Contrasting emotions over the past week from the highs of a local derby County Cup Semi Final hammering of Eynesbury Rovers here at the Premier Plus Stadium and then the lows of our defeat at Bourne Town just four days later in a game in which a draw would have been a fair result for both sides having huffed and puffed all afternoon and only tested each other’s keepers maybe once or twice each. Result aside, another performance full of grit and determination, something the lads can not be faulted for and a great travelling support cheering the boys on so thanks to everyone who came along.

As these notes are being penned, great news that the Evening with Alan Smith event has totally sold out with all 130 seats sold and with the help of the MC for the evening, The comedians, Chaii Hub and the Bar staff I hope it turns out to be a fantastic evening and lots of funds are raised for young Angelo.

The Darts and Pool teams continue to do well in their respective leagues with the Darts team still sitting proudly at the top of the pile so it’s a big well done to the players of both teams, you are doing the Club proud.

Sutton Coldfield arrive in good form after an excellent 4–0 victory over Mickleover. They are a strong and well-drilled side with plenty of quality, this league is tough weather it’s home, away, top or bottom and these are a side on the up.

From our point of view, there were real positives to take from our recent Hunts Senior Cup win against Eynesbury Rovers. As a local derby, it was a fixture everyone looked forward to, and it was important for us to give our supporters something to cheer about after last season’s game, it was pleasing to put those demons to bed and show what this group is capable of.

Last weekend’s defeat to Bourne Town was disappointing and frustrating for all of us. The result leaves us fully aware that we are in a relegation scrap, and there’s no hiding from that. Every game now is crucial, and we know we have to keep fighting for every point available.

Finally, I want to thank our supporters for their continued backing, particularly those who travelled to Bourne Town last week. I was gutted not to give you something to cheer about after making that journey but your support never goes unnoticed and means a huge amount to the players and staff.

On our visit earlier in the season. Saints recorded an impressive victory on a 4G surface against our visitors today and found themselves in a healthy league position. However, since then it’s been a roller coaster of a season with Highs and Lows and now we find ourselves just below Sutton Coldfield by a few points and just off the relegation spots in this hugely competitive league, So our remaining home form is going to be of vital importance to make the Premier Plus Stadium our fortress and secure as many valuable points to push ourselves to safety and a healthier position in this League.

So, with the next Few games against teams in and around us, it’s needing a huge lift in positive Energy and results by the Lads to achieve our goal of staying at Step 4 and building on for the future. More recently they were here three seasons ago when we had our single previous season in the NPL. On that occasion our visitors won 3-1 with Robbie Mason scoring our consolation goal. Full details of our previous meeting are below.Sutton Coldfield arrive here after a difficult first half of the season in which they parted company with Manager Cameron Stuart replacing him in October with Jamma Richards. Since his appointment they have picked up form and results and at the time these notes were penned they were fifteenth in the league table after a very convincing 4-0 home victory over Mickleover last weekend. However, they have played one game more than our lads. Last season they finished twelfth in the final league table with 50 points from 40 completed matches.

In the FA Cup this season Sutton Coldfield had an excellent run winning four ties.

They beat Stone Old Alleynians 2-0 away before recording a home victory over Newcastle Town (3-1). They then drew 2-2 at home with Abbey Hulton United before repeating that score in the replay before winning in a penalty shoot-out. They then went on to beat higher graded Stourbridge 3-1 at home before losing 0-1 (also at home) to Stamford AFC. They also began well in the FA Trophy beating Rugby Borough 2-1 and Kidsgrove Athletic 3-2 both at home before losing 0-3 away at Corby Town.

CLUB WELFARE OFFICER GEMMA KEECH My name is Gemma Keech and I am the Club Welfare Officer (CWO) for St Neots Town Football Club.

Each football club that offers youth and open aged football is required to have a Club Welfare Officer. I am responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of the children, young people and vulnerable adults who attend the club, whether that be within the Academy or players aged Under 18 in the First Team.

My role is to be the first point of contact for all club members and parents / carers regarding concerns for the welfare of anyone within the club that fall within this group.

