Welcome Class of 2020!
The Class of 2020 entered Saint Joseph Academy (SJA) yesterday. Today, they celebrated all-school mass and received a warm welcome. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors lined the walkway leading to the front steps of the Academy, clapping and cheering as the Freshmen and five transfer students received a single yellow rose from Principal Jeff Sutliff and President Mary Ann Corrigan-Davis '71. The freshmen then gathered together on the front steps of the Academy for a group picture. Some fun facts about the Class of 2020: Enrollment is 206 students Students live in 43 zip codes They live as far west as LaGrange, as far east as Lyndhurst and as far south as Medina and Litchfield They came to SJA from 65 different schools There are four international students Megan is the most common first name Smith is the most common last name Click here to see the rest of the photos from the day.
All-Sports Mass & Brunch Rescheduled for Sunday, August 28 The date for the annual Saint Joseph Academy (SJA) Athletic Boosters All-Sports Mass and brunch has been moved to Sunday, August 28. Celebrate the beginning of the year with the SJA Athletics Community. Mass will begin at 9 a.m., presided by Father Paul Shelton S.J. from Saint Ignatius High School in the Academy Center. Brunch will follow in the dining hall. All SJA student-athletes, coaches, families and friends are encouraged to attend. Questions? Email Athletic Director John Manuszak.
