With it being Boxing Day, I’d also like to wish everyone connected with St Neots Town FC a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for choosing to spend part of the festive period supporting the club — your time and backing are genuinely appreciated by everyone involved. Bedworth United may not be where they would like to be in the league table at this moment, but league position can be misleading at this level. They are a well-organised side and, on their day, are more than capable of matching anyone in this division. We know we’ll need to be at our best today, stay focused, and respect the challenge they bring. From our point of view, we reach today having played 21 league games and collected 21 points. It’s been a challenging period, particularly over the last nine matches, where results haven’t always reflected performances. In those games, we’ve lost seven matches by a single goal, and that’s been tough to take. In another season, those fine margins easily turn into draws or wins, and we’d be sitting on a much healthier points total. What that tells me, though, is that the group is competitive. We are not being blown away in games — we’re in them, we’re working hard, and we’re just missing that final moment or bit of luck that can change outcomes. The challenge now is to keep believing, keep learning, and keep turning those narrow defeats into positive results. Behind the scenes, we’ve continued to work hard to improve the squad. I’m pleased to welcome Stacey Freeman, who comes in, and Lewis Burgess, who adds quality and competition at left-back. Both players have settled in quickly and bring the attitude, experience and hunger we’re looking for as we move through the second half of the season. Recruitment remains a key focus for us. In recent weeks, we’ve put in eight seven-day approaches for potential players coming into the club, all from clubs in the top half of our league and even from Step 3. Finally, I want to say a massive thank you to our supporters. Your backing home and away has been outstanding, especially during a period where results haven’t always gone our way. The players feel that support, and it makes a real difference. Days like today are what football is all about, and we’ll continue to give everything we have for the badge and for you. Enjoy the game, enjoy the festive period, and let’s finish the year together on a positive note.

This is to be Bedworth’s eighth visit to the Town for a league fixture. In addition, our two sides have met three times in the FA Trophy – the last twice at Bedworth but on each occasion resulting in victory for our lads. Our league meetings began in the 2011/12 season when we were promoted from the UCL to the Central Division of the Southern League. Bedworth inflicted on us our first league defeat at Step Four winning 2-1 here at the Premier Plus Stadium with Lewis Webb scoring our consolation goal.However, revenge was gained seven months later after two weather postponements when we won the much-delayed return by three goals to nil with Stefan Moore, Ben Mackey and Rene Steer our marksmen.Since then, we have met no fewer than twelve times in league competition in addition to those Trophy meetings. I have summarised those meeting at the end of this introduction. Bedworth have been moved north to south several times in the last fifteen years and have played (like us) at Steps Four and Three. Currently bottom of the table their trailed our lads by four points when these notes were penned and at that stage, we still had our away trip to Anstey Nomads to be arranged for the third time. Since our earlier meetings Bedworth have installed a 4G pitch and as a result have put a stop to those postponed fixtures. At the time these notes were penned, Bedworth had won just four of their completed twenty-two league matches – all bar one at home. They have beaten Rugby Borough, Rugby Town and Sutton Coldfield Town at The Oval and they recorded their first away league victory of the season at Boldmere St Michaels on 13th December. In the FA Cup this season Bedworth began promisingly with a 2-1 victory over Brocton who play in the Capelli Sport Midland League Premier Division but fell at the second hurdle beaten 2-0 at home by Step Five UCL outfit Atherstone Town. In the FA Trophy they also began well beating Darlaston from the Division One West of the Northern League in the First Round 7-6 in a penalty shoot-out after a 0-0 draw. They then were beaten 3-0 at home by Anstey Nomads in the following round. Previous meeting of our teams: Between 2011/12 and 2020/21 – 14 league meetings – St Neots have won 5 drawn 3lost 5, with the 14th scheduled meeting postponed because of COVID. In those matches St Neots have scored 23 goals and conceded 18. Three FA Trophy meetings all won by St Neots (two away, one at home) St Neots 8 goals, Bedworth 3 goals. John Walker

