Congress News 5 Hello! Welcome to the final edition of Congress News! We hope you have appreciated having information ahead of the event… In this final week, uphold the whole weekend in prayer and pray that God would move powerfully in the Ireland Division. To Him be the glory for all that’s about to take place!

March of Witness (Sun 23 June)

Friends, as we approach our Congress I pray that God will meet your need during our weekend together: may He encourage those who need to be encouraged; inspire those who need to be inspired; challenge those who need to be challenged and revive those who need to be fired-up again by a fresh outpouring of His Holy Spirit.

Co-ordinators: Lieut. Philip Cole (Londonderry) & S/L Keith Pyper (Belfast Temple). The march will assemble in Lower Garfield Street at 2.10pm, departing at 2.30pm. Here is the order the march:

Final Reminders BETWEEN SESSIONS: You are welcome to eat your own food in the Concourse area. Whilst at the building be sure to visit SP&S (Boardroom), and visit the Children’s Ministries, Employment Plus, Family Tracing and THQ Publishing exhibitions (Concourse). There will also be information available from 24-7 SA Prayer Network, Adult & Family Ministries, Alove, Candidates, Homeless Services, Human Trafficking, International Development, Marketing & Fundraising, Music Ministries & Schools Information. CAR PARKING: This is freely available on Sat & Sun at the Inst School. Suitable for all vehicles. SOUVENIR BROCHURE: This will be for sale at the Spires priced £3.00. PRAYERS: The three ‘REACH UP’ prayer events are Friday 7.30pm at Belfast North, and Sunday 9.45am & 3.15pm at the Spires. Don’t forget the Prayer Stands in the Assembly Hall—for personal space & reflection. CHILDREN: During the main sessions, an unsupervised crèche area will be provided for parents & tots. There will be a live feed of the main sessions on TV in this area. Primary School kids are invited to the Big it up 4 Jesus events on Sat 22 June (2.30pm) & Sun 23 June (10.30am). Registration forms are available from your corps/centre or collect on the day. YOUTH: 16-30’s meet at the Dock Café on Fri 21 June @ 7.30pm. 12-15’s meet in the Spires minor hall on Sat 22 June @ 4.30pm.

Group 2 The united bands of Ballymena, Bangor, Belfast North & Belfast Sydenham corps (B/M David Corry) followed by corps, centres & representatives of (in the following order): Ballymena, Bangor, Belfast North, Belfast Sydenham, Carrickfergus, Dundonald, Enniskillen & Newtownards corps; Sir Samuel Kelly memorial care home. Group 3 Belfast Temple band (B/M Jack Burch) followed by corps, centres & representatives of (in the following order): Ballymoney, Belfast Temple, Coleraine, Larne, Limavady & Londonderry corps; Thorndale family centre. Note *Officers and uniformed Salvationists are requested to wear blue tunics and headgear on the march. *Corps with Songster brigades and/or YP sections are welcome to march in those groups (within the relevant corps position on the march) and bring section flags if desired. *In view of the fact that we are utilising combined bands, no flags except the divisional flag will be in front of bands.
