Heavenly Father, Father,
The time is now. You have placed us in this moment for a reason. Help us to recognize the opportunities before us and to act with courage and faith. Give us the strength to let go of the past, to embrace the present, and to trust You for the future. Fill our hearts with purpose and our minds with clarity. Let us not delay in doing good, in loving others, and in following Your will. Remind us that every second is a gift, every day a new beginning. May we step forward boldly, knowing that You are with us. Guide our steps, ignite our passion, and let Your light shine through all we do. Amen

Meditation at Daybreak A little chirp, a cheerful trill Breaks the early morning chill. Soon the air is filled with sound, And I hear voices all around Awakening the earth from sleep – Gone the time to sigh, to weep. With expectation soaring high, I scan the sunlit, endless sky. Another start, a bright new morn; Joy fills the heart, once downcast, torn. What was obscured by dark of night Gets clearer in the morning light. And what upset me yesterday With the dawning fled away. I know that God, in faithfulness, This unfolding day will bless. I’m walking on in liberty – My heart from doubts and cares set free. Spring’s Glory In our backyard this morning, A little crocus said, “hello,” As he pushed his chin of blossoms, Up above the ice and snow. Such a jaunty, feisty fellow Bravely looking up at me, As a nuthatch hovered upside down In our nearby dogwood tree. Signs of Spring to lift my heart From Winter’s cold and gloom, And in a silent garden, There stands an empty tomb. From the sadness of the cross, Easter dawns again to beckon; Stepping out into Spring’s glory, We celebrate Christ’s resurrection! Margie Rieske
But You, Lord, are a shield around me; my glory, You keep my head high. Psalm 3:4

I Saw God Today As the sun closes its fiery eye And colors melt from the western sky, Twilight steals on dusky feet – Night sounds swell and specters meet. Peepers slowly croak to life As gathering shadows fall, And soon the forest resonates With each and every call. The nightingale with song so sweet, Like vespers on the breeze, Adds to the haunting serenade To put the mind at ease. Another day has come and passed, Blessed be the memories that last. I bow my head in prayer and say: I know I just saw God today. C. David Hay
