The Tony’s Pizza Events Center completed a $13.1 million dollar renovation in the summer of 2016. The Center features a 30,000 sq. ft., 6500+ seat arena and can accommodate basketball, two courts for volleyball, rodeos, concerts, conventions, trade shows and much more. In addition to KSHSAA State Championships in wrestling, basketball and volleyball, the Tony’s Pizza Events Center is currently home to the Salina Liberty Indoor Football Team, Salina Sirens Roller Derby Team and the Salina Saints ABA Basketball Team. The Tony’s Pizza Events Center features Heritage Hall. Heritage Hall offers 20,000 sq. ft. of column free space that can be halved or quartered to your specifications. This space can accommodate 2,000 people with staging and seating or host a banquet for up to 750 people. We offer in-house catering that can accommodate any on-site culinary needs. Eight rooms located above the lobby at the Tony’s Pizza Events Center are perfect for meetings, luncheons, training sessions or seminars. The rooms can be utilized individually hosting up to 50 people in each or combined to form two rooms large enough for your group of 200. Each room contains screens and projectors built into the ceiling. Audio and visual aids can be synced to play in each room or separately. Includes wi-fi and internet capabilities.


THE SALINA FIELDHOUSE

Bring it to The House! Completed in July 2017, the Salina Fieldhouse is a 68,500 sq. ft. indoor sports facility located in downtown Salina. The facility features several multi-purpose surfaces, including hardwood, synthetic and portable turf. Six total basketball courts can be cross lined to accommodate eight volleyball courts, one indoor regulation or three small sided soccer fields. The facility also contains drop down batting and pitching tunnels and golf netting. The Fieldhouse will serve as host to league play, tournaments, team practices, camps and clinics in multiple sports including basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, kickball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, futsal, dodgeball, cheer, dance, golf and more! Local, regional and potentially national youth events, will be a perfect fit for this venue.

Dean Evans Stadium is Salina’s premier baseball facility, and features a covered stadium with seating for approximately 800. It includes a new digital scoreboard and is located near East Crawford Recreation Area, Bill Burke Park, and Salina Soccer Complex, which combined feature 16 lighted diamonds and 12 soccer fields. Dean Evans is used by many baseball teams around Salina including Kansas Wesleyan University, local high schools, as well as youth and collegiate level club organizations. Dean Evans Stadium is also host to the KSHSAA 4A State Baseball Championship. The playing surface of Dean Evans is second to none for those who like the nostalgia of real dirt and real grass infield. Complete with tarp, the field stays busy from May to early August.

BILL BURKE PARK

Something for Everyone Bill Burke Park is Salina’s main youth softball and baseball complex. Bill Burke Park features eight total baseball/ softball diamonds, five lighted and three unlighted. The complex features a playground, a biking/jogging path, and concession stands. Bill Burke also includes six multi-purpose fields used for soccer and football practices. Other amenities include two picnic shelters accompanied with grills. On the northeast side of the park is the Smoky Hill River available for fishing, Indian Rock Park on the Northwest side is known for hiking. Bill Burke Park truly has something for everyone!

Salina Stadium is located on the campus of Salina High School Central. The 7,000 seat turf facility is home to both Salina High School Central and Salina High School South’s football, soccer, and track and field teams. In 2016, Salina Stadium began a three-year renovation plan. In 2016 the field received new turf. Also, the scoreboard was replaced and now includes an LED video board. Soon, the press box will be upgraded and the seating will be renovated. Additionally, in 2018 the concession stands and restrooms will be renovated to make Salina Stadium one of the region’s top venues for sporting events. Salina Stadium has hosted several KSHSAA State Football Championships.


SALINA SOCCER COMPLEX

Kickin’ It! The Salina Soccer Complex is Salina’s premier soccer facility. The complex features five full-sized regulation lighted fields, a playground area, restrooms, concession and parking. Two Salina SculptureTour pieces are displayed near the entrance of the park. The artwork portrays action highlights of youth soccer, and serves as a compliment to the beautiful aesthetics of the park. Home to local leagues, camps and clinics, the Salina Soccer Complex is also host to youth and high school soccer tournaments. In 2015, the Mid Kansas Cup Regional Tournament began at the complex. This two-day annual event averages 60 teams.

In 2015, Kansas Wesleyan University completed Graves Family Sports Complex, home to Coyote football, soccer and track. The complex includes Bissell Field with 2,000-capacity stadium seating and a press box. There is a complete track which is open to the public daily from 6 a.m. to dusk, except during team practices. The facility also includes a practice field, tennis courts and the St. Clair President’s Pavilion. KWU’s Student Activities Center houses Mabee Arena and the adjacent Muir Gymnasium. Mabee Arena has a capacity to hold 1,500 and is home to KWU basketball, volleyball, wrestling and cheer and dance. This outstanding facility has been selected to host numerous KCAC post-season and championship events and high school tournaments.

The Experience Matters The state-of-the art Student Life Center opened in 2009. The facility is home to student sports clubs, community events and a hub of student life.