St Neots Town Football Club have appointed me to this voluntary role because of my employment roles in Education and Children’s Social Care, and therefore my knowledge and experience in Safeguarding and Child Protection.

My aim to be an approachable person for young people and their parents or carers, as well as club members, where issues or concerns may arise. These issues may range from worries about not fitting in or feeling left out, an individual dangerous incident or situation, other adult or young persons’ behaviour or more serious allegations against another person, volunteer, member or professional at the Club.

For the second time this season St Neots ran the runaway league leaders Carlton Town very close, beaten by the odd goal in three in what was a tight contest. In a match where the visiting goalkeeper was the busier of the two, St Neots could have produced an upset but Carlton plough on, now leading the league table by fourteen points with the chasing pack faltering. St Neots were without striker Neo Richard-Noel who is recovering from injury, and that gave James Stainsby another opportunity to lead the attack, but he got little joy against one of the meanest defences in the league.The home side defended well but was still breached twice – the second time by a first touch of a substitute and they failed to turn some swift attacking play into clear chances.

They now regroup for their midweek Hunts Senior Cup semi-final visit of neighbours Eynesbury Rovers.

After an evenly matched start St Neots had the first significant chance when following a corner, the ball fell to defender Charlie Bowen but off balance he could only fire over the bar. However, the visitors were happy to play keep-ball building up their attacks patiently to wait for an opening. Harvey Williams was tormenting the visiting defence and after a quarter of an hour he was brought down on the edge of the visiting box earning two visiting players yellow cards one for the foul and the second for his persistent protests at the decision.

Kieran Barnes’ free kick was saved at full stretch by visiting keeper Felix Annan and at the other end Ashley Chambers fired over the bar. Then after 34 minutes the visitors went ahead as former St Neots player Lamin Manneh robbed a home defender and crossed for Ashley Chambers to take full advantage of slack marking to score from close range. St Neots responded but saw visiting defender Ewan Robson clear off the line to maintain the visitors’ narrow advantage. Just before the break the home defence was breached again but visiting skipper Niall Davie fired over the bar.

St Neots looked determined after the break, and they took the game to their visitors but found it difficult to create a significant opening. Manneh shot wide as the visitors broke forward but St Neots looked good in possession but still finding the visiting defence well organised and sound.

MATCH REPORT Carlton Town (H) 17 January 2026 Then then visitors opted for a significant change in their attack introducing substitute Oliver Clark and within a minute of arriving he doubled Carlton’s tally with his first touch – a spectacular volley on the turn that was to prove decisive. Williams broke clear but shot wide but with nine minutes left St Neots deservedly got some reward for their efforts when Rhys Thorpe netted from a corner. That last frantic period saw St Neots in control but unable to break down the stubborn well organised visiting back line, with Carlton holding on to complete that important league double to extend their lead at the top of the table.

St Neots turned on the style in the second half of this Hunts Senior Cup semifinal to see off a rather pallid performance from neighbours Eynesbury Rovers.It was the fifth Senior Cup meeting of the two sides in the past fifteen seasons and St Neots’ fourth victory.They now go on to meet in ‘the battle of the Ouse’ with Eaton Socon who will appear in their first ever Senior Cup Final after seeing off St Ives Town in a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw.Five goals in a devastating 18 minutes spell just after the break saw the visitors humbled after a first half where the hosts failed to turn their possessional superiority into goals. St Neots opted to rest a couple of defenders for the match bringing in Stacey Freeman and Magloire Muyembe but their third change – Jessi Obeng for James Stainsby – was significant as they saw him pick up the man of the match award and two goals in only his fifth start of the season.

St Neots made a sparkling start opening the scoring after just three minutes as a deep cross from Harvey Williams was headed back across goal for Jessi Obeng to net from close range. What followed was a solid defensive performance by the visitors as St Neots tried to make their superior possession count. Then after 25 minutes Rhys Thorpe headed wide after Magloire Muyembe had won the ball in midfield and it was half an hour before the visitors threatened the home goal but a free kick in a threatening position was wasted. Just before the break a poor clearance set up Obeng, but he was unable to take advantage.

