Hosting Golf's Greatest Sahalee was first envisioned in 1965 when our Founders decided that the greater Seattle area was in need of another championship golf course. The intention of our Founders was later achieved and celebrated.

Children are on the membership until they turn 25.

The Initiation fee and subsequent annual fees are applicable towards the initiation fee required.

Social Membership Access to : Fitness Center Social Events Dining Facilities Wine Club Complimentary Rental for Sahalee and Founder’s Room Member Charging Privileges The Member’s spouse and children (until age 25) are able to use the clubhouse amenities and participate in social and dining events.

Social members are also able to play one round of golf each month after 1pm in the Summer or 11am in the Winter on either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday (except holidays) for the rate of $95. Social Members may bring their spouse or one (1) guest for a guest green fee on the day of play per month. Social Members may also play one round of golf each month as the guest of a regular member for the social fee rate. Social Members have access to practice facilities on day of play only, but are not eligible for range plans. $ 750 Initiation Fee $ 175 Application Fee Monthly Dues/Fees $ 187 Dues

Frequently Asked Questions How do tee times work at Sahalee?

We operate a 5 day advance tee time system and use Foretees application.

My spouse/partner doesn’t play golf.

Are they still considered a member?

Yes, the membership is extended to spouses/partners and children living with you and they can experience all the membership has to offer. There is an option to add “spousal dues” to a regular golfing and a junior executive membership for $262.00 which allows the spouse to play unlimited golf. If a spouse doesn’t want to play unlimited golf, then each time they play it will be $95.00 (family guest rate) and there is no maximum number of rounds they are allowed. For juniors living with you (up to 17 years of age) there are no extra dues charges.

Is the range plan available to social members?

The range plan is only available to Regular Golfing members and Junior Executive Members. Social members are allowed to use the range on the day(s) they have chosen to play golf.

What is required to apply to Sahalee?

An applicant must provide three letters of recommendation (Regular) 2 letters (Junior) 1 letter (Social) with the application along with a check for initiation fee, first months dues and application fee of $175. Letters of recommendation preferably should come from Sahalee members or personal acquaintances, but if the applicant is a current or former member of a private club, one of the recommendations must come from the General manager or Head Golf Professional of the club. Each application should have a proposer and seconder that is a Sahalee Member. Regular and Junior Executive membership applicants will be interviewed by at least three members of the Membership Committee and Social applicants will be interviewed by at least one member of the Membership Committee.

How long is the application process?

Once a complete application (application, check and letters of recommendations) is received, the interview will be scheduled and the internal process began, this will take anywhere from 30 to 60 days.

Women's Division Having fun is top priority! Everyone is welcome.

New Golfers, weekend golfers, and 9-hole or 18-hole golfers. Through various activities it becomes very easy to make friends and arrange golf games. The Women's Division offers an incredible buddy program for new members and access to Sweeps and the Sahalee Women's Team.

Junior Golf Sahalee has a great core of junior players led by our Director of Instruction, Ryan Benzel.