CLUB WELFARE OFFICER GEMMA KEECH My name is Gemma Keech and I am the Club Welfare Officer (CWO) for St Neots Town Football Club. Each football club that offers youth and open aged football is required to have a Club Welfare Officer. I am responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of the children, young people and vulnerable adults who attend the club, whether that be within the Academy or players aged Under 18 in the First Team. My role is to be the first point of contact for all club members and parents / carers regarding concerns for the welfare of anyone within the club that fall within this group. St Neots Town Football Club have appointed me to this voluntary role because of my employment roles in Education and Children’s Social Care, and therefore my knowledge and experience in Safeguarding and Child Protection. My aim to be an approachable person for young people and their parents or carers, as well as club members, where issues or concerns may arise. These issues may range from worries about not fitting in or feeling left out, an individual dangerous incident or situation, other adult or young persons’ behaviour or more serious allegations against another person, volunteer, member or professional at the Club. MATCH REPORT Basford United (H) 13 December 2025 Pitching In Northern Premier League Midland Division ST NEOTS TOWN

Another narrow home defeat for St Neots – their sixth single goal reversal in their last eight matches has spelled out the need for an effective marksman. They introduced Neo Richard-Noel in a two-man attack and although he led the line well the goal supply that has produced just five goals in those last eight league outings is insufficient to compete effectively at this level. As well as Richard Noel joining the starting line-up there were two other team changes as Manager Cameron Mawer seeks to find a winning line-up. New signing Stacey Freeman came into the heart of the defence replacing the suspended Charlie Bowen, and Sam Willis returned after suspension, leaving Jessi Obeng and James Stainsby on the substitutes bench. Basford meantime, seeking a return to Step Three after their relegation last season, moved up to third in the league table behind Carlton Town and Belper Town. The first half was a cagey affair with neither side able to penetrate two well drilled defences. St Neots probably just shaded first half possession but lacked a finishing touch whilst Basford looked dangerous on the break. With little to note in the opening twenty minutes it was the home side who first went close as visiting goalkeeper Matthew Yates was forced into a full length save to deny Harvey Williams after neat play by Sam Willis. At the other end the speedy Jordan Hallam eluded two defenders but saw his effort clip the outside of a goalpost, and then a Williams cross saw a Neo Richard-Noel header pass just wide of its target. The visitors had to make an early change when Hallam limped off injured and just before the break after the home sides’ best move of the half, Willis shot wide after joining the St Neots attack. The visiting side came out looking far more determined after the break and just six minutes after the restart they had the ball in the net, but a linesman’s flag denied them. However, it did nothing to deter them because sixty seconds later in their next attack they did score what was to prove the winning goal. The attack came from a defensive clearance that split the home defence and the lively Louis Czerwak nipped between two defenders to score from close range. In their next attack Basford saw a shot from substitute Oliver Wilson blocked and from the rebound Covarne Leon fired wildly over the bar.

MATCH REPORT Basford United (H) 13 December 2025 St Neots regrouped with James Stainsby replacing the limping Richard-Noel and they hit back well but found the visiting defence tight and uncompromising.Harvey Williams cut in to shoot over the bar, and he then set up Rhys Thorpe, but his finishing was off target.As the second half wore on both sides introduced further substitutes, but this seemed to have little significant effect on play with the visitors now happy to sit on their narrow lead and play the ball around with little threat to the St Neots defence. In a break against the run of play substitute Wilson scythed through the home defence but shot wide and the match ended with St Neots becoming increasingly frustrated at their inability to breach the visiting defence.

