ROW HOUSING
PROJECT : ACADEMIC 4TH SEMESTER, 2022.

Rowhouses, also known as townhouses, are a popular type of residential housing arrangement that combines the benefits of individual homeownership with a sense of community living. Open floor plans are a hallmark of modern row houses, promoting seamless flow between living spaces and fostering a sense of spaciousness. Large windows and skylights invite abundant natural light indoors, creating bright and airy environments conducive to modern living. Additionally, eco-friendly features such as solar panels, energy-efficient appliances, and sustainable building materials are often integrated into the design, reflecting a commitment to environmental sustainability and green living practices.
The projects will also explore proposals in a manner where vernacular spaces such as a front yard, a verandah, a family room, a threshold and native spatial conditions will assist in establishing 4 important relationships:
• Transitions and visual connections between rooms in a housing unit
• The housing unit’s relationship to another unit or a corridor
• The notion of inside to outside, the visual connections of rooms to the outside.
Drawing and model iterations of the design at both the unit level and building level at varied scales. will bring forth well rounded proposals.
The height of the room, the width of a lobby, the size of an opening and its positioning can all change the manner in which we experience space. Spaces in the west revolve around domestic functions such as the hearth, reading nooks, tea rooms, piano rooms and artist studios, which can be contextually irrelevant in our context on occasion.
• Building’s response to the street or its immediate surroundings to create a permeable neighbourhood.
• Domestic activities within a house can be a premise for designing unique spatial conditions, curating light quality and moods required.The most important of these not so tangible elements is proportions.
The plan, section and facade relates at both macro and micro level to define the project.

THE COMPETITION WORK
PROJECT : COMPETITION WORK 7TH SEMESTER, 2023.
TYPOLOGY : RECREATIONAL SPACE
LOCATION : SRINAGAR COLONY, HYDERABAD.

A space curated for all those chachas and chachis to gupushup, for all the golomolus who take rest while they play, to all those dadajis who sit for hours with their friends and chitchat, this space is all for them, made with all reused materials and with a little bit of our love.
Swa-jagaah is a seating area with shelter catered for all the age groups ,for them to able to indulge into the serenity of the space with a shelter madefrom reused materials and added style and color to it. This space is made on one of the terrains in the space with a complete view of the site and the best breezy corner in the site. Can't wait for you guys to be able to sit on our own Swa-jagah and enjoy the space.
LAND USE MAP
The neighborhood is majorly having the residential buildings. A lake called as pedha cheruvu is in the proximity. The area is well connected w.r.t amenities. The mixed use and commercial buildings are observed near to the arterial road.
ACCESSIBILITY MAP
Site lies close to main town road with easy access to town center and regional road network. Bus services on roads to north east of the site. Site is 10min walk from bus stop and 1km away from habsiguda metro station. A network of footpaths run along or up to the site boundary. Site surrounding area is barrier to pedestrians from the neighborhood.

A convention center is a large building that is designed to hold a convention, where individuals and groups gather to promote and share common interests.
A convention center typically offers sufficient floor area to accommodate several thousand attendees. Very large venues, suitable for major trade shows, are sometimes known as exhibition halls.
The requirement is to design international level Convention Center with primary and secondary activities as mention:

ENTERING includes Information Desk, Main Lobby, Ticketing Booth, Security checkpoint.
ASSEMBLYING includes Assembly Hall, Function Hall, and Conference Room.
EXHIBITING includes Pre-function Lobby, Function hall, Storage area.
PERFORMING includes Stage, Backstage, and Storage.
Secondary Activity
COOKING includes Kitchen, Loading Dock, Café, and Banquet Hall.
WORKING includes Staff, Securing, and Maintenance.
PARKING includes Outdoor parking, Reserved parking, Loading, Indoor parking.

This small house is planned on a 1 metre module. A simple postconstruction is carried through, except for a more loosely connected garage. The plan is developed around a core illuminated by skylights. The detailing offers many new ideas, such as frameless doors and sliding windows meeting in the corner. The scale unites the house sensitively with the site.

HOUSING PROJECT
STANDARDS OF A LIVING COMMUNITY
PROJECT : ACADEMIC 8TH SEMESTER, 2024.
TYPOLOGY : MIXED USE OF BOTH RESINDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL

Mixed use is a type of urban development, urban design, urban planning and/or a zoning classification that blends multiple uses, such as residential, commercial, cultural, institutional, or entertainment, into one space, where those functions are to some degree physically and functionally integrated, and that provides pedestrian connections. Mixed-use development may be applied to a single building, a block or neighborhood, or in zoning policy across an entire city or other administrative unit. A mixed-use development may be a new construction, reuse of an existing building or brownfield site, or a combination.
SITE PLAN
The projects consists of both residential & commercial spaces with respective 60% & 40% of land use, ground cover (includes builtup spaces & open areas in both)in the site level. which leads to development of the community and also includes club house, parks, playgrounds, aminities, & services.

COMMERCIAL AREA
The project is based on the income group catogery of 4 different income groups and their living standards. with proper green spaces around the site. number of units owned by the 4 different groups : EWS - 72 units; LIG - 176 units ; MIG - 292 units HIG - 198 units including 21 - VILLA units.
The commercial area which is on the sports academy was interlinked with the various public users. (either residencies nor general users)
The academy consists of various sports training aspets including different sports grounds, traineers and also to get accommodate for a period of time.
