25th / 26th October Corps Music Ministry weekend On Saturday afternoon, singers and instrumentalists from Exeter and surrounding corps are invited to afternoon workshops, followed by a fellowship tea and then a relaxed programme. Please speak to Nigel Crane or Peter Woolway to join in the music-making or come along at 6.30pm to enjoy the results of the music workshops. Our Music Sections will lead our Sunday morning worship We thank Margaret Pope for making the arrangements for ‘The Big Collection’ held at Tesco; the collectors for giving their time and the general public for their generosity, raising over £900! Issue 5 of our Corps magazine ‘Connection’ will be on sale at the beginning of October priced just 50p! Be sure to buy your copy
Prayer Focus For all the people contacted during the BIG Collection For continual guidance as we consider our personal responses to the new purpose teams For all those with long term illnesses; those in hospital or residential care; those recovering from surgery or undergoing treatment, and for all those who are caring for them For our young people returning to University and those students returning to Exeter to study Our Corps Prayer Diary is available in the foyer to give a daily focus on those connected to our fellowship and overseas projects An Ecumenical group meets on the second Saturday of the month to pray for our city. Venues vary so please speak to Major Carol for more details