After eight league games without a win St Neots returned to winning ways away from home at the expense of in-form Belper Town. on their longest away league trip of the season. The Derbyshire side currently second in the league table had set up an unbeaten seven matches run and were looking to repeat their victory recorded at St Neots in the opening league match of the season. However, the reshuffled St Neots line-up with Neo Richard-Noel leading the attack delivered an unexpected but well-deserved victory with a gutsy performance. The changes seemed to inspire the visitors, and they took the game to their high-flying hosts from the first whistle. Charlie Bowen returned for St Neots after suspension and Lewis Burgess and Anthony Agemoh-Davies both after injury returned to the starting line-up with Andrian Ankrah and Magloire Muyembe on the bench and recent signing Stacey Freeman unavailable. The result lifted St Neots up a couple of places in the league table to eighteenth – three points clear of the relegation zone. The first half was an end-to-end extravaganza of attacking football with underdogs St Neots leading the way. In the first minute Neo Richard-Noel won a header in the home penalty area, but Kieran Preston saved well, and in the hosts first attack three minutes later they had the ball in the net, but an offside flag ruled out their effort. Lewis Austin then brought a good save from James Goff as the end-to-end activity continued but it was St Neots who were in the ascendancy as Rhys Thorpe playing a wide role on the left saw a rising shot deflected for a corner. After 17 minutes Liam Moran volleyed over the bar for the hosts but sixty seconds later St Neots took the lead when from a Harvey Williams cross Neo Richard-Noel put St Neots in front. In a counterattack Jacob Stratton shot over the bar after beating his marker and then Harvey Henderson headed over from a Kieran Barnes corner. As the half drew to a close the lively Williams moved inside his marker to fire over the bar whilst at the other end Goff saved comfortably from Moran. After half rime the visitors introduced substitute Magloire Muyembe for the limping Eniola Agemoh-Davies with the versatile Sam Willis slotting in at full back and within sixty seconds the substitute had picked up a yellow card with a first mistimed challenge! St Neots maintained their attacking approach and Harvey Williams came inside his marker to bring a save from Preston and then Richard- Noel shot wide.

MATCH REPORT Belper Town (A) 20 December 2025 Then on the hour St Neots won a free kick and in a crowded penalty area Harvey Henderson was first to the ball to net from close range for his first St Neots goal. The home side responded by introducing two substitutes to switch to a more attacking approach with the visiting defence coming under some pressure. Belper were rewarded thirteen minutes from time when the lively Kevin Bastos reduced the arrears. However, the St Neots defence held out in the face of an onslaught and the home side saw one player booked and second sent off after the final whistle as they vented their frustration on the Referee. Two incidents in this match seemed to contribute to a result in St Neots favor in their debut in this season’s FA Trophy. In virtually the final action of the first half they were awarded a controversial penalty which saw them claw back to level terms at the break and then the issue of a red card to a home defender midway through the second half seemed to break the spirit of the hosts. Twice behind St Neots showed real character to pull back before claiming a late winner just eight minutes from time. Without injured skipper Tom Ward with Tom Wood replacing him in defense, St Neots fielded an entirely changed eleven from the side that had beaten Bedworth in the corresponding round of this competition last season at the Premier Plus Stadium. Bedworth are members of the Southern section of the Northern Premier League, and it is a venue that St Neots seem to relish because this was their fourth victory on the ground in as many visits. Bedworth have a 3G surface and it produced some swift flowing football from both sides with St Neots running our worthy winners as they picked up the £2,700 prize fund. It was Bedworth who made the better start, forging into the lead with a goal after just 55 seconds in the first real action of the match. Goalkeeper Alex Archer came out towards the edge of his penalty area to challenge for a high cross but seemed to misjudge the flight of the ball only managing to knock it down to Justin Marsden who was left with the simple task of sliding the ball into the unguarded net. The home side then bombarded the St Neots goal with a series of long ball attacks testing the nerve of the goalkeeper who responded by making a smart save from Lee Moore. Luke Rowe sent a free kick over the bar but gradually St Neots regained their poise and acting skipper Micky Hyem won a free kick taken by Declan Rogers who found the head of Taylor Parr, but former Coventry City defender Iyseden Christie cleared off the line. After 13 minutes the scores were levelled when from a Miles Smith cross James Hall showed fine control to send a shot across the keeper into the far corner of the net. Jordan Archer then missed a great chance to restore the lead when unmarked at the far post, but his free header was too high. Eight minutes before the break Bedworth went in front again when Parr seemed to mistime his challenge and the ball ran loose for Daniel Creaney to rap a low shot under the diving body of Archer. It looked like a half time lead for the hosts but three minutes into time added Sam Mulready was impeded in the penalty area by Christie and from the resultant spot kick James Hall levelled the scores with his ninth goal of the campaign.

