GRANDDAUGHTERS CLUB 2021-2022

The Granddaughters Club held its 2021-2022 inductions of new members Nov� 3, 2021, in a ceremony in the Chapel attended by family members and friends� A reception followed in the Long Student Center in Lower Smedes (photos on page 27)� Members of the Granddaughters Club are direct descendants of Saint Mary’s alumnae� Founded in 1909 by alumna and teacher Kate McKimmon, the Granddaughters Club is the oldest existing club on campus� GDC members work with the Alumnae Office on numerous projects and events each year including the Founders’ Day Chapel, the luminaries and special memorial candles at the Lighting O’ the Grove, Reunion Weekend, Spring Fling, and more�
