2025 President’s Message As your 2025 President, I want to emphasize that our association plays a vital role in your business and our communities. We are actively engaged in government affairs, influencing local elections and advocating for policies that benefit Realtors, property owners and tenants, first time buyers, and our communities.

I first became involved with SAMCAR through our Government Affairs Committee, which has achieved significant successes. At that time, we defeated several rent control initiatives on local ballots. In the most recent election, we supported candidates in twelve cities, three supervisorial districts and one city ballot measure. And we were successful in electing ninety percent of our supported candidates who we now look forward to working with on commonsense solutions to the issues that are facing our industry and cities.

I urge all members to actively participate in local government processes.

Your voice is crucial in shaping policies that affect your livelihoods and communities.

Attend meetings, join committees, and engage with the association to stay informed and contribute to our mission. By actively participating, we can ensure that our values and concerns are reflected in local policies and that SAMCAR effectively serves our needs.
