A NOTE FROM YOUR SCHOOL LEADERSHIP
The 2023-2024 school year was an outstanding year in many, many ways. Our successes are marked by the accomplishments of our students, families, faculty and staff, alumni, and friends of the schools…often simply measured by the number of smiles we see in a day. And, without a doubt, YOU accomplished so much this past year.
From State Championships to New Programs to the Renovation of Love N’ Learn Early Childhood Center, big things are happening at Salina Catholic Schools. We have so much to be proud of as we embrace our culture of continuous improvement and excellence in Catholic education.
With a 5-year Strategic Plan charting our course, there’s a growing anticipation about what is to come on our campus. This coming year, we will welcome infants and toddlers to our campus at Love ‘N’ Learn. We will develop a Facilities Master Plan, a PK-12 Academic Council, and a budgeting tool for parents committed to sending their children to our schools. We will accomplish a capital campaign that will result in a new Chapel, Fitness Center, Band Room, Learning Commons, and Art Room at Sacred Heart. Most importantly, we will continue striving to provide extraordinary experiences for all of us, but especially our students.
We are committed to thinking big by fully embracing our campus-wide mission to “prepare the whole person - spirit, mind, and body - to be a disciple of Jesus on mission.” Our students deserve nothing less. And, we are blessed to partner with you every step of the way.

This year’s Our Giving Tree, the Salina Catholic Schools First Annual Report, aims to continue building momentum by celebrating stewardship within our school community. We are humbled by your generosity. Clearly, our community gets it, the importance of offering God’s Graces back for the greater good…and you are all in.
What can you expect from the 2023-2024 Our Giving Tree. We intend to expand upon our efforts to be transparent in all that we do.
• You will see an overview of our schools’ budgets. We share these to hold ourselves accountable to being good stewards of God’s Graces shown to us in your gifts.
• You will also see a listing of all gifts to the schools broken down by our Raising Saints Leadership Levels. We share these to build pride in our collective giving efforts.
• You will also see a list of Salina area Corporate and Community Giving Partners. We highlight these gifts to display the philanthropic heart of the Catholic and Salina-area communities.
• You will see the fact sheet for our Capital Campaign Planning Study. We focus your attention here as the Campaign is our next call to be stewards.
We are humbled by how you have supported the mission of our schools. The call “To be a disciple of Jesus…on mission,” by its very nature, cannot be met alone. We can only be disciples of Jesus in communion with each other. Yes, we will always be humble…and we are also confident. The fire for our campus-wide vision to embrace “One School. One Vision. Together.” is building.
We believe Salina Catholic Schools is the place to be. For families. As Our Giving Tree grows, the fruits of our collective labor will continue to bless all of our families, faculty and friends…most importantly, though, our students will be the beneficiaries of our stewardship.
