వెలుగును పేమ ి యు జీవమునెన ై ఆ దేవపనితో బహు ఆనందకరమన ై ఒక సహవాసము యోహాను అనుభవించి యుండెను. అందుచేతనే యోహాను యీ ప్త్రికను వాియుచునా​ాడు. “యేసు దేవపని కుమారుడెైన క్రీసు ు అని నముానట్ల ు , నమిా ఆయన నామమందు జీవము ప ందునట్ల ు ” యోహాను తన సువారు ప్పసు కమును వాిసను. (యోహాను 20:31) అయతే మొదట్ ప్త్రిక వాిసిన ఉదేదశము ఏమిట్ను దానిని 5:13లో చూప్పచునా​ాడు. “మీరు నితయ జీవము గలవారని తెలిసిక్ొనునట్ల ు దేవపని కుమారుని నామమందు విశ్ా​ాసముంచు మీరు తెలిసిక్ొనునట్ల ు నేను ఈ సంగతులను మీకు వాియుచునా​ాను” అనునదియే అది. విశాసించుడి అను ప్దము యీ ప్త్రికలో ముఖ్యమన ై అంశము. ఈ ప్త్రికలో 30 కంట్ే ఎకుకవసారు​ు “తెలిసిక్ొనుడి” అను ప్దము మరల మరల వచుచచునాది. ఒక్ొకకకమారు దేని క్ొరకు వచుచచునాదని ప్ర్టశ్ోధించి నేరుచక్ొనుట్ ప్ియోజనకరమన ై విదయగానుండును.

దేవపడు వేలుగైయునా​ాడు. కనుక ఆ దేవపనితో ఐకయముగల వారము క్ావల ననాచో మనలను మనమే తీరు​ు తీరుచక్ొని మన పాప్ములను ఒప్పుక్ొందము. ఆ విధముగా యేసు క్రీసు ు యొకక రకు ము సకల పాప్ముల నుండి మనలను ప్వితుిలనుగా చేయును. అప్పుడు క్రీసు ు తండి​ి యదుట్ మన క్ొరకు విజఞాప్న చేయ మధయవర్టుగా క్ీయ జర్టగటంచును. ఈ విధముగా ఐకయమందు నడచుట్ యొకక ఫలమే పేమ ి . సతయ దేవపడును నితయ జీవముగల క్రీసు ుతో గల సహవాసమందు జీవించు ఒకనిక్ ఆయన యొకక జీవముగల అనగా సాభావము యొకక శ్రష ీ ఠ త వపండి తీరవల ను.

సాంత జీవితమును గూరుచ అపో సు లుడు దీనిలో ఏమియు కనుప్రచకపో యనప్ుట్టక్ని పియ ి ులార్ా నా సహో దరులార్ా నా పిలులార్ా లాంట్ట పిలుప్పలు అతనిక్ని, చదువపవార్టక్ని మధయనునా సమీప్మైన బాంధవయమును బయలుప్రచి దేవపనితో గల సహవాసమును మర్టయు ప్ర్టశుదధ క్స ై ువ జీవితమును పో ి తా్హప్రచిన ఈ గీంథము మన ఆతీాయ మేలులకు సహాయప్డును గాక.

1దిన 7:13,14- వాన కుర్టయకుండ నేను ఆక్ాశమును మూసివేసన ి ప్పుడే గాని, దేశమును నాశనము చేయుట్కు మిడతలకు సలవిచిచనప్పుడే గాని, నా జనులమీదిక్ తెగులు రపిుంచినప్పుడే గాని, నా పేరు పట్ి బడిన నా జనులు తముాతాము తగటగంచుక్ొని పాిరి నచేసి ననుా వెదక్ తమ చెడుమారగ ములను విడిచినయడల, ఆక్ాశమునుండి నేను వార్ట పాిరి నను విని, వార్ట పాప్మును క్షమించి, వార్ట దేశమును సాసి ప్రచుదును. పైన చెప్ుబడిన వచనములలో 13వ వచనం సృష్ి​ికరు యన ై దేవపడు చేసే క్ొనిా ప్నుల గుర్టంచి, 14వ వచనములో మానవపడు చేయగలిగే ప్నుల గుర్టంచి చెప్ుబడినది. మనము ఏ దేవపని సేవిసు​ునా​ామో ఆ దేవపడు వాన కుర్టయకుండ ఆక్ాశమును మూయగలడు, మిడతలచేత దేశమును పాడుచేయగలడు, తెగులుచేత మనుషుయలను నశంప్చేయగలడు. యోబు 12:14 - ఆలోచించుము ఆయన ప్డగొట్ి గాఎవరును మరల కట్ి జఞలరు ఆయన మనుషుయని చెరలో మూసివేయగా తెరచుట్ ఎవర్టక్ని సాధయము క్ాదు. క్రరునలు 107:34 - ఆయన నదులను అడవిగాను నీట్ట బుగగ లను ఎండిన నేలగాను సతు ు వగల భూమిని చవిట్ట ప్ఱ్ఱ గాను మార్చను. దేవపడు ఈ క్రడంత చేయుట్కు క్ారణం ఒకట్ే, దేవపని ఆజా ల ప్ిక్ారం జీవించకపో వపట్నే (దిాత్ర 11:9,17).

