature,filmortheatre.Andofcoursealotof nonsenseinaddition,otherwiseitwouldnot havebeenTuntréet!

UKAin2026willfacenewchallenges, particularlywiththerenovationofAud.Max. Thiswillrequireextensiveplanningand innovativethinkingtosuccessfullycarryout thefestival,andIbelieveIcanbeavaluable contributortoachievingthis!
Inadditiontotherolesalreadymentionedinthe carpentrycommitteeandpreviousUKA festivals,Icurrentlyamthepoliticalviceleader ofØstfoldBygdeungdomslag.In2024,Iwas involvedinorganizingthenationalgatheringof NorgesBygdeungdomslag,aweek-longfestival thatbringstogetherover2,000people!Iseethe experiencefromthisashighlyvaluablefor UKAin2026.
Mypreviousandcurrentroleshaveprovided mewithvaluableexperienceinorganizational work,coordination,andcommunication.Others woulddescribemeashardworking, responsible,andaccommodating.As OperationsManager,Iwillworktoensure goodcommunicationandstrongrelationships withintheoperationsteam.Itisimportantto createanopenandpositiveenvironmentwhere ideasandinputarewarmlywelcomed.After all,thisisvolunteerwork,anditshouldbefun tocontributetobuildingthegreatUKAfeeling!

FrommyveryfirstsemesterhereatNMBU,it becamecleartomethattherevueandtheater communityisasignificantandessentialpartof studentlife.Asthepassionatelittletheaternerd thatIam,Iknewitwouldn’ttakelongbeforeI gotinvolvedmyself.Ihadtheopportunitytobe theassistantdirector(NK)fortheNorwegian StudentRevueChampionshipduringlastyear’s UKAfestival,whereIwasintroducedtothe revueblock.Sincethen,Ihavebeenrestlessly waitingforthenextopportunitytoworkwith revues,anditdidn’ttakelongbeforeIapplied tojoinacommitteededicatedtojustthat–the brand-newrevuecommittee!
IammotivatedforthispositionbecauseIhave previouslybeenarevuedirectorandhave dearlymissedit.Itisstressfulanddemanding, butintheend,itisalwaysworthit–withnew friendships,greatexperiences,andanamazing showasthefinalproduct.Additionally,Iam eagertocontributetomaintainingthefantastic communityhereinÅs,andIamexcitedabout puttingtogetheranincrediblerevueforthenext UKAfestival.
Iam19yearsold(turning20inMay),which meansIarrivedinÅsfreshoutofhighschool.I wasbornandraisedonNesodden,whereI attendedNesoddenHighSchool.There,Iwas therevuedirectorforNesoddrevyen2024–ESCAPEROOM,whichturnedouttobea hugesuccess!Thiswasaparticularlyspecial experiencebecause,duetothepandemic,there hadbeennorevueatNesoddenforfouryears. Wehadtostartentirelyfromscratch—applying forfunding,recruitingabandandactors,as wellasgatheringvolunteerstoassistbackstage.
Despiteallodds,wemanagedtosellout almosteveryperformance,raiseasignificant amountofmoneyfornextyear’srevue,and receiveasolidratingof4outof6from BudstikkaOslo!
Additionally,Ihaveextensivetheater experience,bothonandoffthestage.Idid musicaltheaterforsixyearsasastudentat NesoddenTeaterfabrikk,whereIperformedas
anactorandhelpedbackstagewithother productions.Ihaveessentiallygrownupinthe theaterworldandamveryfamiliarwithhow everythingworks.
Inthisrole,Iwanttocontributewithmy knowledgeofrevueproductionandtheaterarts whilespreadingsmilesandapositive atmosphereamongthoseinvolvedinthe production.Afterall,revueisthebestthingin theworld!Ialsowanttolearnmoreaboutthe studentsocietyandhowthingswork"behind thescenes,"andmostimportantly,Ilook forwardtogettingtoknowallofyou hardworkingpeoplewhokeepthiscommunity running.

WhenIarrivedtoÅsin2023,Ineverimagined thatIwouldgetinvolvedinsomanyactivities. ButintrueÅsspirit,Iquicklyfoundmyself engagedinvariouspositionsandhobbies.Justa fewmonthsintomystudies,Iappliedto becomeNKstageandpropsforUKA2024.To thisday,Idonotregretasinglemomentofthat decision.Ittrulyopenedmyhearttorevue!As NKstageandpropsintherevuedivision,Igot toexperiencetheuniqueenergyandsolidarity thatmaketherevuetheabsolutehighlightof UKA.Workingcloselywithscenography, props,andproductionwasanincredible experience,strengtheningmyabilitytohandle large,creativeprojectsundertimepressure.
AfterminiUKA,Irantobecometheleaderof mystudentassociationandamnowonmy secondyearastheleader.Additionally,six monthslaterIbecametheleaderofasub-group inNMBUI.Thesepositionshavegivenme solidskillsincoordination,communication, andbringingpeopletogethertoworktowarda commongoal.
EvenbeforeandafterIbecameactiveinthe revuedivision,Ihavelovedwatchingthe variousrevuesperformedinÅs.Thereis somethingtrulyspecialabouthoweach organizationbringsitsownuniquestyleand humour,reflectingbothstudentlifeandthe creativityonÅs.Now,Iwanttobepartof shapingarevuethatbothhonourstraditionsand introducesnew,excitingelements.Arevuethat engages,surprises,andbecomesan unforgettableexperienceforboththe participantsandtheaudience.

