PROVIDING ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITY This year, VentureLift will offer grants to students facing financial barriers, ensuring this unique learning opportunity is accessible to everyone eager to develop business understanding, while building their business acumen.

THE VENTURELIFT WAY VentureLift is a one-week summer program designed for students who are interested in exploring careers in business, finance, economics, consulting, and entrepreneurship, as well as other professional pathways where financial literacy and strategic thinking are important. The program will take place June 22–26, 2026 at St. George’s School and is open to Grade 10, 11, and 12 students from across British Columbia.

VENTURELIFT LEADERSHIP

During the week, students participate in a series of workshops led by industry professionals and university educators. The program introduces participants to core business concepts and provides insight into fields such as investment banking, financial analysis, consulting, and company strategy. Students work collaboratively to analyze a real-world business scenario, develop recommendations, and present their ideas. The program is designed to build financial literacy, critical thinking, communication, and problemsolving skills through practical application.

FUTUREME

FOR GRADES 11, & 12

FOR GRADES 8,9, & 10

Founded in 2025, VentureLift was created to bridge the gap between classroom business learning and realworld application for high school students. Through an immersive, case-based competition built around a real operating company, VentureLift provides students with the opportunity to analyze an authentic business challenge, collaborate under pressure, and apply strategic thinking in a professional context. VentureLift aims to serve as a launchpad for students interested in any business profession beyond the classroom.

FutureMe by VentureLift is a three-day personal finance summer program designed for younger students, focused on helping them build the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions for themselves. Through interactive workshops and using these future life goals, students explore topics such as saving, budgeting, investing, and responsible spending.

In its inaugural iteration, VentureLift partnered with Flynn Group, a leading North American building envelope contractor, to deliver a case experience grounded in real industry constraints, market conditions, and operational decision-making. By working with a real company facing real strategic choices, students gained firsthand exposure to how business decisions are made at scale. More than a competition, VentureLift positions itself as a platform for experiential learning that connects students with industry professionals and mentors while emphasizing student leadership, practical insight, and real-world relevance.

The program also introduces key life milestones, including planning for postsecondary education, understanding debt and financial risk, and navigating major future purchases. Hosted at St. George’s Senior School from June 23–25, 2026, FutureMe is designed as an early step into the broader VentureLift experience and more advanced business learning.