పాట్టంచకపో తే తీవిమన ై సమసయలు ఎదురుక్ోవడానిక్ సిదదముగా ఉండాలి. ఇట్లవంట్ట సిు త్రలో కూడా 1దిన 7:14 ప్ిక్ారం తగటగంచుక్ొని పాిరధ న చేసి, దేవపని వెదక్, చెడు మారగ మును విడచిన యడల దేవపడు కనికరప్డి ఆశీరాదించే దేవపడుగా ఉంట్ాడు. ఇది అక్షర్ాల ఒక వయక్ు జీవితములో నెరవేర్టంది, ఆ వయక్ు పేరు మనష్ేి, హిజ్కకయా కుమారుడు. 1దిన 33:2-6 ఇతడు తన తండియ ి న ై హిజ్కకయా ప్డగొట్టిన ఉనాతసి లములను త్రర్టగట కట్టించి, బయలు దేవతకు బలిపీఠములను నిలిపి, దేవతాసు ంభములను చేయంచి, ఆక్ాశనక్షతిము లనిాట్టని ప్ూజ్కంచి క్ొలిచెను. మర్టయునా నామము ఎనాట్ెనాట్టక్ ఉండునని యరూషలేమునందు ఏ సి లమునుగూర్టచ యహో వా సలవిచెచనో అకకడనునా యహో వా మందిరమందు అతడు బలిపీఠములను కట్టించెను. మర్టయు యహో వా మందిరప్ప ర్ండు ఆవరణములలో అతడు ఆక్ాశనక్షతి సమూహమునకు బలిపీఠములను కట్టించెను. బెన్హినోాము లోయయందు అతడు తన కుమారులను అగటాలోగుండ దాట్టంచి, ముహూరు ములను విచార్టంచుచు, మంతిములను చిలు ంగటతనమును వాడుకచేయు కరణపిశ్ాచ ములతోను సో దెగాండితోను సాంగతయము చేయుచు, యహో వా దృష్ి​ిక్ బహుగా చెడునడత నడచుచు ఆయ నకు క్ోప్ము ప్పట్టించెను. సరాసృష్ి​ికరు యన దేవదిదవ ే పనిక్ే క్ోప్ము ప్పట్టించి సంతోషముగా ఎవర్ైనా ఉండగలర్ా? 11వ వచనములో, క్ాబట్టి యహో వా అషష ి రుర్ాజుయొకక సన ై ాయధిప్తులను వార్ట మీదిక్ రపిుంచెను. మనష్ేి తపిుంచుక్ొని పో కుండ వారు అతని ప్ట్లిక్ొని, గొలుసులతో బంధించి అతనిని బబులోనునకు తీసిక్ొని పో యర్ట. ఒక ర్ాజు దేవపని మీద త్రరుగుబాట్ల చేసన ి ందుకు ప్ర్ాయ దేశములో బానిసగా బిత్రక్ే ప్ర్టసత్ర ిు ఏరుడినది.

క్ాని, ఆ సిు త్రలో మనష్ేి తన మనసు్ మారుచక్ొని, తన తప్పు తెలసుక్ొని దేవపని వెప్ ై ప త్రర్టగటనప్పుడు మాట్ ఇచిచ నెరవేర్చే దేవపడు మాట్ తప్ుకుండ తన మాట్ను నిలబెట్ి లకునా​ాడు. 12,13 వచనాలలోచూసేు , అతడు శీమలో ఉనాప్పుడు తన దేవపడెైన యహో వాను బత్రమాలుక్ొని, తన పితరుల దేవపని సనిాధిని తనుా తాను బహుగా తగటగంచు క్ొని. ఆయనకు మొరలిడగా, ఆయన అతని వినాప్ములను ఆలక్ంచి యరూషలేమునకు అతని ర్ాజయములోనిక్ అతని త్రర్టగట తీసిక్ొని వచిచనప్పుడు యహో వా దేవపడెై యునా​ాడని మనష్ేి తెలిసిక్ొనెను.

పి​ియ చదువర్ట! నీవప ఎలా ఉనా​ావప? మారు​ులేని మనష్ేి వల నీ క్ీయలచేత దేవపనిక్ క్ోప్ము ప్పట్టిసు ునా​ావా? మారు​ుచెందిన మనష్ేి వల దేవపని మనసు్ని మార్టచ ఆశీర్ా​ాదం ప ందుకుంట్లనా​ావా?