After that frustrating first half St Neots quickly set about making amends. Just three minutes after the restart a lengthy throw by Lewis Burgess was not cleared by the visiting defence and Rhys Thorpe was on hand to double the lead.

Seven minutes later another attack following a Burgess throw surrendered a corner and from this visiting keeper Oliver Steinke reached for the ball but could only help it into the net to add to St Neots lead. A couple of bookings for defenders saw the visiting defence become ragged and more vulnerable and on the hour they conceded a penalty clinically tucked away by home skipper Rob Parker to increase the scoreline to 4-0.

MATCH REPORT Eynesbury Rovers (H) 20 January 2026 Within a minute things got even worse for the visitors as their defence was caught square allowing Jessi Obeng burst through to claim his second goal of the match and the rout continued after 66 minutes as the lively Harvey Williams claimed his tenth goal of the current campaign with a crisp finish. With the match clearly won St Neots then introduced substitutes to give them match time and the momentum dropped with the visitors regrouping in defence.

Although home keeper James Goff had been largely a spectator, he did make one significant save late in the game at the expense of a corner, but the visitors ended well beaten as St Neots progressed to their second consecutive Senior Cup Final.

A goal conceded three minutes from the end of normal time saw St Neots plunge to defeat and tumble to eighteenth place in the league table. They never really seemed to get going as an attacking threat after striker Neo Richard-Noel had limped off after 35 minutes with an injury recurrence. His replacement Jessi Obeng tried hard to get the visiting attack going but despite his efforts St Neots never tested the home defence other than one effort just after the break. Bourne who accompanied St Neots to promotion from Step Five at the end of last season have struggled to make their mark at the higher level, but this victory took them to within two points of the Saints and this performance and result will have boosted their confidence. St Neots theoretically strengthened their line-up for this trip with return in defence of Charlie Bowen and Eniola Agemoh-Davies and Neo Richard-Noel was back to lead the attack after injury. Making way were Jessi Obeng and Magloire Muyembe who were on then bench and Harvey Henderson.

There was an attacking start to the game by both sides with Aaron Eyett (Bourne) and Stacey Freeman for the visitors both testing the respective goalkeepers in the first four minutes. An early booking for the home side seemed to slow their approach and Rhys Thorpe fired over for the visitors after their next attack. Then Tom Simmons looked like breaking clear on goal but a well-timed recovery tackle by Eniola Agemoh-Davies rescued the visitors. St Neots progress was halted after 35 minutes when Neo Richard-Noel limped off with a recurrence of his injury and that saw the introduction of Jesse Obeng, the two goals hero from the previous match. He tried hard to get the St Neots attack firing with little success although Harvey Williams did cut in to fire well wide. Right on half time, Robbie Ellis powered through the visiting defence but shot high over the bar.

St Neots created the first second half opening as the lively Obeng left his marker in his wake and crossed to find the head of Thorpe, but home keeper Will Lakin saved at full stretch, and then Obeng again created the opening, but Barnes shot wide of target.

MATCH REPORT Bourne Town (A) 24 January 2026 Agemoh-Davies then joined the St Neots attack but shot wide but after this opening second half salvo, the visitors were pushed back on the defensive.

Bourne seemed to find an additional gear, and Agemoh-Davies repeated his first half heroics with a well times tackle as Simmons once again looked to go clear on goal. Cullum Milne had a shot deflected by a visiting defender and in the last quarter of an hour St Neots sought to boost their attacking efforts by introducing Magloire Muyembe for Kieran Barnes. However, it was the home side who finished the stronger and three minutes from time from a free kick Robbie Ellis claimed the winning goal and three valuable points for the home side.

A five-star first half display set St Neots up for an impressive away victory. They led 4-0 after 45 mins and although they conceded two goals after the break – the second seven minutes into added time – they never looked anything but deserved and convincing winners. Manager Cameron Mawer was delighted with his side describing the performance as ‘immense’ pointing out that it was ten of his side that had lifted the UCL Championship shield almost six months earlier. ‘They have shown they are capable of competing at the higher level’ the delighted Manager commented. He made just one team change from the midweek victory over AFC Rushden and Diamonds restoring Charlie Bowen to the heart of the defence in place of Harvey Henderson who was on the bench. It was a fourth victory in six games lifting the Saints to sixth place in the league table with Harvey Williams scoring twice for the second consecutive match.

