FOR OUR PRAYERS … . • • • • • • • •
For the people of SOUTH AFRICA as they mourn the death of Nelson Mandela. For the families impacted by the helicopter crash in Glasgow, and the train crash in New York. For the ongoing preparations for the Maidstone Churches Winter Shelter (MCWS), and for the Project Managers Jayne and Angela. For the Carolling season, that all may remain healthy and enjoy the experience once again. For our members who are struggling with ill-health in body, mind or spirit, particularly Noel McCreerie (& Joy). For the Christians of EGYPT facing opposition and persecution. The claiming of the ‘SQUARE MILE’ around our hall in prayer over the next weeks and months. DON’T FORGET – to use the Prayer Network – see Audrey Beeching or Jo Gaskin. ‘PRAYER FOR THIS WEEK – National & Local Government’
‘God of all righteouness and truth, grant to our Queen and all in positions of authority, the guidance of Your Spirit. May they never lead the nation wrongly through love of power, desire to please, or unworthy ideals, but, laying aside all private interests and prejudices, keep in mind their responsibility to seek to improve the condiction of all mankind. Amen’
