LikeLooking at our recent form, there have been positives. We’ve only suffered three defeats in our last nine games, which shows we are becoming more competitive and harder to beat.

However, the reality is this — good performances are not enough. We haven’t turned enough of those performances into wins, and when we haven’t performed, we’ve been punished. That’s something we have to change.

At this stage of the season, it’s simple — we need results, and we need them fast.

We knew from the start that this division would be a challenge, and that’s proven to be the case. There are no easy games at this level, and you get punished if you’re not at it.

Our Hunts Cup Final win against Eaton Socon was a nice evening and nice distraction and a reminder we are the best team in Hunts.

We know where we are — third from bottom with five games to go. There’s no hiding from that. But there’s still an opportunity, and it’s down to us to take it.

On a personal note, I care deeply about this football club. I’m a St Neots Town fan every defeat hurts. But it’s my responsibility to keep driving this group forward, to keep demanding more, and to make sure we fight right until the end.

Today is another big test, but also another opportunity. We have to be ready. Now is the time for everyone to come together.Players, staff, supporters — we all have a part to play in these final games. We need energy, belief, and a real togetherness from the first whistle to the last.

We know what’s at stake. We know what this club means.

Let’s stand together, fight for every point, and give everything we’ve got to make sure we finish this season the right way.

COLESHILL TOWN (The Colemen) Year Founded: 1885 Chairman: Paul Billing Club Website: www.coleshilltownfc.co.uk GOOD AFTERNOON AND A WARM WELCOME TO THE PREMIER PLUS STADIUM TO COLESHILL TOWN FOR THEIR THIRD VISIT This is Coleshill’s third visit to the Town having lost onescheduled trip to the COVID outbreak in 2020/21. In fact,our two clubs also missed two scheduled matches at Coleshill for the same reason. During our two seasons together in the Southern League Central, we met just once here at St Neots when two goals from Joe Neal and a third from ThomasDickens gave our lads a comfortable 3-0 victory. Then in our first season in the Northern Premier League Central in 2022/23 we won 2-1 at home with goals from Trey Charles and Manny Osei but were comprehensively defeated 4-0 at Coleshill. Earlier this season, our trip to Coleshill resulted in a 3-1 victory for our lads with Harvey Williams, Christiam Tavernier (pen), and Kieran Barnes our marksmen. Two weeks ago, our visitors inflicted on league leaders Carlton Town a 2-1 defeat which maintained their slot in the play-offs at that time six points clear of their nearest challengers. Nowthis afternoon our visitors seek their first victory at the Premier Plus Stadium. However, they arrive here in fine form with an unbeaten run of eight games behind them that has seen them climb up the league table and remain undefeated since 3rdFebruary when they fell to a surprise defeat away at Loughborough Students but since then they have been very consistent. In the FA Cup this season Coleshill defeated Worcester Ramblers in their first match but then came up against higher graded Hednesford Town and were soundly beaten.

CLUB WELFARE OFFICER GEMMA KEECH My name is Gemma Keech and I am the Club Welfare Officer (CWO) for St Neots Town Football Club.

Each football club that offers youth and open aged football is required to have a Club Welfare Officer. I am responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of the children, young people and vulnerable adults who attend the club, whether that be within the Academy or players aged Under 18 in the First Team.

My role is to be the first point of contact for all club members and parents / carers regarding concerns for the welfare of anyone within the club that fall within this group.

St Neots Town Football Club have appointed me to this voluntary role because of my employment roles in Education and Children’s Social Care, and therefore my knowledge and experience in Safeguarding and Child Protection.

My aim to be an approachable person for young people and their parents or carers, as well as club members, where issues or concerns may arise. These issues may range from worries about not fitting in or feeling left out, an individual dangerous incident or situation, other adult or young persons’ behaviour or more serious allegations against another person, volunteer, member or professional at the Club.

ANDYSMANCLUB WHAT IS ANDYSMANCLUB?

WHEN IS IT?

ANDYSMANCLUB is a free peer-to-peer group that provides a place for men to come together in a safe and open environment to talk about the issues or problems that they have faced or are currently facing.

ANDYSMANCLUB meet every Monday at 7pm (excluding Bank Holiday Mondays).

HOW DOES IT WORK? The process is about bringing men together who have been in similar situations, to help each other on a peer to peer basis, sharing how they have dealt with various situations through lived experiences. No matter how big or small your problem feels, we are here to support each other. The 5 questions that are asked each week are designed not only to encourage men to talk, but to start to focus on the positives and on strategies to keep moving forward. There is no pressure to answer any of the questions and it is not uncommon for men to just listen for the first few sessions. The clubs all run on the same format and adhere to the same guidelines. A key principle of ANDYSMANCLUB is anything that is said in the club, stayswithinthe club.

Seasons Past - With John Walker This Edition Focuses on Season 2000/01

This is another in the second series of historical records, highlighting this time our second season at our brand-new Rowley Park depicting both the highs and the lows in the recent proud history of the Club. After the euphoria of our promotion back to Step Five after seven seasons away from the Premier Division of the UCL, it posed the challenge of re-establishing the team at that level of competition. Ironically the outstanding headline for the season was provided by Reserve striker Steve McKnight who scored 35 goals for his side as they were the highest scorers in the whole of the UCL’s 76 teams in four divisions with 127 goals in just 34 league matches. The senior side did reach the semi-final of the Huntingdonshire Senior Cup but were beaten 2-0 at Hall Road, Eynesbury.

We managed two league ‘doubles’ against Kempston Rovers and Wootton Blue Cross but could not beat Bedfordshire clubs in cup matches losing to Langford and Stotfold (home) and Potton away.

