Message from the Sam Fox School We are excited to host our second virtual Sam Fox School Scholarship Celebration.

Although we hope future years bring a return to the in-person event that has become a special tradition, we are enjoying the chance to connect with and honor more scholarship donors than ever through our digital platform. Thank you for joining us on the small screen!

Our celebration comes at a time of continued uncertainty and challenges, both nationally and globally. Scholarships are critical as we ensure that students of all backgrounds can become a part of our community. Thanks to the extraordinary support of donors and friends, we continue to grow our ability to open the doors wider to the Sam Fox School. Scholarship funding helps us recruit exceptionally talented students, ensures that they can take full advantage of their time on campus, and limits their debt as they move on to the next steps in their professional lives.

In the last fiscal year, donors generously gave $1.6 million for scholarships in the Sam Fox School, which included six new annual scholarships and one new endowed scholarship. We are pleased to report that we have a total of 198 named scholarships supporting an incredible range of students across all of our programs. With each scholarship gift, we are more equipped to shape the next generation of architects, artists, and designers who will leave their mark and help fulfill our mission to create a more just, sustainable, humane, and beautiful world.

It is always special to recognize the creative and academic accomplishments of our students and the generosity of our donors. Your commitment to Washington University and our Sam Fox School programs makes this night of celebration possible.