Bible Message

ఆరాధన –3 అనేక క్రరునలు కృతజా తారుణ లేదా సు​ుత్రని గూర్టచ తెలియజేసు ాయ. అయతే ప్ితయే కముగా ఈ క్రరున “సు​ుత్ర క్రరున” గా వివర్టసు ుంది. కృతజా తారుణ ను గూర్టచ క్రరునా క్ారుడు రచించిన అనిా క్రరునలలో 100వ క్రరున ఎంతో సుందరమన ై ది. కృతజా తారుణలతో బాలులతో యరూషలేము దేవాలయము లోనిక్ ప్ివశ ే ంచునప్పడు ఈ క్రరున రచించి యుండవచుచ (లేవీక్ాండము 7:12).

1. సమసు త దేశములార్ా, యహో వాకు ఉతా్హధాని చేయుడి.

2. సంతోషముతో యహో వాను సేవించుడి ఉతా్హ గానము చేయుచు ఆయన సనిాధిక్ రండి.

3. యహో వాయే దేవపడని తెలిసిక్ొనుడి ఆయనే మనలను ప్పట్టించెను మనము ఆయన వారము మనము ఆయన ప్ిజలము ఆయన మేప్ప గొఱ్ఱఱలము.

4. కృతజా తారుణలు చెలిుంచుచు ఆయన గుమాములలో ప్ివేశంచుడి క్రరునలు పాడుచు ఆయన ఆవరణములలో ప్ివశ ే ంచుడి ఆయనను సు​ుత్రంచుడి ఆయన నామమును ఘనప్రచుడి.

5. యహో వా దయాళుడు ఆయన కృప్ నితయముండును ఆయన సతయము తరతరములుండును.

ఈ మాట్లు నా ప్ూరణ హృదయముతో నేను నముాదును, ఎందుకంట్ే దేవపడు మనలను తన ప్ిజలు గాను, ర్ాజయము గాను మనలను ఆశీరాదించి ఏరురచుక్ొని ఎనుాకునా​ాడు. అందును బట్టి దేవపనిక్ ఎలు ప్పుడూ కృతజా తా సు​ుతులను చెలిుంచుచు ఆయన నామమును ఘనప్రచవల ను. యేసు క్రస ీ ు ు తన ర్ాజయమును సిదధప్రచుట్క్ై అధిక్ారముతో ఈ లోక్ానిక్ మరలా వచిచనప్పుడు ఆయనతో తో కలిసి మనము ఆర్ాధిసు ాము అనే నిర్ీక్షణను క్రరునా క్ారుడు వివర్టసు ునా​ాడు. దేవపని సనిాధిలోనిక్ వెళ్ళినప్పుడు సంతోషముతో, ఉతా్హధాని తో ఉతా్హ గానము చేయుచు ఆయనను సు​ుత్రంచవల ను. సంతోషముతో ఆర్ాధించునప్పడు దేవపడు ఎంతగానో సంతోష్ించే వాడుగా ఉంట్ాడు. తన చేత్ర ప్నియైన సృష్ి​ిలోని సమసు జంతువపలు, జల ర్ాసులు, ప్ర్టమళ ప్పషుములు, రుచికరమైన ప్ండు​ు, విశ్ాలమన ై నీలాక్ాశము మర్టయు ప్ిక్ాశమన ై సూరయ తేజసు్ను; వీట్టని చేయుట్లో ప్ిభువప ఎంతగానో ఆనందించాడు అని చెప్ుగలం. అదే

