THIS MOMENT. THIS PLACE. A CAMPAIGN FOR ST. GEORGE’S SCHOOL
TO THOSE WHO SHAPED OUR TRADITIONS.
TO THOSE WHO WILL SHAPE OUR TOMORROW.
THESE ARE THE MOMENTS THAT MAKE US.
WHO WE ARE AND WHO WE WANT TO BECOME.
TOGETHER, IN THIS SPECIAL PLACE, LET’S MAKE MORE MOMENTS POSSIBLE
FOR ALL BOYS.
WHY THIS MOM Since 1930, St. George’s School has been shaping young men of character, integrity, courage, and purpose. Over 9,000 young men, generations of students, have walked through our doors to become leaders in Business, Medicine, Law, Technology, Arts, Athletics, and countless other fields. But their greatest achievement is not what they do, but who they become. This special moment in our history is a time to recognize what St. George’s School has accomplished since 1930 — shaping young men of character, integrity, courage, and purpose.
“
WE ALL CARE DEEPLY ABOUT THE FUTURE OF SAINTS, OUR SCHOOL, AND THE BOYS WHOSE LIVES ARE SHAPED HERE. TOGETHER, LET’S PREPARE MORE BOYS FOR A WORLD THAT IS CHANGING FASTER THAN EVER BEFORE.”
OPEN DOORS FOR EVERY BOY. Today, as we approach our Centennial in 2030, we have a responsibility to those who come after us, to ensure that Saints remains strong, relevant, and accessible for the next century of boys. Access to exceptional education often is determined by circumstance rather than potential. We are a school that provides needs-based financial assistance. This allows access to exceptional education and provides opportunities to deserving boys. Becoming a need-blind school is ambitious and will be a transformational gift for our city. This Moment. This Place. A Campaign for St. George’s School will help create more opportunities and more possibilities for boys whose lives can be profoundly changed by access to this extraordinary school and this extraordinary community of St. George’s. Strong endowment allows institutions to thrive and lead. And that is what St. George’s boys are meant to do.
DRIVE PROGRAM EXCELLENCE. Alongside our goal to ensure remarkable boys and young men can access a Saints education regardless of financial circumstances, we also strive to ensure our Academic, Athletic, Artistic, Leadership and Future-Focused Programs continue to remain among the very best anywhere. Endowment funding, donated in perpetuity, will support future programming beyond the traditional classroom, through purposeful, long-term partnerships with universities, industry leaders, non-profit, and research organizations. These important programming experiences extend well beyond traditional program models and include multi-year interdisciplinary projects, innovation labs, collaborative design challenges, short courses, summer programs, and student-led initiatives addressing local and global issues.
MENT MATTERS The future belongs to those who can adapt, innovate, collaborate, and lead. The future belongs to young men who are ready and relevant. This vital work is anchored in five key areas to support important future learning:
TECHNOLOGY FOR PUBLIC GOOD: Advancing research through technology and neuroscience to better understand how boys learn best. By connecting scientific discovery with classroom practice, we will help shape the future of learning for generations of students. BUILDING A BETTER FUTURE: Developing the creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurial mindset to design innovative solutions for a changing world. REIMAGINING LEADERSHIP: Leadership has always been at the heart of a St. George’s education. Tomorrow’s leaders must be agile agents of change and capable of solving problems we cannot yet imagine. Leadership at St. George’s is grounded in character and strengthened through authentic experiences that inspire service, collaboration, and positive change. ARTISTIC DISCOVERY OF MEANING: Inspiring creativity and expression to deepen understanding of ourselves, others, and the human experience. The Arts cultivate imagination, empathy, and communication, helping students discover new perspectives and meaningful ways to contribute to the world. SYSTEMS AND SCIENCE: FEEDING THE WORLD: Advancing scientific discovery and systems thinking to address the global challenges of food and sustainability. By engaging in interdisciplinary inquiry and experiential learning, students will develop solutions to food inequality in their communities.
NOW IT’S OUR TURN. $100 MILLION SAINTS ENDOWMENT BY 2030. Each generation inherits a responsibility. The Founders of St. George’s School built a remarkable school. And, the generations that followed strengthened it. Today, as we launch This Moment. This Place, our challenge to you is to help grow our endowment to $100 million by our Centenary in 2030. Now it’s our turn. To achieve this vision, we need to raise $30 million in new endowed gifts by 2030.
MAKE IT POSSIBLE. JOIN US TO CREATE EVEN MORE MOMENTS.
