Orthodontics
Orthodontic treatment to straighten your teeth, close gaps or correct your bite, is available for teenagers and adults. Your initial visit will be booked for 30 minutes and your orthodontist will discuss the treatment options available to you. Once your teeth and jaw have been examined, you will receive an initial diagnosis and discuss your treatment options. At Devonshire House we often use photographs of your teeth and compare these to a model of your teeth with ideal contact between the upper and lower jaw. We will give you a guide of the treatment options available, a timetable for the treatment and an estimate of the cost. You will be able to discuss all the details with your orthodontist, allowing you to make a fully informed decision about the proposed treatment. This process allows you to understand the diagnosis and your options available before committing to the treatment plan. All fees quoted in your treatment plan include the following: • Braces, removable or fixed, as quoted in the plan • Adjustment and emergency visits • Laboratory work, unless discussed otherwise • An electric toothbrush, interdental brushes, travelling toothbrush, disclosing tablets, fluoride mouth rinse and dental wax • Retainers as advised in the treatment plan Unless discussed otherwise, the following costs are not included: •A ny treatment in addition to orthodontics, e.g. extractions, implants, bridgework or orthodontic surgery where required •A ll retainer reviews (3 months, 8 months, yearly, 2 yearly) For further information, please visit our website: www.devonshirehousedental.co.uk/orthodontics