BLAST FROM THE PAST Oct 29th 2016 - Bedworth Utd (A) Jordan Archer had an early second half chance to score for Bedworth from a long throw by Luke Rowe but once again his effort was off target. The match seemed to go off the boil with lots of midfield exchanges leading to few clear chances although Peter Clark did bring a good save from James Martin after good work by Declan Rogers. After 69 minutes a long cross field pass from Smith found Mulready wide right and as he attempted to go past Richard Bryan the defender appeared to kick him to earn a straight red card. For a while Bedworth seemed to concentrate on defense unable to make any headway against a St Neots defense that was growing in confidence. With just eight minutes left a Hyem shot following a Rogers free kick was blocked by a defender and the ball fell at the feet of Taylor Parr who claimed his first cup goal for St Neots. Both Clark and James Hall then saw shots blocked with Bedworth unable to offer any real chance of a late levelling goal and a replay. Footnote: St Neots Reserves made it a Cup double on the day by defeating neighbor’s Eynesbury Rovers Reserves in the second round of the Hunts Intermediate Cup. They now travel to AFC Stanground Sports in the quarter-final.

The process is about bringing men together who have been in similar situations, to help each other on a peer to peer basis, sharing how they have dealt with various situations through lived experiences. No matter how big or small your problem feels, we are here to support each other. The 5 questions that are asked each week are designed not only to encourage men to talk, but to start to focus on the positives and on strategies to keep moving forward. There is no pressure to answer any of the questions and it is not uncommon for men to just listen for the first few sessions. The clubs all run on the same format and adhere to the same guidelines. A key principle of ANDYSMANCLUB is anything that is said in the club, stayswithinthe club.

Seasons Past - With John Walker This Edition Focuses on Season 1974/75

ST NEOTS TOWN FC 1974/75 SEASON This is the another in a series highlighting one of our final seasons at Shortsands to depict both the highs and the lows in the recent proud history of the Club. This was our second season back in the United Counties League having returned from a largely unsuccessful spell in the Eastern Counties League. The ultimate disappointment of a unimpressive league campaign came in the final away match when we were beaten 4-1 away from home at Leighton Town – a side that had failed to win any of their completed 35 league matches until that point and were already doomed to finishing bottom of the table. We also surrendered our hold on the two trophies won the previous season – beaten by Yaxley in a Senior Cup replayed Final and in the Hinchingbrooke Cup Final by lower graded Sandy Albion. All in all, not an impressive or memorable season. League: Final League position: League playing record:

Our four home league defeats came at the hands of sides who were to finish in the top five in the league table. At home we defended well conceding only twelve goals in eighteen matches. We played in six Cup competitions including the East Anglian Cup for the final time. Seventeen cup matches in a season (including replays) was something of a record. We did not run a Reserve side. The joint top goal scorers were Barry Oakley and joint player/manager Neil Rawlings with 11 goals each. The Joint Player/Managers were Roger Currington and Neil Rawlings who played 39 and 45 times respectively out of 52 league and cup matches (one match counted as both Hinchingbrooke Cup and league by mutual agreement).

Opponent Spotlight BEDWORTH UNITED

The first Bedworth Town football club was formed in 1895 when several matches were played against other local teams. They became founder members of the Nuneaton and District League in 1898, but by 1900 the club had disbanded. Finishing runners up in the Second Division of the Coventry and North Warwickshire League in the 1904-05 season, the ECS changed their name to Bedworth Town on winning promotion and stayed in existence until the early 1920s. During that time, the town fielded a fine player in Jack 'Sandy' Sheldon who later played for Manchester United, Liverpool and Luton Town. A third club came on the scene in 1925, when Collycroft United, formed in 1916, became the third team to name themselves Bedworth Town. This was the most successful of the pre-war clubs, they were members of the Coventry and North Warwickshire League and spent one season in 1936-37 in the Central Amateur League. The last club to become Bedworth Town was formed in 1947, and as a semiprofessional club, secured membership of the Birmingham Combination and soon hit the headlines. They won the championship in successive seasons - 1948-49 and 1949-50 seasons - and in the 1949-50 season were also defeated in the final of the Birmingham Senior Cup. For season 1954-55, Bedworth joined the Birmingham League and they qualified for the Northern Section for the league’s inaugural First Division. The Birmingham League was re-named the West Midlands League in 1962, but lack of success and problems off the field saw Bedworth Town change their name to Bedworth United in 1968. In 1972 they obtained membership for the Southern League Division One North. In their first season they finished bottom, but this was only to be a setback as they made rapid strides into the Premier Division when the league was re-formed in 1982. In the Premier Division, they finished 5th in 1982-83 season, and were stable in this league until a poor run saw them relegated at the end of the 1988-89 season. On February 23rd 1982, the non-league world was staggered when a crowd of 5,172 then a record for the Southern League in its new form - turned up at their Oval ground to watch them beat Nuneaton Borough 1-0 to go top of the league. After becoming Bedworth United, they won the Birmingham Senior Cup on three occasions in the 1980s and were beaten finalists to West Bromwich Albion in the 1987-88 season. Bedworth United were relegated to the Southern League Midland Division in 1988-89 season until the appointment of St Lucia-born Brendan Phillips as manager in 1990 launched a revival in the clubʼs fortunes.

Opponent Spotlight BEDWORTH UNITED

From 1990 to 1997, the Greenbacks pushed for promotion back to the Southern League’s top flight and enjoyed a top six finish in four of the next five seasons. Phillips was tempted to move to Stafford Rangers during the 1992-93 season but progress was continued under the helm of former Notts County midfielder Dean Thomas. Unfortunately, achieving the heady heights of a third place finish in the 1995-96 season, the club overstretched itself financially - and they faced possible closure until a group of die-hards acted to keep the club alive. After that, the Greenbacks occupied a bottom half finish for 14 seasons until the appointment In May, 2011, of a bright, forward-thinking management team led by Steve Farmer, assistant Adam Cooper, and the experienced Ian Roper on the field. In his first season, Farmer - at 31 the youngest manager in the club’s history - led them to their first promotion in their 65-year semi-professional history. After finishing in a highly-creditable third place, they won promotion after beating Uxbridge 2-1 in a semi-final play-off, and defeating Beaconsfield SYCOB 3-1 in the final. Sadly, the fledgling manager showed his inexperience by changing his promotion-winning team from the start and it culminated in the club lasting just one season back in the Southern League Premier Division as they finished in 21st place and went down on goal difference 2013-14 The Greenbacks played in the Evo Stick Northern League Division One South. Andrew Fuller took over as Manager, however he resigned after a few weeks and was replaced by Nick Hawkins who unfortunately was unable to improve the results. He was then replaced by our current Manager, Stuart Storer along with Andy Penny as his assistant. Both came from Hinckley United. After a difficult start they produced a settled squad and staved off relegation at the end of the season. 2014-15 The Greenbacks returned to the Southern Football League. Stuart Storer remained as manager and in his first full season in charge the club once again won promotion after a 2-0 win over Barton Rovers in the play-off final. This was after finishing 4th after the league programme had been finished. This was the clubs first season on its new artificial grass pitch. 2015-16 The club played once again in the Southern Football League Premier Division. The season started slowly and a number of changes to playing staff made up until Christmas. The club pushed to avoid relegation but ultimately were unsuccessful, although all agree this was due to the start of the season and not the group of players at the club at the end. We have now returned to the Northern Premier League Division 1 South

