WELCOME 2020 is a year of change. In every corner of the world, and in every area of our own lives, things are very different than they were one year ago. And with that change, there has been struggle. A struggle to find new ways of doing what must be done, a struggle to let go of what can no longer be, and for some, a struggle to survive.

Between the moments of struggle, remarkable adaptation has taken root – growing despite challenge. Together, we have created, we have collaborated, and we have adapted. Still in progress, and evolving, but from challenge has risen a new recognition of the ways in which we are connected.

So here we are – somewhat disconnected physically, but adapting together to create solutions for the evolving challenge of healthcare disparities in our community. Thank you for showing up to create a strong, stable safety net of accessible, affordable healthcare for Oregon’s vineyard workers and their families. THE ¡SALUD! MISSION We work to make healthcare services affordable and accessible for Oregon vineyard workers and their families.

THE NEED • Vineyard workers often move from crop to crop, and their short-term work status means they’re ineligible for health insurance coverage • For those with insurance, plans may cover basic services but leave patients with high deductibles which can mean putting off care until minor issues become major • Language barriers make accessing services and navigating the complex medical world challenging • Missing work to prioritize preventative care, or even necessary care means significant strain on the family budget HOW ¡SALUD! HELPS • Bilingual, bicultural team of three registered nurses, a health educator and a program coordinator who focus on each patient and create custom solutions based on each person’s needs • Mobile services: we bring preventative services to the worksite to eliminate transportation and time barriers to seeking care • Wide network of providers, clinics and resources to connect patients to affordable care in their community • We help patients avoid medical expenses by negotiating with providers on patient’s behalf • Support for more than just healthcare: we connect patients to housing, legal, food security and other resources

In the years since, Argyle has played a pivotal role in establishing the Willamette Valley as one of the greatest places in the world for making sparkling wine. At the same time, Argyle’s focus on growing the finest grapes for its sparkling wines has evolved into a winemaking program that includes renowned Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Rieslings. It is now comprised of 70 acres of biodynamically farmed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines spread across four of the six northern Willamette Valley AVAs. CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE 5. All ¡Salud! Cuvée wines are sold as a future delivered product and the delivery date is to be determined and coordinated by the respective winery representative.

All items offered or sold in this catalog are subject to the following conditions: 1. The Auctioneer is the agent for the Seller.

2. The Catalog, as amended by addenda or oral announcements during the sale and/or Big Board and Silent Auctions, constitutes the entire statement of the Seller with respect to the sale and the purchase of auction lots listed herein. By bidding, the bidder agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Purchase.

3. Seller does not warrant or represent, expressly denies responsibility for, and in no event shall be responsible or liable for the accuracy of the description of wines (or other items) offered, or the correctness of the catalog, including, but not limited to: the origin, rarity, age, genuineness, quantity, aging potential, present and future quality or condition.

All statements by Seller are merely statements of opinion and are not to be relied upon by prospective purchasers as warranties or representations of fact. Prospective bidders, by so bidding, acknowledge that they have inspected the wines to their satisfaction and bid only as a result of their own inspection and option. All wine is sold on strictly an “AS IS” basis.

4. If any item as described changes beyond Seller’s control (e.g. restaurant closure), Seller will make every attempt to avoid “non-delivery” by arranging a comparable replacement for the item and no refund will be issued.

6. Unless otherwise indicated, all auction packages will expire on November 16, 2021.

7. Auction package expiration dates are not flexible. To request an extension beyond the expiration date could place undue burden on the donor and may jeopardize future donations to the auction.

Lost certificates will not be replaced.

8. Travel packages include only the components bulleted in the auction lot description. Any additional amenities requested by the Buyer are at the Buyer’s expense and responsibility to coordinate.

9. No representative or employee of Seller shall have the right to waive or modify any of the terms/ conditions set forth herein, except that Seller’s authorized representative may do so by general announcement at the Auction. Out-of-state bidders are responsible for compliance with the laws of the destination locality.

BIDDING: 1. All bids for ¡Salud! cuvées are per case, and other bids on special live auction items are per lot, listed in the catalog, displayed at the event, or amended in the addendum, unless otherwise announced. Seller may divide or combine any lot or lots at its sole discretion.

CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE lots recorded to his/her paddle/ bidder number immediately and in no event later than Monday, November 20, 2020. Seller’s sole responsibility for non-delivery shall be limited to refund of the purchase price.

2. A suggested minimum bid price has been established on all lots.

Seller reserves the right to bid on his behalf up to and including the minimum bid price.

3. Seller shall have the right to reject any bid at any time prior to the close of any auction (or fall of the hammer in a live auction). Bids will only be accepted from registered bidders. Seller may, at any time prior to the close of any auction (or fall of the hammer in a live auction), withdraw the lot from sale.

4. Should a dispute arise between bidders in the Big Board, Silent, or Live auctions, or should Seller doubt the validity of any bid, Seller shall have the absolute right to resolve the dispute, reoffer, re-sell, or withdraw the lot in question.

5. At the close of the auction, the highest acknowledged bidder shall be deemed to have purchased the lot and therein assumes full risk and responsibility. Purchaser warrants that s/he will pay the full purchase price for all lots recorded to his/her paddle/ bidder number immediately and in no event later than Friday, November 20, 2020. Seller’s sole responsibility for non-delivery shall be limited to refund of the purchase price.