విధంగా సంతోష భర్టతమైన క్స ై ు వ ఆర్ాధన దేవపని ఎంతగానో ఘనప్రచేది గా ఉంట్లంది. ఈ సృష్ి​ి యావతు ు ఆయనదే, దేవపడే దాని క్ారకుడు మర్టయు నిర్ా​ాణకుడు, సృష్ి​ిలోనిది ఏదెైనా దేవపనిక్ ఇచిచనా అది ఆయనదే. అందుక్ే ప్ిభువప మన నుండి విర్టగట నలిగటన హృదయమును క్ోరుచునా​ాడు. అట్టి వాట్టని హృదయంలో కలిగట ఉనా మనము ఉతా్హ గానము చేయుచు ఆయన సనిాధిక్ ప్ివశ ే ంచవల ను. మన దేవపడు నిజమన ై దేవపడు, నిర్ోదషమైన వాడు, ప్ర్టశుదుధడు, సర్ా​ాధిక్ార్ట, సర్ా​ాంతర్ాయమి, సరాశక్ు గల వాడు, నితయము నిలుచు దేవపడు, పేిమగల వాడు, కృప్, కనికరము, నమరతగల, నిగరామైన దేవపడు అని తెలుసుకునాప్పుడే మనము నిజమైన ఆర్ాధన సు​ుత్ర చెలిుంచగలుగుతాము. అట్టి ఆర్ాధన క్ేవలము దేవపనిక్ సంతోషము ఆనందము కలిగటంచేది క్ాక ఆయనను ఘనప్రచేది గా ఉంట్లంది. దేవపని ఆర్ాధించుట్కు మర్ొక గొప్ు విషయము, ఆయనే మనలను ప్పట్టించెను మనము ఆయన వారము మనము ఆయన ప్ిజలము ఆయన మేప్ప గొఱ్ఱఱలము. మనలోని ప్ిత్ర అణువప దేవపనిదే, ఆ దేవపనిక్ే అధిక్ారమిచిచ మనలను మనమే ఆయనకు సమర్టచుక్ొనవల ను. మీ తలవెండుికలనిాయు ల క్కంప్బడియునావి (మతు య 10:30) అని వాియబడిన ర్ీత్రగా దేవపనిక్ మరుగైనది ఏదీ లేదు. మనలను క్ేవలము సృష్ి​ించడమే క్ాదు గాని మనలను ఎంతగానో పేమి ి ంచి ఆదర్టంచే వాడుగా ఉనా​ాడు. దేవపని పేమి ి ంచువారమైన మనకు, అనగా ఆయన సంకలుము చొప్పున పిలువబడిన మనకు, మేలు కలుగుట్క్ై సమసు మును సమకూడి జరుగును (ర్ోమా 8:28). దేవపని ఆర్ాధించుట్కు మర్ొక గొప్ు విషయము దేవపడు దయాళుడు ఆయన కృప్ నితయముండును ఆయన సతయము తరతరములుండును. యహో వా దయాదాక్ిణయ ప్ూరుణడు దీరఘశ్ాంతుడు కృపా సమృదిధ గలవాడు. ఆయన ఎలు ప్పుడు వాయజయమాడువాడు క్ాడు ఆయన నితయము క్ోపించువాడు క్ాడు. మన పాప్ములనుబట్టి మనకు ప్ిత్రక్ారము చేయలేదు మన దో షములనుబట్టి మనకు ప్ిత్రఫలమియయలేదు. భూమికంట్ె ఆక్ాశము ఎంత ఉనాతముగా ఉనాదో ఆయనయందు భయభకు​ులు గలవార్టయడల ఆయన కృప్ అంత అధికముగా ఉనాది. ప్డమట్టక్ తషరు​ు ఎంత దూరమో ఆయన మన అత్రకీమములను మనకు అంత దూర ప్రచియునా​ాడు (క్రరున 103:8-12).

Missionary

John Geddie (1815-1872).

Canadian missionary to the New Hebrides (Vanuatu) John Geddie was born in Banff, Scotland, April 10, 1815.

His father, a watch and clock maker, was a devout member of the Presbyterian Church. During the great revival under the Haldanes, an Independent Church was formed in Banff. Mr. Geddie attached himself to this church and served as a deacon. His wife, Mary Menzies, the mother of the future missionary, was of a pious Secession family. To this worthy couple four children were born—three daughters and a son. n October 17, 1847, after a journey of more than 20,000 miles, the vessel sailed into the harbor of Pango-pango [Pago Pago] Samoa. While awaiting transportation to Eastern Melanesia, Geddie devoted six months to the study of the Samoan language. This knowledge would be of great value to him in communicating with the Samoan teachers who had already been settled on several of the Melanesian islands.

At the island of Efate they approached the place where, a few months earlier, the ship British Sovereign had been wrecked and the crew of not less than twenty-two persons had been killed and eaten. Deeds of brutality were not restricted to black men alone. Geddie saw the place where three white men, engaged in the sandal wood trade, had on slight provocation shot about one hundred natives. He also saw the cave into which about one hundred other natives retreated for shelter and where they were smothered by the fire which the white traders built at its entrance. Similar wanton deeds perpetrated throughout the Pacific created much hostility toward all white men, interfered seriously with missionary operations and engendered a passion for revenge which often led to attacks on innocent missionaries and, in numerous instances, to their martyrdom, as in the case of John Williams, Bishop Patteson and others. Geddie, "the father of Presbyterian missions in the South Seas," landed on the island of Aneiteum [Aneityum], of the

When the John Williams sailed away, the missionaries felt for the first time the stern reality of being abandoned on an island surrounded by a barbarous people from whom they had much to fear and with whom they had little, if anything, in common. But were they despondent? "Though severed now from those with whom we could take sweet counsel," wrote Geddie, "we are not alone. We have His promise, at whose command we have come hither, 'Lo, I am with you alway.'"

Again he said: "If ever we win these benighted islanders, we must draw them with cords of love. Acts 16:30 This is the anxious inquiry of an awakened sinner. said, "There is no peace to the wicked" (Isa. 48:22).

