FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS
We have partnered with Blooms2U to provide a floral arranging experience that enhances creativity, learning, and connection for your group. Choose from floral arrangements or seasonal wreaths. Participants may take them home or have them donated as part of a community give-back program. Event is approximately 90 minutes in length. 10-person minimum. Pricing is 85.00 per guest.
ART OFFERINGS
Our art classes are led by Artist-in-Residence Mary Jennings. Blending her experience as a professional visual artist with a passion for teaching, she leads experiences designed for all skill levels. Guaranteed participant numbers are required two weeks in advance. 10-person minimum.
PYRO-GRAPHIC SALAMANDER KEEPSAKE
Experience the calming art of pyrography, or wood burning. Participants can create a classic landscape, original design, quote, or one-of-a-kind memento of their time at Salamander Middleburg. Class is approximately 90 minutes. 10-person minimum. Pricing is 65.00 per guest.
BRUSHES & BELLINIS*

E-BIKE RENTALS
Hit the trails on an e-bike or take a leisurely cruise into Middleburg for shopping. Rental is for three hours. Pricing is 75.00 per bike. Six e-bikes available.
BLADES & BOWS
Experience both archery and axe throwing in the meadow during a reception with both activities taking place simultaneously, or as a standalone experience with back-to-back sessions. The experience is approximately 90 minutes in length. Pricing is 99.00 per guest. Six-person minimum; 30-person maximum.
CLAY TARGET SHOOTING
Sporting clays are shot from four machines with varied angles, speeds and distances. We offer an off-site experience for beginners and intermediate shooters. The experience is approximately 90 minutes in length and priced at 198.00 per guest, with a six-person minimum. Transportation is additional; total time including travel is approximately three hours. An archery add-on is available for larger groups.
CORNHOLE RENTALS OR TOURNAMENTS
A great way to add to your social event or outdoor cocktail hour. Cornhole is a lawn game where players toss bags at a raised board with a hole, scoring points until someone reaches 21. Pricing is 100.00 per set. Tournament pricing begins at 1,500.00.
TABLETOP ESCAPE GAME*
Located at one banquet table, teams of eight to ten participants are given the same clues to solve, similar to traditional escape rooms. The first team to unlock a treasure chest wins. The game is approximately 60 minutes in length and priced at 65.00 per guest.

PAINTBALL*
Experience one of the fastest growing sports in America located just 15 minutes from the resort. Weekend group rates begin at 57.99 per guest, plus tax and transportation.

SALAMANDER ULTIMATE TEAM QUEST
Each team solves clues that unlock a series of questions, finding up to six fixed locations (depending on the number of participants) and completing challenges to earn points. The team with the most points wins. Pricing is 250.00 per guest, plus tax and service charge. A 24-person minimum applies. Estimated participant numbers are due 30 days prior, with final counts due two weeks in advance. The full race experience is approximately 120 minutes in length.
LAWN OLYMPICS
Choose six competitions to rotate through, including water balloon launching, trivia, handball, volleyball, Kan Jam, bocce ball, lawn scrabble, lawn bowling, egg toss, closestto-the-wicket croquet, lawn beer pong and cornhole. An indoor option may be available in the event of inclement weather. Pricing is 75.00 per guest for approximately 90 minutes, based on a 25-person minimum. TREETOP ZIP TOUR (ON PROPERTY)
Accompanied by your Salamander Adventure guides, traverse five different zip lines and two suspension bridges through the forest canopy, winding your way over the rolling hills of historic Middleburg. Zip lines range in length from 270 to 670 feet and are suspended 35 to 60 feet above the hallowed grounds where John Mosby planned his next attack and where Jackie Kennedy escaped the politics of Washington, D.C. This guided Treetop Zip Tour is designed to be shared with colleagues and teammates. The experience lasts approximately 90 to 120 minutes. The minimum age is seven, with a required weight range of 70 to 270 pounds. Pricing is 149.00 per guest and includes a digital photo package.
KIDDO ZIP LINING
Exclusively for guests who do not meet the minimum age requirement for our Treetop Zip Tour, this guided adventure will have kiddos gliding along a 275-foot zip line three times. The minimum age is four, with a minimum weight of 40 pounds. Pricing is 75.00 per child.

