Aus einem einfachen Handwerksbetrieb wird ein führender Player auf internationalem Parkett.
The company originates from Officine Meccaniche Giovanni Coppo, founded in 1978 in Milan. The brothers Pierluigi and Franco Coppo started an entrepreneurial success story with the acquisition in 1979 of Paderno, a world reference for professional cookware, and in 1997 of Sambonet, a historic Piedmontese cutlery and tableware company. “Sambonet Paderno Industrie" was established and the innovative plant in Orfengo, designed by architect Enrico Frigerio, was inaugurated. This production and logistics hub will guarantee the company a leading role in the world of Retail, Ho.Re.Ca. and Contract, which will be further consolidated with the acquisition in 2009 of the prestigious German porcelain company Rosenthal. With the subsequent entry of Arzberg (2013), Raynaud and Ercuis (2015) and the establishment of "Arcturus Group", was born a leading company for quality, diversification and complementarity of the table and kitchen offer.
L’azienda trova origine dalla società Officine Meccaniche Giovanni Coppo, nata nel 1978 a Milano. I fratelli Pierluigi e Franco Coppo hanno quindi dato il via ad una storia di successo imprenditoriale con l’acquisizione nel 1979 di Paderno, riferimento mondiale per il pentolame professionale, e nel 1997 di Sambonet, storica azienda piemontese di posateria e vasellame. Viene costituita “Sambonet Paderno Industrie” e inaugurato l’innovativo stabilimento di Orfengo, progettato dall’architetto Enrico Frigerio. Questo polo produttivo e logistico garantirà all’azienda un ruolo di primo piano nel mondo Retail, Ho.Re.Ca. e Contract, che si consoliderà ancora di più con l’acquisizione, avvenuta nel 2009, della prestigiosa società tedesca di porcellana Rosenthal. Con il successivo ingresso di Arzberg (2013), Raynaud ed Ercuis (2015) e la costituzione di “Arcturus Group”, nasce una realtà leader per qualità, diversificazione e complementarità dell’offerta tavola e cucina.

Das Unternehmen entsteht aus dem Betrieb "Officine Meccaniche Giovanni Coppo", der 1978 in Mailand aus der Taufe gehoben wurde. Die Brüder Pierluigi und Franco Coppo haben somit den Grundstein für eine Erfolgsgeschichte gelegt. 1979 haben sie Paderno übernommen, eine Firma, die sich weltweit einen Namen im Bereich der Herstellung von professionellen Töpfen gemacht hat, und im Jahr 1997 Sambonet, eine alteingesessene Firma im Piemont, die auf die Produktion von Besteck und Hohlteilen spezialisiert ist. Es wird die „Sambonet Paderno Industrie“ gegründet und die innovative Niederlassung in Orfengo eingeweiht, die vom Architekten Enrico Frigerio entworfen und gebaut wurde. Dieses Produktions- und Logistikzentrum bringt das Unternehmen im Einzelhandelssektor, im Bereich Ho.Re.Ca. und Contract & Hospitality einen weiteren Schritt nach vorn., Mit der Übernahme des renommierten deutschen Porzellanherstellers Rosenthal wird seine Rolle zusätzlich gefestigt. 2013 und 2015 kommen jeweils die Firmen Arzberg und Raynaud und Ercuis dazu, was in die Gründung der „Arcturus Group“ mündet. Es entsteht der Marktführer in den Branchen Tischkultur und Küche, der sich durch Qualität und Vielfalt auszeichnet und dem Handel sich gegenseitig ergänzende Produkte anbieten kann.

We care about our planet and that is why we set our environmental policy on a responsible consumption. We use clean and renewable energy sources such as methane and electricity, or resources to be returned to the environment completely intact – as in the case of the groundwater used in our plant, which is constantly analyzed and monitored by our laboratory.

Dalle fonti energetiche pulite e rinnovabili quali metano ed elettricità, a risorse da restituire all’ambiente completamente integri – come nel caso dell’acqua di falda impiegata nel nostro stabilimento, analizzate e monitorate costantemente dal nostro laboratorio interno.

We define and keep updated high safety standards in favour of our employees and the entire working environment, also going beyond the regulations, according to a long-term projection that is indispensable in our Group vision. This policy is widespread in all our production sites and in 2016 it let us earned a special mention from Confindustria and INAL Italia, for the promotion of "Total Safety Management". Definiamo e aggiorniamo elevati standard di sicurezza a favore dei nostri dipendenti e dell’intero ambiente di lavoro, andando anche oltre alle normative vigenti in materia, secondo una proiezione di lungo termine indispensabile nella nostra visione di Gruppo. Questa politica è diffusa in tutti i nostri siti produttivi e già nel 2016 ci è valsa una gratificante menzione speciale da parte di Confindustria e INAL Italia, per la promozione del “Total Safety Management”. Wir haben hohe Sicherheitsstandards festgelegt und passen diese kontinuierlich an, um unsere Mitarbeiter im gesamten Tätigkeitsbereich zu schützen. Damit halten wir jederzeit die geltenden Normen ein und übertreffen sie sogar - langfristig gesehen ist eine solche Unternehmensvision unumgänglich. Diese Politik erstreckt sich ausnahmslos über alle unsere Produktionsstätten und hat uns im Jahr 2016 ein Lob der Confindustria (Unternehmensverband) und der INAIL Italia (Unfallkasse) eingebracht für die Förderung des "TotalSafetyManagement".

Thanks to our certified Accredia laboratory, ASEC Lab – Alimentary Security Control, we are able to guarantee the suitability and safety of each of our articles placed on the market, both direct and distributed. We can also issue conformity declarations on steel, aluminum, porcelain, glass, plastic and colorants internationally recognized.