They live on, day after day, keeping death, judgment, and eternity, out of their thoughts; never reading the Bible with a sincere desire to know what their state is, and never praying to God from the bottom of their hearts, "God be merciful to me a sinner" (Luke 18:13). If you can live without earnest prayer to God for mercy, habitually neglecting it, you give as full proof that you are alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that  | 13

is in you, as if you were living in the grossest immoralities. But when it pleases God to fasten conviction on the heart of a man, and to awaken his conscience, then he starts up as one out of sleep. He sees, what he never discovered before, that it is an evil and bitter thing to sin against God. He reads in the word of truth, that the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God (Psalm 9:17); and he trembles as he reads.

He acknowledges, "I have forgotten God and sinned against Him;" and being convinced that the wages of sin is death, he asks, "how shall I escape the damnation of hell?" Such a man is deeply in earnest when he makes the inquiry, "What must I do to be saved?" He feels that his all for eternity is at stake. The world with all its pleasures, profits, and honors, becomes tasteless and insipid; it cannot give ease to his aching heart, nor heal his wounded conscience. He now begins to pray. His prayer is now the real language of his heart, not the formal, unmeaning service it was before. A sense of his danger drives him to the throne of grace. The Word of God he now reads as the decision of eternal truth; and he reads it as having an interest in every line. Sinner, has this inquiry ever been yours, "What must I do to be saved?"

English Bible History Do the lost books of the Bible prove that the Bible has been altered?

There is much talk these days about lost books of the Bible. Sometimes people claim that the Bible was edited to take out reincarnation, or the teaching of higher planes of existence, or different gods, or ancestor worship, or "at-one-ment" with nature, anything that disagreed with what the people in power didn't like. But, none of this is true. The "lost books" were never lost.

These so-called lost books were already known by the Jews and the Christians and were not considered inspired. They weren't lost nor were they removed from the Bible because they were never in the Bible to begin with.

These so-called lost books were not included in the Bible for several reasons. They lacked apostolic or prophetic authorship; they did not claim to be the Word of God; they contain unbiblical concepts such as prayer for the dead in 2 Macc. 12:45-46; or have some serious historical inaccuracies. These books were never authoritative, inspired, or authentically written by either the Jewish Prophets or the Christian Apostles.

canon of scripture. In 1546, largely due in response to the Reformation, the Roman Catholic church authorized several more books as scripture known as the apocrypha. The word apocrypha means hidden. It is used in a general sense to describe a list of books written by Jews between 300 and 100 B.C. More specifically, it is used of the 7 additional books accepted by the Catholic church as being inspired. The entire list of books of the apocrypha are: 1 and 2 Esdras, Tobit, Judith, the Rest of Esther, the Wisdom of Solomon, Sirach, (also titled Ecclesiasticus), Baruch, The Letter of Jeremiah, Song of the Three Young Men, Susanna, Bel and the Dragon, The Additions to Daniel, The Prayer of Manasseh, and 1 and 2 Maccabees. The books accepted as inspired and included in the Catholic Bible are Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees Wisdom of Solomon Sirach (also known as Ecclesiasticus), and Baruch.

The Pseudepigraphal books are "false writings."

They are a collection of early Jewish and "Christian" writings composed between 200 BC and AD 200.

The Deuterocanonical (apocrypha) books are those books that were included in the Greek Septuagint (LXX) but not included in the Hebrew Bible. The recognized deuterocanonical books are First Esdras (150-100 BC), Second Esdras (100 AD), Tobit (200 BC), Judith (150 BC), the Additions to Esther (140-130 BC), the Wisdom of Solomon (30 BC), Ecclesiasticus (Sirach) (132 BC), Barach (150-50 BC), The Letter of Jeremiah (300-100 BC), Susanna (200-0 BC), Bel and the Dragon (100 BC), the Additions to Daniel (Prayer of Azariah) (200-0 BC), the Prayer of Manassesh (100-0 BC), First Maccabees (110 BC), and Second Maccabees (110-170 BC).1 These pseudepigraphal and deuterocanonical books were never considered scripture by the Christian church because they were not authoritative, inspired, written by either Prophets or Apostles, nor do they have the power of the word of the books of the existing Bible. These are the words of our blessed Saviour, addressed to poor guilty sinners like you and me. But what is repentance? It is a work of the Spirit of God upon the heart, producing such an inward sense of the evil and guilt of sin, as makes a man wonder that he is out of hell; such a hatred of sin as causes a man to forsake it; and such an apprehension of the consequences of sin, as makes a man willing to be saved wholly and solely through what

