HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES
Drexel University, Elkins Park Campus, is fortunate to be located in an area that boasts ample, affordable living accommodations and easily accessible public transportation. While there is no on-campus housing, there are a variety of options for Drexel students within close proximity to the Elkins Park campus.
The Elkins Park Campus Office of Graduate Admissions is available to assist students with finding housing and roommate opportunities, and to provide support throughout the relocation process to the greater Philadelphia area.
FINDING A PLACE TO LIVE
Off-Campus Partners Site
Elkins Park Campus students can utilize the OffCampus Partners website as a resource for their housing search. The site offers offers a number of features and resources that support the students' ability to make decisions regarding their living situations confidently, including:
• Searching for apartments in the Elkins Park and surrounding areas.
• Searching for and finding future roommates.
• Learning more about leases, off-campus safety, sustainability, and more through the many worksheets and guides.
Tips:
• Create an account to save your searches and connect with potential rentals and roommates
• Filter your search by selecting the Elkins Park Campus (under Campus or Neighborhood drop down)
• Keep in mind there may be rental properties not listed; this site is just one resource. Be sure to do a thorough search of the Elkins Park and surrounding area to understand all of your options.
Most of the Drexel Elkins Park Campus student body lives within a 10 mile radius of the Elkins Park campus. Some live within walking distance; however, many students drive or carpool to campus (parking is free).
You may also want expand your search outside of this radius to find the living arrangements that best suit your preferences. Be sure to keep in mind typical traffic conditions and commute times.

In addition to finding places for rent, the OffCampus Partners website allows you to create an account profile so that you can find someone with similar lifestyle preferences regarding neatness, study habits, carpooling, etc. You will be able to see other students' preferences as well as their program, class year and campus affiliation.
Get Connected
Some entering class cohorts will create an entering student Facebook group page or GroupMe account that includes members of the program's current first year class council as well as other accepted students. If your entering cohort has a group account, the Elkins Park Campus Admissions Office will share the link with entering students. Be sure to get connected to meet future classmates and ask current student for advice.