Notlongafterarriving,IjoinedtheSecurity Committee,whereIgotmyfirstinsightinto studentvolunteering.Ialsoengagedinthe associationsociety,becameresponsiblefor company-relationsinmylineassociation,and wasluckyenoughtobeaSTUNTfunkis duringUKA2024.ShortlybeforeUKA,Ialso becameVaktansvarlig(security-responsible) intheSecurityCommittee.
Throughtheseroles,IgottoseeUKAand especiallytheUKEspiritfrommultiple perspectives,andIcan’tsayanythingother thanthatIamimpressedandproudofwhat studentvolunteeringcanachievehereinÅs.
AsHeadofPartyManager,myprimaryfocus willbeensuringthateveryonefeelssafe,both thoseworkingandthoseattendingtheevents. Tomakethispossible,clearinstructionsand routinesmustbeinplace,andallvolunteers mustreceivepropertraining.Withnearlytwo yearsofexperienceineventmanagement,I believeIhaveagoodunderstandingofwhat happensduringpartynightsatSamfunnet.I willbuildonwhatalreadyworkswellwhile alsoidentifyingareasforimprovement somethingIbelieveisimportantforthisrole.

DuringMiniUKA2024,Iworkedextensively withtheHankatt/Hunkattbar,bothinfrontand behindthecounter.There,Igainedvaluable experienceonwhatworkedwell–and,more importantly,whatcanbeimprovedforthenext UKA(which,ofcourse,willbeevenbetter!).
MygoalforUKA2026istobuildastrong problem-solvingenvironment,ensuringthat thoseworkinghavethefreedomandsupportto makethebestdecisionsforanunforgettable partyexperience.

MynameisSunnivaMcNamaraHundere(21 yearsold),andIcomefromAsker.Iaminmy secondyearatÅs,currentlyinmyfirstyearof InternationalEnvironmentandDevelopment studies.Iherebywishtorunforthepositionof HeadofEventsintheUKEstyret.
SinceIstartedatÅs,Ihaveheldvolunteer positionsforSamfunnet.Inmyfirstsemester, Fall2023,IappliedforOrdensvernandbecame aSecuritySupervisorthefollowingsemester. Thispositionhastaughtmehowpartynights andconcertsatSamfunnetoperate,aswellas theimportanceofgoodcollaborationbetween differentcommitteestoensureagreatevent. DuringUKA2024,IworkedasaSecurity Supervisor,whereIlearnedhowcrucialgood communicationis—and,mostimportantly,how essentialcooperationbetweencommitteesis.
MytimeinÅssofarhasshownmehow enjoyablevolunteerworkis,andInow understandwhysomanystudentswantto contributetomakingNorway’sbeststudent-run festivalasgreataspossible.Iexperiencedthe festivalforthefirsttimethisfallandwastruly impressedbyhowwellitwasexecuted.As HeadofEvents,Iwanttocontributemy experienceinorganizingpartynightsandmy strongdesiretoensurethatfuturestudentscan enjoyUKAasmuchasIdid.
Forthisposition,Ibringdedicationanda solution-orientedmindsettomywork.When workingatSamfunnet,Iprioritizeexcellent customerservice,ensuringthatguestsfeel welcomeandhaveagreatexperience.Ilove beingaroundpeopleandameasytotalkto. Thesequalitieswereparticularlybeneficial whenIworkedinhomecareservicesandasa receptionist.TheexperienceIgainedfromthese jobshastaughtmetostayorganizedand structured,evenwhenjugglingmultipletasks. Thiswillbeanadvantageinarolethatrequires extensiveplanninganddecision-making.
IwillmakesurethatUKA2026isasuccess,andI hopeyouwillgivemethehonorofbeingthenext HeadofEvents.

DuringmyshorttimehereatÅs,Ihaverealizedhow importantvoluntaryandsociallifeisforthestudents here.Becauseofthis,Ihaveworkedhardtoparticipate myself,andIhavebeenfortunateenoughtobe involvedinseveralcommitteesandboards.Among these,IwouldliketohighlightmypositionasNKBar duringUKA2024andmypositionasbarmanagerat Samfunnetafterwards.Here,Ihavebeenableto achievehands-onexperienceonhowthesystem functions.Furthermore,Iamresponsiblefortheevents atNMBUIClimbingClubandfortheeconomicsof theCRE8conference,whereIgettoengagemorein theorganizationalaspects.Now,Iamlookingfornew challengesandtodivedeeperintothewonderful cultureatÅs.
Ihaveastronginterestinthisposition,asIam passionateaboutcreatinggreatexperiencesand providingthebestpossibleservice.Itistemptingto contributetothefurtherdevelopmentofagoodsystem forhowthefestivalshouldtakeplace.Mygoalisto ensurethatoneofthecountry'slargeststudentfestivals maintainshighquality,evenwiththerenovationof AudMax,sothatthefestivalcanbeexperiencedas normallyaspossible.Thisrenovationwillposenew challengesbutcanalsoprovidenewopportunities.
Iseethispositionasanopportunityforpersonal developmentaswellasachancetolearnmoreabout theorganization.Mymotivationcomesfromwhen thosearoundmesmileandenjoywhattheydo.Iwant tobesomeonethatotherscanleanon,sothatthe servicesremainatalevelofhighquality.Itis importantformetolistentomyfellowstudentssothat everyoneisheardintheirwishes.Iwillensurethatall involved,includingKS,NK,andvolunteers,feel secureintheirroles.Ithriveonteamworkandam alwayscheerful,Inevergiveupandprefertofocus moreonopportunitiesratherthan
obstacles.WhenIcommittosomething,Idoit thoroughly.
