I gained hands-on experience working for a contractor firm specializing in tensile membrane canopies and steel structures. By working closey with the engineers, I took part in to the design of steel connections and membrane detailing. Given the nature of the firm, I also took on project management responsibilities, overseeing multiple projects from design through to construction, ensuring smooth execution at every stage.
