Seed of Faith Each one of us is like a seed That’s planted in the earth. We waken to a brave, new world Upon the day of birth. Everything we’re meant to be Will grow up toward the sun As long as we hold this belief – That God’s Will can be done. Some days there will be wind and rain; Some nights will be so restless. Some seasons will seem never-ending – Winters cold, and dark, and endless. But we must keep a faith That is a harbinger of Spring; A mustard seed is all it takes To bloom through what life brings. Marion Weinkiper
No one who is begotten by God commits sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot sin because he is begotten by God. 1 John 3:9

Restoration and Trust Lord of Heaven, I rest underneath Your mighty wings of love. I dwell within Your gentle heart. I know there is healing in Your touch. Through the sufferings of Christ, I can ask for restoration And trust in Your goodness. You are my Lord, my Savior, My Healer and my Friend. I dwell within Your gentle embrace. Amen

It’s Spring Blossom Time Springtime blossoms now appear As aromas return and fill the air. Lilacs spread their perfumed scent, Lilies of the valley are purest white and fair. Resurrection comes after the Winter freeze – Let us sing jovial songs of Spring! May our hearts be at peace and full of joy For Spring’s return and all she gathers and brings. Daffodils are tinted the brightest yellow, Showing off a colorful display; Violets and dandelions sprinkled on the meadow, Variations of wildflowers in such a lovely array! God has truly given us an amazing season And a time of hope, His spoken love – Just a glimpse of Heaven’s home someday With blossoms and beauty sent from above. Spring showers arrive, maybe a rainbow appears After Winter’s chill gradually fades away. Treasure the delicate rosebuds soon to unfold As Spring yields to a sunny, Summer’s day. Linda C. Grazulis

Answer when I call, my saving God. In my troubles, You cleared a way; show me favor; hear my prayer. Psalm 4:2

Prayer I said a prayer for everyone For whom I thought to pray, That they would ask the hand of God To guide them on their way. But then I thought of everyone Who also needed prayer; A life is lonely with no God To support us in each care. So then I prayed for all the world To listen to Christ’s plea, “Put all the things of life aside And come and follow Me.” I’m sure that God will hear my prayer And set all hearts to glowing, For Jesus said, “No sparrow falls Without my Father knowing.” Margaret Peterson
