Boxwood Estate Winery produces red wine in three styles in the Bordeaux tradition from five varieties of grapes certified by the French government and grown on the estate: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

Located in the newly inducted Middleburg American Viticulture Area, the estate at Greenhill Winery and Vineyards consists of 20 acres of mostly vitis vinifera vineyards set against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountain range. The grape varieties include the Burgundy grapes of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, a nice Bordeaux combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Merlot along with some Riesling, and Seyval Blanc.