From the first whistle the visitors were in charge of proceedings. After just seven minutes Harvey Williams outpaced his marker to fire a low shot past the home keeper, and little was seen of the home attack apart from a shot blocked by a defender. Then after 21 minutes the visitors’ lead was extended when a long ball forward freed Rhys Thorpe and his shot deflected in off the underside of the crossbar.

Connor Furlong was terrifying the home defence with his pace and after 28 minutes with St Neots still dictating play he picked out Murphy Culkin who had joined the attack, but his net bound effort was deflected for a corner. A delicate chip over the defence by Kieran Barnes rebounded from the foot of a post and when ten minutes before the break, the home side did create a clear opening, Jayden Campbell’s cross was headed tamely over the bar by Fraser Doyle. In the last ten minutes before half time St Neots thought they had put the outcome of the match without doubt as they added two further goals. First Harvey Williams added his second goal with a fine individual effort and then he unselfishly picked out the unmarked Michael Amaeshike at the far post to add goal number four.

Two half time substitutions did little for the hosts for on the hour the excellent Williams set up Furlong and when his net bound shot was blocked by a defender, Barnes followed up to fire in from a narrow angle which was cleared off the line by a second defender despite visiting appeals that the ball had crossed the line. Just past the hour in their first real second half attack the home side pulled a goal back when Fraser Doyle was left unmarked and he netted from close range.However, St Neots pressure on the home defence continued and home keeper James Wren twice denied Furlong with full length saves.

BLAST FROM THE PAST 11th Oct 2025 - Sutton Coldfield Town Up for a Sam Willis corner, Charlie Bowen saw a header cleared off the line by a defender and Williams was denied a hat trick by a fine save by Wren. St Neots visibly tired in the final ten minutes as the home side pushed forward and James Goff saved well from James McGrady who then squandered a good chance heading high over the bar. Furlong was denied a goal his performance had deserved when Wren saved well, and the same visiting player then shot across the face of goal. Because of a lengthy delay due to an injury to a home player there were ten minutes added time and just before the final whistle the home side had the final word when following a corner, substitute Reece Gibson produced a searing shot to claim a late consolation for the home side.

ANDYSMANCLUB WHAT IS ANDYSMANCLUB?

WHEN IS IT?

ANDYSMANCLUB is a free peer-to-peer group that provides a place for men to come together in a safe and open environment to talk about the issues or problems that they have faced or are currently facing.

ANDYSMANCLUB meet every Monday at 7pm (excluding Bank Holiday Mondays).

HOW DOES IT WORK? The process is about bringing men together who have been in similar situations, to help each other on a peer to peer basis, sharing how they have dealt with various situations through lived experiences. No matter how big or small your problem feels, we are here to support each other. The 5 questions that are asked each week are designed not only to encourage men to talk, but to start to focus on the positives and on strategies to keep moving forward. There is no pressure to answer any of the questions and it is not uncommon for men to just listen for the first few sessions. The clubs all run on the same format and adhere to the same guidelines. A key principle of ANDYSMANCLUB is anything that is said in the club, stayswithinthe club.

Theclub is open toany man 18 or over, who is going through a storm, been through a storm or just wants to meet a good group of people with the aim of improving one another.

Seasons Past - With John Walker This Edition Focuses on Season 1994/95

ST NEOTS TOWN FC 1994/95 SEASON This is the first in the second series of historical records, highlighting what was our first season at our brand-new Rowley Park depicting both the highs and the lows in the recent proud history of the Club. This was a season to savour in the lower Division of the United Counties League. Our squad which had been assembled during our four years in the Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire leagues at Step Seven under Manager Guy Loveday was largely retained and given the chance to prove themselves at the higher level – and they did just that! They romped to the league title in their first season back at Senior level scoring a record breaking 147 goals in just 47 league and cup matches to move up to the Premier Division of the UCL which they had left seven seasons earlier. One unusual honour was picking up the runners-up medals in the rarely played for UCL Benevolent Cup. League: Final League position: League playing record: Cup playing record:

We completed a memorable league ‘double’ over Harrowby United beating them 13-0 at home (Steve Galbraith scoring four goals) and 9-1 away.

Our attacking approach to the game meant we conceded 41 goals in our 36 league matches but still finished with a goals difference of +78.

We beat higher graded Newport Pagnell in the league KO Cup but lost in the third round.

We also reached the third round of the Hunts Senior Cup – beaten in a replay by another higher graded side – Godmanchester Rovers.

Our youthful Reserve side finished in the top half of their League table.

Opponent Spotlight SUTTON COLDFIELD TOWN

The football club associated with Sutton Coldfield was formed in 1879 with the first game taking place on the 1st of February at "Meadow Plat" in Sutton Park when the club lost 6-2 to Birmingham. The club moved to its present ground in Coles Lane in 1920.

From just after the Second World War until the early 1980s, the club played its football in regional leagues in the area, including Walsall Senior, Birmingham Comb, Birmingham Senior, Worcester Combination, Midland Combination and West Midlands Leagues.

In 1980-81 we reached the First Round proper of the FA Cup for the first time in our history and were drawn at home to Doncaster Rovers of the then Fourth Division. In front of a record crowd of over 2.200 at Coles Lane we played well but were defeated 2-0 with two late goals.

In 1982-83 we joined the Southern League following the introduction of the revised football pyramid. We secured promotion to the Premier League after finishing runners up to Cheltenham Town.

Relegated the following season and then remained in the Southern League at step 4 until 2010-11.

In 1992-93 Sutton reached the First Round proper of the FA Cup for the second time in our history and were drawn away to Bolton Wanderers of the then Second Division at Burnden Park. In front of a crowd of over 5,000, a major shock was on the cards when a late goal for Sutton was ruled out for offside and the game finished with a 2-1 win for Bolton who were promoted that season and also reached the Fifth Round of the FA Cup winning at Anfield along the way.

Another highlight came in 1998-99 the club won the Dr Martins League Cup, beating Cambridge City.

In season 2007-08 Sutton lost in the play-offs to eventual winners Stourbridge and in the following season 2008-09 missed out on the play-offs on goal difference when Chesham United equalized two minutes from time against Bromsgrove Rovers.

Opponent Spotlight SUTTON COLDFIELD TOWN

In season 2010-11 sutton were moved by the FA into the EVO-STICK Northern Premier League Division 1 South and again missed out on the play-offs finishing sixth for the third year in a row.

In 2009-10 and for the first time in our 132-year history Sutton won the Birmingham Senior Challenge Cup beating Nuneaton Town 1-0 in the Final.

2011 saw the installation of the 3G artificial pitch at Coles Lane.

In September 2012, Chris Keogh stepped down as manager after 12 years and joined the Board, his assistant Neil Tooth taking over as manager.

In 2014-15, the Club took the big step of changing the status of the club from a Members Club to a Company Limited by Guarantee.

In the same season, we earned a play-off by finishing fourth in the regular season. In the Semi-Finals we travelled to Newcastle Town, who had finished third, and came away with a 3-1 win. This put us in the Final, away at Leek Town, who had finished second. This turned out to be a great game and Sutton scored a very good 2-0 victory to get promoted to the NPL Premier Division. The last time we had played at level 3 was some 30 odd years ago in the Southern League.

Season 2015-16 was a new experience for us after promotion to step 3, to the Premier Division. After a steady start of 3 draws and 2 losses in the first 5 games, we hit a purple patch over the next 9 games, winning 7, drawing 2, putting us second place in the league eventually finishing a creditable 12th. In the FA Cup we were knocked out in the First Qualifying round by Oadby Town but in the FA Trophy we were more successful, when we reached the First Round proper only to lose to National League side Barrow AFC 1-0.

