Congratulations, Class of 2017! 176 young women from the Class of 2017 enthusiastically accepted their diplomas at commencement on Tuesday. Dressed in white with beautiful bouquets of red roses in hand, the graduates began the memorable night by processing down Rocky River Drive from Saint Joseph Academy to Our Lady of Angels Church in the annual "Walk of the Roses." Students were led by President Mrs. Mary Ann Corrigan-Davis '71 and the Commencement speaker Dr. Cheryl Hagan O'Malley '77, Vice President of Medical-Surgical Service, University Hospitals Case Medical Center. During her speech, Dr. O'Malley encouraged students to be humble, kind and to view each day as a gift. Valedictorian was Liz Renner and the Salutatorian was Maggie Seikel. Here is a Facebook album of the evening's events.

Accomplishments: Liz is the Class of 2017 Valedictorian and a National Merit Commended Scholar. "When I found out that I was Valedictorian, I was surprised because I knew that my class had many great students who were in the running for Valedictorian. I was also excited because it was something that I had wanted to achieve since I began high school," shared Liz. Activities & Interests: In addition to earning the highest grade point average in the Class of 2017, Liz has been involved with the Robotics Clubs at Saint Joseph Academy and St. Edward High School, Book Club and Cross Country.