Jesus Christ has done and suffered for lost souls. The penitent sinner is convinced that sin deserves punishment; that he himself, as a sinner, is liable to the wrath of God; that sin must be pardoned or punished; that he can make no amends for the least of his transgressions; and consequently that his salvation must be all of grace. The man thus humbled, is prepared to welcome the news of a Saviour who came to seek and to save that which

was lost (Matt. 18:11). Such is the Gospel. It is glad tidings to a lost, guilty world. The sum and substance of it is this, that "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (1 Tim. 1:15). He died to make satisfaction for their sins; and being God and man in one Saviour, "He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him" (Heb. 7:25). His blood being the blood of God incarnate (Acts 20:28), was infinitely meritorious; and it was shed  | 23

for this very purpose, to take away sin; so that if your sins, poor self-condemned sinner, are more in number than the hairs of your head, or the sand on the sea shore; if they are great and aggravated, and red like scarlet, yet there is hope. "Believe the Gospel:" rely on what the Word

of God says about Jesus Christ, and His willingness and power to save sinners. But may I without presumption believe that Jesus Christ came to save such a wretch as I am? Yes, "this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ" (1John 3:23). There can be no presumption in doing what God has commanded, and taking God at His Word.

 ఒక్ానొక ఊర్టలో, ఒక గొప్ు ధనవంతుడుండేవాడు. అతనిక్ ఒకరు క్ాదు, ఇదద రు క్ాదు, మొతు ం నలుగురు భారయలుండేవారు. ఆ నలుగుర్టలో ఆ ధనవంతుడు తన నాలగ వ భారయనే చాలా ఎకుకవగా పేమి ి ంచేవాడు. మంచి మంచి ఖ్ర్ీదన ెై వసాుాలతో, విలువెైన ఆభరణాలతో ఆమని ఎంతో చకకగా అలంకర్టంచేవాడు. ఆమ క్ోర్టంది క్ాదనకుండా, అడిగటంది లేదనకుండా, ఆమక్ోసం ఎంతెన ై ా ప్ియాసప్డి, అనిాట్టలో శ్రీషఠ మైనవి సమకూర్టచ ఇసు​ుండేవాడు.

అతని మూడవ భారయని కూడా అతను ఎంతగానో పేమి ి ంచేవాడు. ఎందుకంట్ే, ఆమ చాలా అందంగా ఉండేది. ఆమ అందచందాలిాబట్టి ఆ ధనవంతుడు ఎంతో గర్టాసూ ు తన బంధువపల మధయలో, సేాహితుల మధయలో ఆమను చూపిసు ూ చాలా గొప్ుగా భావించేవాడు. ఏదేమన ై ా, ఈమ ఇంత సస్ందరయవత్ర క్ాబట్టి, ఎప్పుడో కప్పుడు తనను విడిచి మర్వర్టతోనెన ై ా వెళ్ళుపో తుందేమోనని భయప్డుతష అనుక్షణం ఆమను చాలా జఞగీతుగా క్ాపాడుకుంట్ూ ఉండేవాడు.

ఆ ధనవంతుడు తన ర్ండవ భారయని కూడా బాగా పేమి ి ంచేవాడు.

ఆమ అతనిక్ంతో నమాకసు​ుర్ాలు. ఎందుకంట్ే, ఆమ అతని ప్ట్ు బహు శీదధకలిగట, అనిా విషయాలోు ఓరు​ుగా మలిగేది. అతనిక్ సంతోషమొచిచనా, దు​ుఃఖ్మొచిచనా మొదట్టగా ఆమ దగగ రక్ే వెళ్ళు, అనిాట్టనీ ఆమతో ప్ంచుకునేవాడు. ఎందుకంట్ే అలాంట్ట సమయాలోు ఆమ అతనిా ఎంతగానో ఆదర్టంచి, ధెైరయప్ర్టచేది. అతని కషి సి త్రనుండి బయట్టక్ొచేచంత వరకూ అతనిక్ ప్ికకన ఎంతో అండగా నిలబడేది.

ఇక ఆ ధనవంతుని మొదట్ట భారయ. ఆమ ఎంతో కృశంచిపో య, చాలా బలహీనంగా ఉండేది. అతను ఆమని అస్లు ప్ట్టించుకునేవాడు క్ాదు. అయనప్ుట్టక్ర ఆమ తన భరు ప్ట్ు ఎంతో పేిమ కలిగట, కుట్లంబం ప్ట్ు భారం కలిగట, ఆ ధనవంతుని ఇంట్ట బాధయతలు, వాయపారలావాదేవీలనిాంట్టనీ చకకగా చూసుకునేది. ఎనిాచేసన ి ా క్ానీ, ఆ ధనవంతునిక్ ఈ భారయంట్ే అంత ఇషి ం ఉండేది క్ాదు. ఆమని అస్లు పేమి ి ంచక పో గా, ఆమ ఒక ఒకతె ఉందని కనీసం లక్షయపట్ేివాడే క్ాదు.

