What skill level does my child have to be to participate? Sahalee Ravens junior programming has a range of options for all youth ages 6-18. Whether your Ravens are beginners or long-term competitors, all skill levels are welcome! (Please see camp information for age and skill-specific details)
Who are the instructors? The Sahalee Golf Professional Staff is trained and ready to give the Sahalee Ravens a top notch golf education while keeping activities engaging. All of our golf professionals will have a hand in the Ravens programming.
Are the camps just on the driving range?
Our Sahalee Ravens camps and activities have a mix of practice and on-course play to facilitate both learning and fun! Our next page describes our different Sahalee Ravens programs in detail to find the right fit for you!
Will the camps only involve golf?
While our camps are aimed to make our Sahalee Ravens better golfers with great etiquette, we also aim to stay active with aerobic activities and fun games to increase motor skills. We are developing well-rounded athletes!
2022 Schedule & Details Drive, Chip & Putt Clinic Series and Competition: March 6 - April 3 Ages 7-15, all skill levels welcome. ($200) This series entails a series of three clinics followed by a mock competition & full competition to teach our Ravens about how to compete in a low stress environment. Please note, this is not an official qualifier for the national Drive, Chip & Putt contest.
PGA Junior League: April 10 - June 12 Ages 7-13, all skill levels welcome. ($425) This series of practice sessions and on-course competitions is an opportunity for our youth to compete with peers from neighboring clubs.
Sahalee Ravens Development Clinics: April 20 - August 31 Ages 7-18, all skill levels welcome. (Register monthly, $100 per month) This season-long series of instructional sessions is a great way to keep our Ravens practicing their skills all season long. (Wednesday Evenings)
Junior Demo Day Extravaganza: TBD All ages and skill levels welcome! Join us for club fitting, practice games, and tons of fun! This carnival-like event will help fit your Raven into great equipment, socialize with friends, and compete in fun games.
Practice with the Pro: June 2 - August 25 Ages 7-18, all skill levels welcome. ($5 per session) Are your kids looking for someone to practice with? Come join our AITs! (Thursday Evenings)
Parent-Child Play Day: June 18 Families of all ages welcome! (Price TBD) Flighted by age, this 9 and 18 hole play day is an opportunity for families to enjoy a special round of golf together. There will be chances to win prizes & refreshments to follow play.
All-Level Sahalee Ravens Junior Golf Camp: June 28-30 Ages 6-13, all skill levels welcome. ($300) This station-based golf instruction camp is a fun way for Ravens to make friends and improve skills!
All-Level Sahalee Ravens All-Sport Camp: July 12 - 14 Ages 6-13, all skill levels welcome. ($300) All-sport camp is a chance for our Ravens to be active with more than just golf. Golf instruction will be given along with sports such as basketball, soccer & other aerobic activities to teach basic motor skills and keep our athletes moving!
Advanced Sahalee Ravens Junior Golf Camp: August 9 - 11 Ages 12-17, competitive skill level recommended. ($300) Much like our all-level camp, this program is designed to advance the skills of our high-level Ravens. Instructors will facilitate stations to improve skills as well as on-course instruction.
Junior Club Championship: August 20 Ages 7-18, all skill levels welcome. ($60) You could be a Raven Champion! This on-course competition is split into age divisions for optimal levels of play.