In 2016-17, Sutton struggled to pick up points and were knocked out of the FA Cup and Trophy early. A difficult decision was made and the club parted company with the management team having won 3 and drawn 5 of the 20 league games played.

Despite some improvement in form we remained in the bottom four for almost the entire season and went into the last game needing to better Corby’s result to survive. A tremendously performance earned a point with a 0 – 0 draw at Workington and with Corby losing at Coalville survival was ensured.

Opponent Spotlight SUTTON COLDFIELD TOWN

The 2017-18 season again, Sutton struggled to pick up league points and were knocked out of the FA Cup and Trophy in the early rounds. With the team having only 5 wins and 5 draws from 29 games and a goal difference of minus 48 the decision was taken to change the management. Neil Tooth was reappointed with a new management team and reinvigorated the team doubling the number of wins and being competitive in almost all the remaining games. However, the deficit inherited was too great and relegation followed.

Relegation saw us competing in the Southern League Division Central for the 2018-19 season. ‘Toothy’ completely rebuilt his squad and which took time to come together and there were some early season disappointments. However the new squad with its balance of experience and youth got to grips with the league and two very good runs in the season saw us finish 5th and qualify for the play-offs. This saw us lose 3–2 after extra - time to Bromsgrove Sporting in front of a crowd of 1,850 in what was possibly the most exciting game of the season. Other highlights were a good FA Cup run which saw us beat Rushall Olympic of the South Premier League Central after a replay before losing to Alfreton Town of the National League North in another replay. We had a little earlier lost on penalties to another National League North Team, Leamington, in the Birmingham Senior Cup. Our last game of the season was against Boldmere St. Michaels in the Final of the Walsall Senior Cup where we lost 2 – 0.

For 2019-20 ‘Toothy’s’ philosophy for the season was to blend experience with the continuing development of U21 players. We had considerable success in the FA Cup with a win over Gresley Rovers, while Redditch and Kettering were beaten after replays. The dream ended with a 1 – 0 defeat to a very good Boston United team in the Third Qualifying Round. There was some success in the FA Trophy with wins over Yaxley and Stafford Rangers before a defeat at the hands of Hednesford Town. The League season started slowly, the cup runs taking a toll, but the results improved as the season progressed including six wins on the bounce in February and March and gave hope that the final weeks of the season might see a play-off place. However, it wasn’t to be and in March the season was terminated with the onset of the Covid pandemic.

Sadly the 2020-21 season was significantly compromised by the continuing COVID-19 pandemic which had a significant impact on all clubs; not just from a playing perspective but survival became a real issue for many across all levels of football.

The season didn’t start until September and was curtailed and then cancelled in November. We had a slow start losing the first games in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy, while only 7 games were possible in the league and we finished with a record of 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.

Opponent Spotlight SUTTON COLDFIELD TOWN

The 2017-18 season again, Sutton struggled to pick up league points and were knocked out of the FA Cup and Trophy in the early rounds. With the team having only 5 wins and 5 draws from 29 games and a goal difference of minus 48 the decision was taken to change the management. Neil Tooth was reappointed with a new management team and reinvigorated the team doubling the number of wins and being competitive in almost all the remaining games. However, the deficit inherited was too great and relegation followed.

Relegation saw us competing in the Southern League Division Central for the 2018-19 season. ‘Toothy’ completely rebuilt his squad and which took time to come together and there were some early season disappointments. However the new squad with its balance of experience and youth got to grips with the league and two very good runs in the season saw us finish 5th and qualify for the play-offs. This saw us lose 3–2 after extra - time to Bromsgrove Sporting in front of a crowd of 1,850 in what was possibly the most exciting game of the season. Other highlights were a good FA Cup run which saw us beat Rushall Olympic of the South Premier League Central after a replay before losing to Alfreton Town of the National League North in another replay. We had a little earlier lost on penalties to another National League North Team, Leamington, in the Birmingham Senior Cup. Our last game of the season was against Boldmere St. Michaels in the Final of the Walsall Senior Cup where we lost 2 – 0.