ఇదిలా ఉండగా, ఓ ర్ోజు ఆ ధనవంతుని ఆర్ోగయం బాగా క్ీణించింది. తాను ఎకుకవక్ాలం బితకనని అతనిక్ ముందునుండే తెలుసు. ఎంత డబుబ ఖ్రుచపట్టినా, ఎంతమంది వెద ై ుయలచుట్ూ ి త్రర్టగటనాక్ానీ ఫలితం లేకపో యంది. చివర్టక్ మరణప్డకలో ఉనా ఆ ధనవంతుడు, గడిచిన జీవితమంతట్టనీ జఞాప్కం చేసుకుని, తనలో తాను ఇలా మాట్ాుడుకుంట్లనా​ాడు. "ఇంతక్ాలం నేను నా నలుగురు భారయలతో కలిసి, ఇంత విలాసవంతంగా జీవించాను కదా. మర్టప్పుడు నేను చనిపో తే, వీర్టలో ఎవరు నాతో పాట్ూ వసాురు. వీరంతా ననుావిడిచిపో తార్ా ? అదే జర్టగటతే నేనిక ఒంట్ర్టవాడనెైపో తాను కదా." అని మనసు్లో ఎంతో చింతకలిగట దు​ుఃఖసూ ు ఉండగా, అతని నాలుగో భారయ అతని దగగ రకు వచిచంది. అప్పుడామతో ఇలా అనా​ాడు. "అందర్టలోక్లాు నినుా నా పాిణంకంట్ే ఎకుకవగా పేమి ి ంచాను. నీ ప్ట్ు ఎంతో శీదధ తీసుకుని, నువాడిగటందలాు క్ాదనక నా సమసాునీా నీక్చిచ, ఈర్ోజువరకూ నీ మంచిచెడడలనీా చూసుకునా​ాను. ఇంతక్ాలం ననుా వెనాంట్ట నాతోనే ఉనా​ావప కదా. నేనల ె ాగూ చనిపో తునా​ాను. మర్ట నేను చనిపో యనప్పుడు ననుా ఒంట్ర్టగా విడిచిపట్ి క నేనక ె కడిక్ వెళు త అకకడిక్, నాతో పాట్ూ వసాువా?" అని అడిగాడు.

"నేను ర్ాను. అయనా నీతో పాట్ూ నేనెందుక్ొసాును. అది అసంభవం." అంట్ూ బదులిచిచ అకకడి నుండి వెళ్ళిపో యంది. తానెంతగానో పేిమించిన

నాలుగో భారయ మాట్, అతని గుండెలు ో ప్దునెన ై ఖ్డగ ంలా దూసుకుపో యంది. ఒకకసార్టగా కుప్ుకూలిపో యాడు. దు​ుఃఖ్ాకనిా దిగమింగుకుని, తన మూడవ భారయని కూడా అదే విధంగా "నేను చనిపో తే, ననుా ఒంట్ర్టగా విడిచిపట్ి కుండా, నాతో పాట్ూ వసాువా ?"అని అడిగాడు. అందుక్ామ, "ర్ాను ర్ాను. నా అందమన ై జీవితానిా విడిచిపట్టి నేనల ె వసాును. నీవప క్ాకపో తే మర్ొకరు. నీవప చనిపో యాక్ా, వేర్ొకర్టని పళ్ళు చేసుకుని అతనితో వెళ్ళిపో తాను. అంతేక్ానీ, నా విలువెన ై జీవితానిా నేనల ె ా వృధాచేసుకుంట్ాను." అంట్ూ తన కుండబదద లు క్ొట్టినట్లి నిరణ యానిా వయకు ప్రచి అకకడనుండి వెళ్ళిపో యంది. ఆమ మాట్లకు ఆ ధనవంతుని హృదయం చాలా గాయప్డింది.

ఈలోగా, అతని ర్ండో భారయ వచిచంది. ఆమతో, "నాకు ఏదెైనా సహాయం క్ావాలి్న ప్ిత్రసార్ీ, నీ దగగ రక్ే వచేచవాడిా. నువపా కూడా నాక్ంతగానో సహాయప్డేదానవప. ఇప్పుడు మర్ొకసార్ట నీ సహాయం నాకు క్ావాలి. ఇప్పుడు నేను చనిపో యనప్పుడు కూడా నాకు తోడుగా ఉండి నాతో పాట్ూ వసాువా ?" అని అడిగాడు. అందుక్ా ర్ండో భారయ "ఈసార్టమాతిం నేను నీకు విధంగానూ సహాయప్డలేను. ననుా క్షమించు. క్ావాలంట్ే నేను నీ సమాధివరకు నీతో వచిచ నినుా సాగనంప్పతాను. అంతే క్ానీ నేను నీతో ర్ాలేను." అని చెపిుంది. అంత నమాకమన ై తన మూడవ భారయ కూడా ఇలానే మాట్ాుడి వెళ్ళిపో యే సర్టక్, ఆ ధనవంతుడు తలవంచుకుని, తట్లిక్ోలేక దు​ుఃఖ్ంతో ఏడుసూ ు ఉనా​ాడు.

