We establish our scholarship on both faith and reason to provide our students with a rigorous academic program. The support provided by our faculty and staff propel our students to reach their highest learning potential. Our students learn to be life-long learners dedicated to discovering new truth.

We are committed to Catholic social justice teaching. We require our students to serve others with a minimum of 80 community service hours. We provide our students with on and off campus opportunities to serve others in our communities through charitable acts, volunteer work and service days.

VIKINGS Saint John’s Catholic Prep offers an inclusive Athletic Program that teaches students selfdiscipline and control, the value of teamwork and mutual respect, and an appreciation of personal worth and accomplishments. The Vikings play in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) and Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM). Catholic Prep has a long history of championship teams, most recently Football, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Boys’ Lacrosse, Girls’ Soccer, and Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball.