For 2019-20 ‘Toothy’s’ philosophy for the season was to blend experience with the continuing development of U21 players. We had considerable success in the FA Cup with a win over Gresley Rovers, while Redditch and Kettering were beaten after replays. The dream ended with a 1 – 0 defeat to a very good Boston United team in the Third Qualifying Round. There was some success in the FA Trophy with wins over Yaxley and Stafford Rangers before a defeat at the hands of Hednesford Town. The League season started slowly, the cup runs taking a toll, but the results improved as the season progressed including six wins on the bounce in February and March and gave hope that the final weeks of the season might see a play-off place. However, it wasn’t to be and in March the season was terminated with the onset of the Covid pandemic.

Sadly the 2020-21 season was significantly compromised by the continuing COVID-19 pandemic which had a significant impact on all clubs; not just from a playing perspective but survival became a real issue for many across all levels of football.

The season didn’t start until September and was curtailed and then cancelled in November. We had a slow start losing the first games in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy, while only 7 games were possible in the league and we finished with a record of 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.

The 2023-2024 season began with Dave Stringer starting his second full season in charge but the opening 6 games all resulted in defeat leading Dave Stringer leaving by mutual consent. Cameron Stuart took the hot seat after leaving Coleshill Town and guided the Royals to a top 10 finish with the highlight being a 13 game unbeaten run taking the Royals close to the play offs at Christmas and including a defiant 3-1 loss to Aston Villa in the Birmingham Senior Cup. The 2024-2025 season saw the Royals maintain their consistent mid table finish in 12th place.

Cam begins the 2025/26 in a good state having secured most of the team for this campaign. Strong signings have been a pleasing sign of intent for this campaign particularly in midfield and up front. The club continues to move forward off the pitch as the bars continue their renovation with new shutters, and the board room received a much needed makeover!

James Wren - GK No stranger to the club having played here before. A Top keeper who talks well and should be a calming presence to the defence Tom Hurley - DEF Tom is a young fullback who has come up through the junior and youth teams. He burst into 1st team football in 2021 with an impressive debut against Halesowen at home at just the age of 16.

Jack Lynch - DEF Signed from Shepshed Dynamo, a left footed defender.

Luke McGinnell - DEF A no nonsense centre half who can also play Right back or in Midfield. Signed from Chasetown.

Aris Christophorou – DEF Aris is an experienced defender at full back but can cover the centre of defence.

Good in the air and plenty of pace, and a useful distributer of the ball. Has had plenty of experience with Rushall, Stourbridge Nuneaton and returns to us from Boldmere. Reads the game so well.

Sam Smith – DEF Sam is a young centre half who has come through the youth system at Solihull Moors, he has also played for Darlaston and Studley.

James Beresford - DEF Club captain and central defender Bez is a true defender who will put his body on the line. James is looking for a successful season and to help the team push on.

Remmie Birch - DEF A young versatile player can play fullback in a wide area or also midfield.

Ayo Lekuti - MID The former Bromsgrove Sporting and Northampton Town youth team player was outstanding against us in our last game of last season and we are excited to see him in the Royal Blue

Fraser Doyle - MID Signed from Coleshill Town, Fraser has played under the management for the last 2 seasons and compliment the already impressive midfield the club already has.

Jayden Campbell - MID Winger Jayden Campbell signs from Sporting Khalsa, the exciting wide man is a big signing for the club. Jayden is someone the management team have been after for a while and are buzzing to get him on board.

Sean Devlin – MID Sean impressed for Romulus last season despite an injury, with the Midfielder has an eye for a goal and will bring bags of energy to the side.

Ryan Shaw - MID Ryan Shaw returns from Bedworth United who is well know to the club after playing for the Royals previously amassing 49 appearances and 8 goals. The ex Boldmere and Chasetown midfielder is the first new signing ahead of the new season.

Nehemia Zazi - FWD Zazi returned to playing last season after a serious injury and is well known to the management team. A former Coleshill, Chasetown and Rushall Olympic player, he is a good signing for the club!

Isai Marselia - FWD The Aruba international striker is no stranger to the club having previously already played for the club scoring 25 goals in 53 appearances!
