PROGRAM Our master of science (MS) in industrial/organizational psychology (I/O) program prepares students for careers in organizational development, leadership development, change management, data analytics, and strategic human resources roles. The program is led by a team of expert faculty who have conducted research and published in areas such as leadership, gender discrimination, bias, global issues, personality, job satisfaction, team performance, and ethical decision making. In addition, our faculty have worked in, and consulted with, diverse organizations from non-profit organizations, to private consultancies, to large healthcare organizations.
CURRICULUM Our curriculum is designed according to guidelines developed by the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology for master’s degree programs in I/O. Our 42-credit program consists of seven (7) core courses, including an internship that provides practical experience in areas such as corporate performance, personnel testing, training and human resources.

COST
For Massachusetts residents, each credit costs $545.60*, which includes tuition and fees. For non-Massachusetts residents, each credit costs $646.40.* The program is 42 credits (excluding prerequisites). I/O psychologists work with corporations, institutions, and organizations to build healthier workplaces, hire and retain talented employees, manage change, and provide research that can be used by management to develop organizational strategies and decisions.