Opponent Spotlight BEDWORTH UNITED

The 2016-17 season saw the club play once again in the Northern Premier League Division 1 South. A season that saw a number of injury problems and changes in playing staff saw a mid-table finish. The club did have a successful run in the FA Cup, eventually losing out to National League side Curzon Ashton. 2017/2018 Saw the team struggle in the league early on with injuries and Stuart Storer was unable to field the same team for 2 games in a row. Come Christmas though with the team becoming more settled results started to come and the Greenbacks push saw them finish 4th in the league and make the playoffs where they met Chasetown in the semi final running out 2-1 winners to book a place against Stamford in the final. Bedworth eventually won 2-1 after extra time after conceding 7 minutes into injury time. With the restructuring of the Leagues Bedworth were now promoted into the Evo Stik Southern premier league central. Unfortunately this foray into step 3 of the Non League ladder was short lived and the team were relegated back to step 4 at the end of the 2018/19 season. In the Season that never was due to Covid-19 The Greenbacks were getting a head of steam up and were looking like they might have made the play offs but with the season being brought to a premature halt Bedworth would start the 2020-21 season in step 4 again. Bedworth started well in the 2020-21 season only suffering defeat in the games they played and were sitting second in the league when again due to Covid the season was curtailed. After a poor start to the 2021/22 season a good run in December and January saw the Greenbacks come within touching distance of the playoffs but a poor ending to the season saw them finish 12th. The 2022/23 was on reflection an extremely poor season for the club. Only guaranteeing avoiding the relegation playoffs with a game to spare after high hopes before the season of mounting a challenge at the other end of the table. Last season started badly for the club with a 6-3 home defeat t Heanor Town in the FA cup but Bedworth reacted well, winning 5 from the first 7 league games. However that work was undone by a run of just 2 wins from the next 15 before the end of 2023. The club did finish the season strongly seeing The Greenbacks finish in 9th place.

Player Profiles Bedworth United

Andrew Penny – Joint First Team Manager Product of the Birmingham City Academy. Former player of Torquay, Solihull, Hinckley Untied. Former Assistant Manager of Hinckley United. Was appointed as joint manager in June 2025. Jamie Lenton – Joint First Team Manager UEFA A Licensed. Product of Coventry City Academy. Previous playing career – VS Rugby, Bedworth United, Hinckley United, Nuneaton Borough & Leamington. Current Manager of Bedworth United Academy. Was appointed as joint manager in June 2025. Will Highland - Having made over 380 appearances for Hinckley LRFC, keeping an impressive 132 clean sheets over a 10 year period, the 28 year old goalkeeper achieved 3 promotions, a league cup win and a play off final in the 23/24 season, unfortunately losing on penalties to Harborough Town. Highland went on to play for Step 3 outfit Barwell in the 24/25 season, as well as Aylestone Park FC. Will is a vastly experienced goalkeeper at Step 4 and his stats at Hinckley LRFC speak volumes for the type of keeper he is. It’s such an important position for me, with the style of football we’re looking to implement in building from the back, and having someone of Wills ability will be crucial to that. His handling and distribution are excellent. We’re really pleased to have secured Will going into the new season.

Ben Richards - Ben is a defender with huge physical presence, he is a dominating, left-footed centre back who likes the physical side of the game but can play with the ball and is technically very capable for a big man. His physical frame make him impactful at both ends of the pitch and he is a leader, who takes responsibility on and demands high standards. Having several years experience at this level, Ben was recently with Kidlington FC for 18 months. It was here that he ended the 23/24 season has the clubs top goalscorer, ‘supporters player of the season’ and was nominated for the leagues team of the season, he left the club midway through 24/25 as captain to end the season at Grantham Town. Sam Muggleton - Muggleton started his footballing journey at Gillingham, making his league debut at 17. He went on to play at Barnet, where he won the conference premier league progressing to league 2. After spending a year in league 2, Eastleigh paid an undisclosed fee for the defender. Following this, Muggleton spent a season at York City before moves to Boston Utd and Chesterfield.

