Brief description of the organization Al Mesalla for Human Resources Development is a non-governmental organization established in 2004 registered in Baghdad and Erbil with headquarters located in Erbil. The organization is working at disseminating a culture of human rights and peace building in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. The organization is currently working along 3 programs: a nonviolence and peace building program developing peace capacities within the community; a women and Gender program empowering women to take an active role in the community and a Human Rights Program which focuses especially on enhancing freedom of expression. Since June 2014, Al Mesalla developed services to the growing refugee and displaced community settling in the Kurdish Region of Iraq by participating to distributing emergency support and establishing empowerment and livelihoods programs for displaced women in particular. BACKGROUND After the conflict between Iraq and coming of ISIS and Mosul liberation operation, huge number IDPs are present in Kurdistan/ Iraq, As it is often the case in any humanitarian crises, women and girls face increased risk of violence and in particular camp settings, where living spaces are confined, infrastructures are weak and activities are limited, therefore, tension arises and psychological wellbeing is disturbed. Forms of gender based violence became common with specific forms such as domestic violence, sexual harassment and abuse, trafficking and to a lesser degree economic exploitation and early/ forced marriage. The latter one is quite problematic since many families revert to this option as a sort of protection and coping mechanism given the cultural context and already prior structural practices where the husband is expected to provide financial and physical protection. UNFPA responded by supporting AL_Mesalla organization by establishing women spaces in Erbil and district with aim of using it as a social space and a base to raise awareness about gender issues and about the risks of GBV in new IDPs camps from Mosul who have been feed to the camps
which established deferent humanitarian actors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: 1. Social working Psychosocial support for GBV cases Submitting awareness lectures about GBV and reproductive health topics Managing GBV cases Reporting timely to the coordinators 2. space managing Planning and managing women space activities Coordinate with volunteers and other actors for conducting activities Weekly reporting and monthly plans of activities 3. Representation Ensure maximum visibility of the agency amongst the UN and NGO community in Erbil. Contribute to the positive image and overall credibility of the organization, notably through the application of the organization’s Code of Conduct
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Social Work, sociology At least experience of one years in social working English, Arabic and Kurdish language are required Experience in emergencies and conflict areas strongly preferred Relevant regional experience strongly preferred Familiarity with standards and guidelines for GBV programming and coordination Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently Extremely flexible, and have the ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations Team player and strong communication skills, both oral and written Proficient in computer applications, especially with MS Word and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint a plus. نبذة مقتصرة عن المنظمة: منظمة المسلة لتنمية الموارد البشرية منظمة غير حكومية اسست فى سنة ,4002مسجلة فى بغداد و اربيل مع وجود المكتب الرئيسى فى اربيل ,منظمة المسلة يعمل فى نشر ثقافة حقوق النسان و بناء السالم فى العراق و اقليم كردستان .المنظمة حاليآ يعمل فى 3برامج :برنامج العنف و بناء السالم لتطوير قدرات السالم فى المجتمع و برنامج المرأة و المساواة بين الجنسين لتمكين المرأة لقيام بدور انشط فى المجتمع و برنامج حقوق األنسان يركز بشكل خاص على تعزيز حرية التعبير فى المجتمع. منذ شهر حزيران 4002منظمة المسلة تقدم خدمات لمجتمعات الالجئيين و النازحيين الموجوديين فى اقليم كردستان العراق عن طريق المشاركة بتوزيع المساعدات الطارئة و وضع برامج التمكين و سبل العيش للنازحات بشكل خاص.
الخلفية: بعد النزاعات بين العراق و الداعش و عملية تحرير الموصل عدد كبير من النازحيين موجودون بؤقليم كردستان -العراق .كما هو الحال فى اى ازمات األنسانية تزداد خطر العنف على نساء و األطفال فى المخيمات المعينة ,فى كثير من احيان تنحصر مساحات المعيشة و البنية التحتية الضعية و محدودية األنشطة ,ولذالك تزداد التوتر والشعور باألنزعاج النفسى .اصبحت اشكال العنف القائم على نوع األجتماعى شائع و بشكل خاص العنف السرى و التحرش الجنسى و اساءة المعاملة و تجارة الرقيق و و بشكل اقل األستغالل األقتصادى و الزواج المبكر و القصرى .والعنف األخير تعتبر مشكلة نظرآ ألعتماد كثير من العوائل لهذا الخيار كنوع من الحماية و آلية التعامل بالنظر الى سياق الثقافى و الممارسات السابقة حيث من المتوقع ان الزوج يقوم بتوقير الحماية المادية و المالية .يو ان ف بى اى استجابت لدعم منظمة المسلة عن طريق انشاء مراكز للمرأة فى اربيل و
المناطق التابعة بهدف استخدامه كمساحة اجتماعية و قاعدة لرفع التوعية عن مواضيع العنف القائم على نوع األجتماعى و ايضآ عن المخاطر على العنف القائم على نوغ األجتماعى قى مخيمات الجديدة للنازحيين من الموصل.

تخطيط و ادارة النشطة فى مراكز المرأة التنسيق مع المتطوعات و الجهات الفعالة األخرى لتنقيذ النشاطات اعداد تقارير اسبوعية و الخطة الشهرية لألنشطة
