Transformation project for old Feltrinelli industrial area in the suburb of San Giovanni a Teduccio in Naples.
The area was found with a lack of green corridors and lack of biodiversity as a consequence. Also a dominance of unused and potentially contaminated green lands. The complex infrastructure of the area creates a barrier for pedestrians. The main land use of the area is industrial and several of them just plain aban doned.
The main strategies include: the creation of ecological links between the site and spreaded green patches. Also the connection of linear green areas by incorpo rating the Feltrinelli area to the system of green corridors. Revealing the historic streams of Foce del Sebeto river by re-opening canal and building new hydrau lic system for the site. For the connection of the different industrial areas within the actual infrastrucutre different pedestrian and bike friendly paths are proposed.
Metropolitan strategies for the growth of the city of Ouagadou gou.
The urban area of the city of Ouagadougou has grown along a concentric zone pattern with a low density. Economic and administrative activities are con centrated to the downtown areas whereas residential areas extend over the rest of the metropolitan area. An insufficient number of developed parcels, a lack of financial resources for their acquisition as well as land speculation have led to a massive growth of unplanned settlements in the peripheries of the city.
The development of a new railway going through the city will allow for the creation of new centralities as well as new public spaces. This will improve connectivity between the peripheries and the city center. Along this new axis it is important to create a green corri dor to help reducing noise pollution affecting the residential areas near the new railway.

Design of green belt connecting the city sprawl and the rural areas in the periphery of the city of Piacenza.
The main objective of the project was to present viable interventions in the area surrounding the tangenziale in Piacenza to create a better connection between the green spaces and the potential public areas that could be developed in the vacant spaces.
The focus of this includes: Repurposing of the vacant spaces to create quality public spaces, creation of a connection between the vacant spaces and existing parks through soft mobility, use of the canals for the creation of a green and blue system adding vegetation and green corridors next to them, reduction of the expressway’s pollution with the use of nature based solutions, provide new energy resources for different areas of the city.
The area between the city of Piacenza and the neighborhood of Besurica was found to be disconnected from the city center. The area dividing these 2 spaces in clude Parco di Montecucco, some agricultural fields, part of a canal, urban far ming (created by the residents of the area) and some abandoned buildings.
In Parco di Montecucco, interventions can be made to create this place an area for everyone to use. The agricultural fields grow crops year round, which allows these areas to be used as agrovoltaic fields. The greenhouses and urban-far ming beds mainly provide services for the residents of Besurica. Connection is to be created between the divided areas, therefore an expanded cycle network and cyclepaths help to improve the zone and make the city more accessible.
A garden installation designed for a single family house. Part of the design consisted in a multi-functional area with a gathering space and cooking amenities. The important part consists of five farming beds that together with orchard trees grow and produce fruits and vegetables all year long. This part also includes the post-production shed to serve as a storage facility and as a common space.
This project was designed with the purpose of creating a sustainable residence. The location allows for the use of the materials chosen: rammed earth walls and blocks, and concrete. The roof creates the possibility of the implementation of a pv system. The orientation of the house is chosen to have the rammed earth walls with direct sunlight for the whole evening. These type of walls have high insulation and allow for a nice a comfortable environment inside.