Player Profiles Bedworth United

Joe Anthony - Joe played in Coventry City’s Academy set-up before spending two years at Kidderminster Harriers. Manager Jamie Lenton is delighted to have secured the services of the tough tackling defender and is expecting his transition into Step 4 football to be a smooth one. Joe can play anywhere across the back 4, he’s a strong defender and very good technically. Joe is 22, and another local lad we’ve recruited. Callum Morris - Callum broke his way into the 1st team last season, having returned to us after a period away gaining valuable experience at Step 5. Callum came through our Academy education programme, progressing through the u18s and u21s. He can play anywhere down the left side and we see him as the long term successor to club legend Luke Rowe. He ticks all the boxes being a young, local, hungry footballer and we’re excited to see him in a greenbacks shirt again this season. Jamie Ashmore - Ashmore brings a wealth of experience to the greenbacks having previously played for the club, when we won the play offs back in 2015-16. Ashmore is pleased to be back playing at the club where he won the play offs as a teenager. ‘I have come back to the club to win, and try my best to push for promotion. Knowing Lents and Penny, their ambitious and they want to win. I have been promoted with the club once before, and I’d love to be able to do it again! Elliot Parrott - Came through the Bedworth United Junior System. Been with the senior team for 9 years, 400+ appearances. Winner of Manager’s Player and Supporter’s Player Award at the end of the 2022/23 season. Ashley Sammons - Player/Coach Sammons started his career at Birmingham City at the age of 11, signing his first professional deal at 17 and making his 1st team debut the same season. During his time at Blues he also represented England at U17’s, U18’s, U19’s. After leaving Birmingham City at the age of 22, he went on to have spells at Walsall, Chesterfield and Hereford United before moving into non league. His non league career has seen him play for Worcester, Redditch, Corby, Hednesford, Solihull Moors, Rushall, Halesowen. Mackenzie Lamb - Spent youth ages 8-16 at West Bromwich Albion, before signing a 2 year scholarship. After this Mackenzie signed a 2 year professional contract at Peterborough United. Mackenzie has had Loan spells at Alverchurch, Stratford Town and Evesham United followed with Mackenzie being part of the Evesham United play off winning team last season.

Player Profiles Bedworth United

George Dunkley - George is another young, exciting player who we’re absolutely delighted to secure for the new season. On his day there’s no better winger at our level. He’s quick, direct, aggressive and works hard for the team. We saw glimpses of Georges pace, power and directness last season, and there’s so much more to come from him. We’re looking forward to working with George again and we’re excited to see his impact this season. Dunkley’s football background includes Walsall Academy followed by spells at Bedworth Utd U21s and Dubai, where he played for two years, for Arabian Falcons, winning the UAE 3rd division. Whilst in Dubai, his opponents also included the Canada, China and Vietnam national team and Zenit St Petersburg. Charlie Gordon - Charlie has developed through the junior section at Copsewood and has spent the last 3 seasons in the 1st team playing at Step 6. Having captained the team last season, he scored an impressive 15 goals and won the Coventry Evening Telegraph Challenge Cup. He’s 21 years old, fit, strong and competitive, and possesses a great left foot. He can play anywhere across the midfield and as he proved last season, he’s got a real eye for goal, scoring a very impressive 15 goals. Harvey Westwood - He came through our Academy and youth set up, as well as featuring in our double winning u21s team 2 seasons ago. Harvey can play in a number of positions across the front line, as well as in midfield, and he will give us several options in attack. Harvey is a very intelligent footballer, with the ability to provide goals and assists, and considering he’s still only 19, he’s got so much potential. Maxwell Ngbeken-Itota - Maxwell joined us late on last season and made an immediate impact in the centre of midfield with his energy levels and ability to cover the ground both in and out of possession. He typifies the type of player the joint mangaers want in our Bedworth United team. Callum Martin - Cal spent two years as a scholar at Coventry City before spells at Hinckley AFC, Daventry Town, and then Coventry Sphinx, where he was a key player in winning Step 5 Louis Monaghan - The striker includes previous clubs as Sutton Coldfield, Redditch and Alvechurch, where a knee injury meant taking a year out. The former Racing Club Warwick striker joined late last season and was instrumental in the relegation battle which kept United up. His work rate, physicality, first touch and movement are excellent.

Connor Mooney - Left footed midfielder/forward who come through the academy system at Aston Villa before progressing to have spells at Stratford Town, Worcester City and Highgate Utd where he made over 200 appearances. Last season Mooney played for Racing Club Warwick and has now made the switch to the Oval