ఈలోగా అతనితో సారం ఇలా మాట్ాుడుతుంది. "నీతో పాట్ూ నేనొసు ాను. నినుా నేను ఒంట్ర్టగా విడిచి పో ను. నువ్ ఎకకడిక్ వెళు త అకకడిక్ నేనూ వసాును." ఆ ధనవంతుడు తలపైక్త్రు చూసేసర్టక్ తన మొదట్ట భారయ ఎదురుగా నిలబడి ఉంది. ఆమని సర్టగగ ా పో ష్ించనందువలు బాగా బలహీనంగా బకకచిక్కపో య ఉంది. ఆమను చూసూ ు ఆ ధనవంతుడు, " నేను నీకు చేయగలిగటన సి​ిత్రలో ఉనాప్పుడు, నీ విషయంలో మంచి శీదధ చూపించి ఉండాలి్ంది. ఏనాడు నినుా నేను ప్ట్టించుక్ోలేదు. అయనా నీవప నాతో వసాువా ?" అంట్ూ ఎంతగానో ఏడాచడు.

వాసు వానిక్, జీవితంలో మన ప్ిత్ర ఒకకర్టక్ర నలుగురు భారయలుంట్ారు. మన నాలగ వ భారయ ఎవరంట్ే, అది మన శర్ీరమే. సమసేయ లేదు, మనమంత సమయానిా వెచిచంచి దానిా ఎంత చకకగా, అందంగా, ఆర్ోగయంగా క్ాపాడుకునేందుకు ప్ియాసప్డినా, అది మనం చనిపో యనప్పడు మనతో పాట్ూ జీవించి ఉండదు. మనలిా ఆ క్షణమే విడిచిపడుతుంది. మన మూడో భారయ ? మనం కలిగట ఉనా సిర్స ట ంప్దలు, ఆసిు పాసు​ులు, పేరుప్ిఖ్ాయతులు. అవి కూడా మనం చనిపో యన తరవాత, మనతో ర్ావప సర్టగదా, వేర్ే వార్టని చూసుకుని వార్టతో వెళ్ళిపో తాయ. ఇక ర్ండో భారయ మన కుట్లంబ్రకులు, మన బంధుమితుిలు. మనం జీవించి ఉనాంత క్ాలం, మనకు ఎంత సనిాహితంగా వారు జీవించినప్ుట్టక్ర, వారు కూడా మనం చనిపో యనప్పుడు మనతో ర్ారు. మహా అయతే వారు మనలిా సమాధి వరకూ వచిచ సాగనంప్పతారు.

శ్ార్ీరక సుఖ్సంతోషాల క్ోసం ప్ియాసప్డుతష, మనం బొ త్రు గా నిరు క్షయం చేసు ునా మన మొదట్ట భారయ ఎవర్ో తెలుసా ? ఎవర్ో క్ాదు, అది మన ఆతాయే. ఒకసార్ట ఆలోచించండి. మన ఆతాకు మరణం ఉండదు. అద కకట్ే మనతోనే నిరంతరం జీవీసూ ు , మనం ఎకకడిక్ వెళు త అకకడిక్ మన వెంట్ వచేచది. పియ ి సహో దర్ీ, సహో దరుడా.. నిజంగా మనం ఒకకసార్ట ఆలోచించి సరాసతాయనిా గీహించాలి. అశ్ాశాతమైన వాట్ట వెంట్బడి ప్రుగులిడక, శ్ాశాతమన ై వాట్టపై దృష్ి​ి నిలుపాలి.

దేవపని వాకయం ఈవిధంగా సలవిసు​ుంది."ర్ేపమి ే సంభవించునో మీకు తెలియదు. మీ జీవమేపాట్టద? ి మీరు క్ొంతసేప్ప కనబడి అంతలో మాయమైపో వప ఆవిర్ట(వంట్టవార్ే ) క్ార్ా." - యాక్ోబు 4:14. ఏ క్షణం ఉంట్ామో, ఏ క్షణం మాయమౌతామో మానవ మాతుిలమైన మనక్ తెలియదు. మన చేత్రలో అవక్ాశమునాప్పుడు చేజఞరుచకుని, తరవాత ఆ ధనవంతునిలా గగోగలు పట్టి, ఏడిచ ప్ిలాపించేకంట్ే, ఉనా క్ొదిద సమయానిా సదిానియోగం చేసుకుంట్ూ, మనతో నితయమూ జీవించి ఉండే, ఆతా విషయంలో తగు శీదధ తీసుకుని, బలప్రుచుక్ోవాలి. అట్టి కృప్ దేవపడు మనందర్టక్ర అనుగీహించును గాక. ఆమన్.
