Candidates leverage their prior educational and professional accomplishments to broaden their intellectual horizons, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Saint Peter’s University offers the following degree programs:

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) Dual MBA/MSA Degrees Saint Peter’s offers courses in a flexible 11-week Trimester schedule (Fall/Winter/Spring and Summer), meeting once a week in the evening in a traditional classroom format. Many courses are also available in hybrid and online formats to accommodate the needs of working adults. This allows students to accelerate the completion of their degree: typically 18–24 months for the MBA and 12–15 months for the MSA. Courses are available at the Jersey City and Meadowlands Campuses and also at corporate partners in downtown Jersey City and Newark.

Master of Business Administration The Master of Business Administration is a part-time 48-credit program providing individuals the tools and knowledge needed to advance their careers.

Concentrations in multiple disciplines permit candidates to focus on a specific area to achieve depth of knowledge. Individuals with prior coursework in relevant areas (such as business, accounting, finance and economics) that have demonstrated academic success may complete the program in fewer credits.

The program is comprised of four sections: core courses, concentration courses, elective courses, and a capstone course. Examples of core coursework include: Business Ethics Managerial Economics Management and Human Behavior

Master of Science in Accountancy The Master of Science in Accountancy is a 30-credit program providing individuals with the expertise needed to keep pace with the changes in the practice of accounting. A unique feature of the program is its focus on risk management and compliance issues, which prepares individuals for the growing complexities of the corporate world.

The Master of Science in Accountancy serves as a stand-alone professional services credential and provides 30 credit hours toward the CPA requirements. Note: Most states require a minimum of 120-150 credits to sit for the CPA exam. Examples of coursework include: Forensic Accounting and Internal Auditing Internal Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Financial Accounting and Reporting
