Q. What is a thing you have that helps you feel connected to others around you ?

A. Humour as it breaks the awkwardness. Kat bonds with people over a laugh from people who understand her humour or possibly even share it.

Q. Do you have a hobby or thing you do to help your mental health ? And why ?

A. Kats key hobby is going to the gym. ‘Helps me silence my mind’ helps knowing that she has the discipline to stick to the gym so much.

Q. How do the connections you have with people help you ?

A. ‘When I’m not as social feel like I go a bit insane’ seeing others and being surrounded by others allow her to have a different view of life.

Q. Is there a piece of media you go to assist your mental ?

A. Music helps with a lot. ‘Music really reflected how I was feeling’ this has an influence over how people feel, she tries to listen to happy music to influence her feelings.

Q. Do you think media affects your mental health ?

A. Kat sees media as both a positive and negative. The fake side of media having a negative effect on how people view it like wanting to be like these people, but they aren’t real, so it sets a false standard.

Q. What inspires you ?

A. Herself and her partner. She is proud of how far she has come in life. And her partner helps her be better and realise the things she can do to be the person she wants to be.

Q. Who influenced you most in life ?

A. Her parents as they’re both hard working so that she wouldn’t be in the same place through had the opportunities they gave her.

Q. What advice would you give to someone going through it ?

A. ‘If today is the worse day of your life tomorrow can’t be the worse it’s gotta be a little better’.

Q. What is your object of interest for this shoot ? and why did you choose to being that in today ?

A. Her headphones. She met someone in the gym who changed her outlook on gym in general her confidence in the gym and they recommended the headphones so is tied to that person and her gym experience.