Beaten in all three meetings with Eynesbury Rovers – twice in the league and once in the Cup and the only goal to our credit in those three matches was an own goal!

Back in the FA Vase after an absence of seven seasons, we won at Stamford in the FA Cup – 1-0 after extra time but were beaten at home by Tilbury in the next round.

Despite their high scoring exploits our Reserve side finished third in the UCL Reserve Division Two. Our leading scorers were as follows: • Darek Joswiak13 • Steve Brown11 • Dean Parkes 8 • Paul Conway 4 The Player/Manager was Guy Loveday who scored twice coming on as a substitute John Walker

Opponent Spotlight COLESHILL TOWN

Expectations had risen for this season and 2014/15 didn't disappoint. Another recordbreaking season saw Town finish Runners-up to Basford United. The Colemen also reached the Semi Final of both the League Cup and the Birmingham Senior Cup finally losing to Birmingham City in a penalty shoot-out. Striker Shane Benjamin became the clubs all-time leading goalscorer with 47 and took the League Golden Boot title.

2015/16 started with a 5-2 hammering at title rivals Sporting Khalsa but manager Paul Casey was slowly building a squad capable of competing for trophies. Town reached the 3rd Qualifying Round of the FA Cup, the 4th Round of the FA Vase and the Quarter Final of the League Cup. A 5th place finish was below par, but Coleshill finished strongly with seven wins from their last ten games.

2016/17 was possibly the best season in the club's history. In November Paul Casey was head-hunted by Hednesford Town and his assistant Simon Lyons took charge and masterminded an incredible winning streak that took the Town to Runners-Up in the League for the second time in four years, but the highlight was the fabulous run in the FA Vase that finally came to an end just one step from Wembley at the hands of odds-on favourites South Shields. The Semi-Final First Leg at Pack Meadow attracted a club record crowd of 1755. However, when the season ended Chairman Paul Billing released Simon Lyons. Several of the FA Vase squad moved on and Cameron Stuart was installed as the new Manager.

In 2017/18 Chairman Billing believed former Aston Villa apprentice and Coalville Town stalwart Stuart was the man to get Coleshill promoted after several years knocking on the door, no pressure then! Due to reorganisation of Non-League Level 4, two teams would be promoted from the MFL Premier, so this was the year to go for it! Coleshill went top of the table from the start with six straight wins and were still top in February, but Bromsgrove Sporting finished the stronger and Coleshill had to settle for the Runners-Up spot.

Saying goodbye to the MFL saw Coleshill reach the Final of the League Cup for the first time but were beaten by Walsall Wood in the final at Walsall's Bescot Stadium. 2018/19 saw Coleshill play in the Southern League, the highest standard in their 133 years history. The plan was to consolidate for the first attempt at this level but with a week to go to the end of the season they still had a chance of making a play-off place, eventually finishing a very respectable 9th. It was also Coleshill's first attempt at the FA Trophy but that ended in defeat to Kidsgrove Athletic. 2019/20, a second season in the Southern League and an aim to go one better and reach the play off places, and then Covid 19 reared its ugly head. The season came to an early halt being declared "Null and Void". And 2020/21 was even worse as the season also came to an early end with Coleshill playing only 8 League games. Town did get their first win in the FA Trophy and got through three rounds before they were well beaten by Telford United from the National League North.

Player Profiles Coleshill Town

CAMERON BELFORD - A well-known figure in local football, Belford, has built a strong reputation as a commanding goalkeeper with sharp reflexes, having played for Stafford Rangers, Nuneaton, Tamworth, and Rushall. He also brings valuable league experience from spells with Bury, Southend United, and Accrington Stanley, where he proved himself at a higher level.

With his leadership, agility, and vast experience between the sticks, Belford is set to bring stability and confidence to the squad.

GEORGE CLEET - Powerful and experienced central defender. Signs from Boldmere St Michaels, where he was a regular until, sustaining injury. Now looking to reestablish himself. Previous clubs include highgate and Halesowen Town LEWIS ALLISON - Technically very comfortable as a player and versatile in being able to play in a number of positions. Joins from Boldmere St Michaels, where he impressed when playing against Coleshill BASSIT MANDEY - Bassit is a talented footballer who across the midfield but has also played in defence, when asked. Known for his agility and vision on the field, Bassit has been a key contributor to the team's performances. His ability to control the midfield and create opportunities for his teammates makes him a valuable asset to the team DAN BROOKES - Dan Brookes is a talented defender, known for his solid defensive skills and ability to read the game effectively. He has become a key player in their lineup, contributing to their strong performances in various competitions. The 2024/25 season saw Dan Brookes take a clean sweep of awards including Players Player, Supporters Player and Managers Player of the Season.

HARRY SWEENEY - Essentially a left back but can play in a number of postions. Always looking to push forward to support in attacking plays. But never shirks his defensive work. signed from Boldmere St Michaels. A key member of last season;s squad

Player Profiles Coleshill Town TAYLOR CARTER-BYRNE - Taylor is no stranger to the club having spent several successful seasons at the club. A top centre half at the level, Taylor has been a key figure in his teams, contributing to their defensive strength and leadership on the field and played a crucial role in Coleshill Town's 2025 Walsall Senior Cup victory.

DANIEL GYASI - Daniel is a forward who has played for clubs such as Stourbridge and Redditch United in the Southern Football League. Known for his pace and versatility, making an impact in the lower tiers of English football. Gyasi continues to bring energy and determination to the pitch, contributing to his team's efforts in competitive matches.

GIO DAINTY - Giovanni "Gio" David Dainty is a dedicated and talented midfielder proudly representing Coleshill Town Football Club.
