Phnom Penh Branch 1st-30th April-June, 2021 April In Don Bosco Children Fund Phnom Penh, our staffs are working from home due to the situation of our country is worse and worse. The main Reason is Covid-19 still spreading around and more cases in Phnom Penh. That’s why our minister has announced for lockdown and there are lots of places presented to be Red Zone. Anyhow, how our Don Bosco Children Fund Team still working very hard from hone by contact to all volunteer teachers by Technology such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Messager…for gettering our student’s information. All the school are closed and students are learning online from home by google meet & Zoom.

In May, in the main time, our Don Bosco Children Fund team were working on register new children into our program. since lots of students has graduated from high school so, they are no longer under our control. So, we offered the young generation who are from very poor families and poverty who is really needed support for their education.

All these young children are from very poor families which their parents can’t effort to send them to school due to they are having lots of children so, they ask if we can help their children education. They hope education will give their kids the opportunities to make a better future.

For social work, our team had received the news from our HIV students informed us that her mum was seriously sick from HIV diseases and pass away. After received this sad news our foundation had contributed $200.00 for the funeral and condolence to the mother. And encourage our students since they are losing their love once.