The Tribal Challenge is a highly engaging, fast-paced outdoor competition in which teams are challenged with a series of fun, physical, and mental problemsolving activities. The experience is approximately 120 minutes in length. Pricing is 99.00 per guest, with a 14-person minimum.
EMERGE TEAM-BUILDING PROGRAM
Groups enjoy Emerge for its fun, high-energy, and uplifting team-building activities. Participants are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, think creatively, and demonstrate positive communication and support while connecting in new ways. RIVER ADVENTURES
HALF-DAY POTOMAC OR SHENANDOAH RIVER FLOAT
Enjoy a private half-day trip on the river. Paddle in canoes or relax while one of Ashby Gap Adventures’ experienced guides rows you in a comfortable, custom-built raft with padded seating for each guest. Snacks and beverages are provided. The minimum age is six. Maximum group size is 18 guests in rafts or 16 guests in canoes. Trips are available on the Potomac or Shenandoah Rivers and last approximately two to four hours. Catered lunch is available for an additional charge.
WHITEWATER RAFTING TRIP AT HARPERS FERRY ADVENTURE CENTER
Experience beginner-to-intermediate rafting while floating past Historic Harpers Ferry and through Class I–III rapids on the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers, crossing three states. The experience accommodates up to 120 participants. The duration is approximately six hours, plus 45 to 55 minutes of travel each way from Salamander Middleburg. Whitewater kayaking and tubing are also available. The minimum weight requirement is 50 pounds, with four to six people per raft. Large groups of 20 or more may require up to one month’s notice.
INTRODUCTION TO FLY FISHING AT SALAMANDER MIDDLEBURG
Join our crew of experienced guides and fly-fishing instructors to learn the fundamentals of fly-fishing at our centrally located pond. Upon request, groups may be transported to the Shenandoah River to fish for wild gamefish or to Harpers Ferry to fish a private cold-water trout stream. No experience is necessary, and all gear is provided. The experience accommodates up to 10 guests and lasts approximately two to four hours.
HIKES & WALKING TOURS
LOST BARREL HIKE
Enjoy a 1.5-mile guided hike through the Salamander woods to Lost Barrel Brewing. The experience lasts approximately two hours. Pricing begins at 25.00 per guest, one-way, with a 10-person minimum, and is paid directly to the brewery. Guests may explore the brewery and gift shop. Transportation back to the resort is not included and must be arranged separately. Available Thursday through Sunday; larger groups may reserve the brewery for an additional fee. Participants must be 21 years of age or older, present valid identification, and wear closed-toe shoes; sandals and flip-flops are not permitted.
HISTORY WALKING TOUR OF MIDDLEBURG
Starting from the Red Fox Inn, the nation’s oldest continually operating inn since 1727, guests learn about the history of Salamander Middleburg while passing the town’s visitor center and the Jacqueline Kennedy Pavilion. The tour explores fox hunting, the Civil War, and the formation of the Mosby Rangers, and includes a visit to Sharon Cemetery to view the first monument dedicated to unknown soldiers as well as an original Rodin sculpture. The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and is priced at 65.00 per guest, based on a four-person minimum.
FORAGING HIKE
Part classroom, part hands-on field experience, guests learn proper foraging techniques and a variety of recipes to create using their findings. Participants sample oils, vinegars, sauces, ferments, and spices, then take home their bounty to recreate recipes at home. The experience is offered based on guide availability. Pricing begins at 75.00 per guest, with a four-person minimum.
THE HAMMER DOWN RIDE CENTER
Explore the surrounding countryside on a guided bike tour using TIME Bicycles’ gravel or road bikes through The Hammer Down Ride Center. Tours are led by local cycling experts and feature custom routes, with e-bikes available for an additional fee.

