Session 7 Whisper Moments

Woosh!

Instructions: • Ask the group to stand in a circle.

• The aim of the game is to pass the ‘woosh!’ around the circle.

• The ‘woosh!’ can be intercepted or changed by any of the following moves.

Woosh!

The woosh! moves a round the circle fro m o ne player to the next

Players turn to face the perso n o n their rig ht a nd raise their ha nds as they say ‘woosh!’

Splat!

This moves the woosh! in the other d irectio n of the circle

As the player turns a nd says ‘woosh!’, the other player ca n turn to them, raising their ha nds a nd cla ps whi le say ing ‘splat!’

Za p!

Two players switch places in the circle

After the woosh! has been passed to a nother player, they ca n raise their ha nds a nd point to a nother player whi le say ing ‘za p!’. Once they have been za pped they switch places by jum ping across the circle a nd say ing ‘b-doing, b-doing, b-doing…’

Ding-do ng!

Skips the next perso n

Once the woosh! has been passed to them, a player raises their ha nd a nd, pretend ing the next player’s head is a doo r bel l, gently presses o n their head as if it were a doo r bel l whi le say ing ‘Ding-do ng!’

Ta-da!

Everyo ne moves places

W hen the woosh! has been passed to them, the player places both ha nds out into the centre of the circle a nd motio ns as if they were o pening curtains whi le say ing ‘ta-da!’. Everyo ne switches places.

The woosh! is then sta rted again by the leader
