Child Care Assistant

Teaching Assistant

Get the skills you need to prepare for a variety of careers with children. Learn techniques to effectively supervise children in a short period of time while focusing on the emotional, physical and social needs of children and their environments. You will also learn methods to assess development and implement a meaningful curriculum.

This certificate provides you with the foundation to work as a teaching assistant in public and private schools. Through this program, you gain the skills and knowledge to work in the classroom and provide direct instructional support to students under the supervision of a licensed teacher.

Child Development Our child development certificate is designed for students who wish to pursue concentrated study in the area of child development to gain practical experience working with young children.