WELLNESS
30-MINUTE STRETCH BREAK
This 30-minute stretch break helps re-energize participants using seated yoga movements and stretches. This activity is ideal for breaking up the monotony of meetings and serves as an informative session demonstrating stretches that can be done at work, even while seated at a desk. Pricing begins at 295.00 per group.
PRIVATE FITNESS CLASSES
Salamander Middleburg offers a variety of fitness activities designed for leadership experiences, including yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Mat Pilates, hikes, Butts & Guts, meditation, Zumba, and boot camp (indoors or outdoors), as well as personal training. Pricing is 35.00 per guest for 60 minutes, with a 10-person minimum. Individual and small-group pricing is available upon request.
SOUND BATH
Experience a 75-minute sound bath workshop, beginning with 30 minutes of gentle stretching, followed by immersive sound therapy designed to promote relaxation, stress relief, and mental clarity. This experience is well suited for meditation and emotional balance. Pricing begins at 65.00 per guest, with a 10-person minimum.
PICKLEBALL
Salamander Middleburg features four pickleball courts on property. Lessons are priced at 35.00 per guest for 30 minutes. Court time is 25.00 per hour, per court, with a maximum of 120 minutes per day per group. Tournament pricing begins at 2,350.00.
TENNIS
Salamander Middleburg offers one tennis court on property. Lessons may be booked for individuals within your group and are priced starting at 125.00 per guest for 60 minutes.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)
SENSORY BOARDS
Create therapeutic sensory boards with Salamander’s Artist-in-Residence Mary Jennings. Teams of five to ten participants follow a template, adding personal touches through wood burning and color. Boards are donated to Alzheimer’s, dementia, or special needs programs. The session lasts approximately 60 minutes. Pricing is 85.00 per guest, with a 25-person minimum.
BIKE BUILDING
Salamander’s bike-building program divides participants into teams of five to ten to answer trivia, complete challenges, and earn supplies to build bicycles that are donated to charity. The event lasts approximately 60 to 75 minutes, with three weeks’ notice required. Pricing is 95.00 per guest, with a 25-person minimum. An optional 30-minute team-building initiative with Salamander Adventures is available.
BACKPACK BUDDIES PROGRAM
Salamander’s Recreation Department partners with the local organization Backpack Buddies to assemble food bags for food-insecure children in Loudoun County. Participants complete a 90-minute scavenger hunt-style experience at a “grocery store” to gather needed items. One month’s notice is required. Pricing is 5,950.00 per group, for up to 50 participants.
MIDDLEBURG HUMANE FOUNDATION GIVE BACK PROGRAM
Salamander’s Recreation Department partners with the Middleburg Humane Foundation for a supply-gathering experience. Groups compete in engaging challenges throughout the property to collect items for donation. One month’s notice is required. The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and is priced at 175.00 per guest for up to 25 participants.

COUNTRYSIDE GROUP TRAIL RIDES
Experience the natural beauty of Middleburg’s famed hunt country astride gentle, well-trained trail horses as you meander through wooded paths on a leisurely 60-minute guided ride. No riding experience is required. Pricing begins at 195.00+ per rider. Participant height, weight, and skill level are required prior to the activity date. The weight limit is 220 pounds. A maximum of five riders may participate at one time.
RIDING LESSON
Enjoy a private, 60-minute instruction on our seasoned lesson horses. Lessons include grooming & tacking up, leading, ground safety and riding on the flat in our outdoor arena. EQUINE COMMUNICATION
This unique program partners horse and human to explore leadership, clear communication, and the impact of body language and energy. Participants are introduced to the principles often associated with “horse whispering” through a guided, hands-on interaction. Professionally analyze six wines, make your selections, and see who identifies the most correctly. WINE MASTERCLASS
Since 1975, Virginia wine production has been reinvigorated, and in 2023 Wine Enthusiast named the Monticello AVA the Wine Region of the Year. Being in close proximity places Salamander Middleburg at the center of East Coast wine country. Taste select Virginia wines and learn what makes this terroir distinctive. The experience accommodates 10 to 50 guests and is priced at 99.00 per guest, plus a 300.00 sommelier fee.
BIKE & CIDER TOUR
Enjoy a scenic 1.5-mile bike ride into Middleburg for a cider tasting, weather permitting. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. Participants must be 21 years of age or older with valid photo identification. Pricing is 125.00 per guest, for groups of four to ten guests. Optional enhancements include a wine and cider experience at 150.00 per guest and an e-bike upgrade at 30.00 per bike, with up to six e-bikes available.
OSBORNE EVENTS WINE TOURS
Visit two local wineries and enjoy guided tastings, round-trip deluxe transportation, and knowledgeable wine hosts throughout the journey. Pricing begins at 175.00 per guest, with a 25-person minimum, and varies based on group size and availability. Optional enhancements include cheese and charcuterie, barrel tastings, sommelier-led classes, and private tastings with winemakers.
Tee times for each course are booked at 8- or 10-minute intervals, depending on the course. All courses observe a 12-month maximum booking window. Golf reservations are available exclusively to overnight resort guests, with no exceptions.
All group golf bookings will be charged to the group’s Master Account. Guests within a group who wish to book golf independently should contact the Concierge Department directly.

A 150.00 per group caddie fee applies and will be added to the guest chit, regardless of group size.
Gratuity is required and must be paid in cash in addition to the group fee. The minimum gratuity is 50.00 per golfer for riding rounds and 120.00 per golfer for walking rounds. Please note that Creighton Farms does not have an ATM.
Riding rounds with caddies will be assigned one caddie per group. Walking rounds will be assigned one caddie for every two players, with a maximum of two caddies per group.
Guests must specify riding or walking when booking tee times.

CANCELLATION FEES
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled tee time will incur a 50% charge of total golf fees. No-shows will be charged 100% of total golf fees.