6. For all auctions (Big Board, Silent and Live), bids are acknowledged when the bid is posted on online display. All bid closing times will be posted. At the close each auction, the highest acknowledged bidder shall be deemed to have purchased the lot and therein assumes full risk and responsibility and will pay the full purchase price for all

Bids that are submitted to Seller in writing or otherwise left with Seller prior to the sale for execution at or below a specified price are entertained and executed by the Seller for the convenience of the bidders; but the Seller shall not be responsible for failing to execute such bids or for errors relating to the execution of such bids.

PAYMENT 1. Full payment must be made by Friday, November 20, 2020 and in all cases prior to the removal of the wine or lot. All payment from the successful bidder shall be in cash, certified or personal check made payable to the Tuality Healthcare Foundation, or by VISA, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express.

PICK-UP 1. All accounts will be paid in full prior to lot release. A copy of the paid invoice must be presented before lots can be released.

After payment has been made the winning bidder may make arrangements to receive their Silent or Live auction lots.

2. Certificates from lots containing certificates will be mailed to winning bidders within three weeks of the auction date. The Seller assumes no responsibility for loss or replacement of certificates once the winning bidder has taken possession.

CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE MEDIA COVERAGE

¡SALUD! CUVÉE PICK-UP 1. All lots of ¡Salud! Cuvée will be represented by a receipt of purchase. Winning bidders will receive said receipts at time of payment.

2. The ¡Salud! Cuvée pick-up/ delivery will be arranged with successful bidders at a future date as coordinated by the respective winery. The vintner retains sole discretion as to when the wine will be bottled and delivered to the purchaser. Dates of expected release vary between wineries and winners will be notified as soon as their cases are available. The purchaser acquires only the right to take possession of the wine when notified by the winery and has no right of inspection pending notification.

As a condition of and in consideration for participation in the auction, participant releases the Tuality Healthcare Foundation and ¡Salud! The Oregon Pinot Noir Auction from any liability connected with the reproduction, adaptation, display, publication, and distribution, in any and all media, whether now known or yet to be developed, of any videos, photographs, or other images taken at the Auction or any related events, participant’s name, voice, likeness, city of residence, and any other information regarding his/her participation in the Auction.

3. Purchaser agrees to take delivery and make shipping or pick-up arrangements within 60 days of notification. The right to take possession shall not be assigned or otherwise transferred without first obtaining the written permission of the seller. Shipping arrangements and expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser. Out-of-state bidders are responsible for compliance with the laws of the destination locality.

• 12-bottle case of priceless 1983 Knudsen Erath Pinot Noir • Private wine dinner for four at Knudsen Vineyards • Two-night stay for four at Winderlea Vineyards & Winery guest house “The 1983 was one of my top rated wines… I had one of my few remaining bottles a few years ago and it was excellent.” -Dick Erath Win this lot and take home a 12-bottle unopened case of 1983 Knudsen Erath Pinot Noir with quite a history. The wine has been perfectly cellared since it was originally purchased in 1985 from the original Knudsen Erath tasting room by Dave Maresh (son of Maresh Vineyards owners, Jim and Loie Maresh). Dave, home in Dundee for a few days from naval active duty, knew that the wine produced by his neighbors and family was starting to gain notoriety and he ought to set aside a few cases for his next shore leave.

“I purchased this case… knowing that some of the fruit came from my folks’ vineyard, the first one on Worden Hill Road. I then left it with my folks; their Craftsman home was built in 1916 and had a fruit cellar in the northeast corner of the basement. The concrete walls are fully bounded by the soils, and this case was near that far corner. I then promptly forgot about the wine. Sometime in 1999 or 2000 I was home again on leave and rediscovered the wine but left it in place. After 30 years as a naval officer, I retired in 2003, returned to Oregon and started putting down roots. In 2012, the case was moved from my folks’ wine cellar to our own at our home on the coast, at Salishan. And there it has remained. At no time has this case ever not been in a wine cellar.”

And now this storied wine is ready for its next cellar. Eyrie Founder David Lett was convinced that the climate of the Willamette Valley was potentially perfect for growing Pinot noir and Chardonnay. But exactly where was the best place to put down roots?

The Valley holds a wide range of microclimates and soils, and in 1965, David had the whole valley to choose from.

Early that year, David rented a temporary nursery plot near Corvallis, and planted the 3,000 vinifera grape cuttings he gathered from UC Davis and selected growers and brought with him to Oregon - the first planting of Pinot noir and Chardonnay in the Willamette Valley. Over the following year, David went looking for his perfect vineyard site, and in 1966, he finally found what he was looking for – a gentle 20-acre south-facing slope at the south end of the Dundee Hills.

Eyrie Chardonnay is made from a diversity of clones and yields a wine subtle and elegant in expression. It is also a wine which lives in the bottle for a long time, and this ability to continue to gain complexity with time is still the gold-standard of excellence in wine. Over the past 10 years, The Eyrie Vineyards has developed a 21-step Cellar Certification program, ensuring each bottle offers the best possible expression of its vintage.

This six-magnum vertical of Private Stash includes the beautiful 2012 vintage and is sourced from ROCO’s Wits’ End Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains, planted in 2001. The Stash comes from a one-acre block of a mutant Pinot Noir clone that out-performs other blocks each year when considering flavor profiles and aging. Stash is the first wine produced from ROCO Winery and only 65 to 150 cases are produced annually depending on the vintage.
